This Papaya Sherbet, according to FastBuds, is a hybrid with a 9-10 weeks flowering period. Sounds like an epic strain and I personally cannot wait for this lady to strut her stuff!😍 ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The Setup: This is going to be an outdoor grow, but I have started the Papaya Sherbet photoperiod indoors as our weather is still a bit too chilly to put a newly sprouted seedling outside (nighttime temp's dipping regularly into the 40's℉). The plan is simple... let her grow inside under a 19/5 light schedule until the nighttime temperatures are in the mid 50's℉, which shouldn't be long. After which, she'll be moved outside and transplanted into the soil which I have already setup and inoculated with beneficial microbes from BioTabs and slow release dry amendments from Gaia Green. Once she's established herself outside she'll be given periodic top dressings of Gaia Green 4-4-4 and 2-8-4 along with worm castings and Compost Tea's. Her grow area is approx. 5'x5' and I have posts and a trellis net set up already for when she gets bigger to aid in training her. Let the fun begin!🤪💚 ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 8/11- Here we go into the FIRST WEEK of flower for the FastBuds Papaya Sherbet photoperiod! She finally finished her preflower stretch, ending up at a nosebleed height of 90" tall! It was such a great sight to look at her yesterday and see little flowers beginning to form. She's going to be a beautiful plant! 8/13- Our weather has cooled off after last weeks tropical system passed and it's nice to have a much needed break from the heat and humidity! I am continuing to water daily with 5-8 gallons of well water from the garden hose. I also went ahead and removed two small branches that were at the very bottom of the Papaya Sherbet that would only take away nutrients from more beneficial areas of the plant. 8/15- Today, I top dressed the Papaya Sherbet with 3 cups of Gaia Green 2-8-4 Power Bloom which I watered in with well water from the hose. I then applied 1/2 gallon of a nutrient mix I made up in 2 1/2g of well water consisting of: 1/4 cup Neptune's Harvest Seaweed(kelp) plant food and 2 1/2 tsp. of Plantonics Amino Bliss. 8/17- There goes the first full week of flower for this incredibly stunning Papaya Sherbet photoperiod from FastBuds and I can not wait to see her transformation as this lady progresses through flowering! UPDATE: Day 1 of week 14- Thursday 19th Nov!!!! Woop woop! We’re getting close, my magnifying lense arrived and I’ve got my first real good look at the trichomes.. All looking fairly cloudy with about 10-15% ambers coming through. So as we’re super close now I’ve now started flushing. Not doing a run off as have been using Biobizz soil & Nutes. First flush is done and girls are looking happy. One lady seems to have really heavy colas as she’s struggling to stand up straight. So I’ve staked her to keep her more upright. Think she may bring the best yield of all four girls as it stands so far. Final couple of weeks now, I can’t believe I’ve made it this far and really can’t wait to try my first home grown bud🍃 UPDATE: Day 2 of week 14 - Friday 20th Nov: Had to water them early as the girls were very dry after their first flush.. I on average water them every 48 hrs, but they were ready after 36. Already noticing some slight discolouration on the leaves 🍁... Glad I didn’t jump the gun and chop them this week after seeing some amber trichomes.. A bit more LST as they had stretched a little. I’m short on lamp to plant distance but noticed what looked like a little leaf burn on one of the tallest nugs. So did what I could to bring the height of them down just a little 👌 UPDATE: Day 4 of week 14 - Sun 22nd Nov: As soon as the lights went on today, more water seemed required at around 36hrs since the last flush. The girls seem to be loving it! Buds do seem to be fattening up a little more each day and I think one girl is slight more ahead than the others as she has mostly orange pistils compared to the other three.. Still need to see more amber trichomes on all four ladies before they’re ready! UPDATE: Day 5 of week 14 - Monday 23rd Nov: Small amount of LST to keep the girls as even as poss.. Defo seeing some discolouration in the fan leaves now.. All but one of the four girls have nearly completely orange pistils now which are folding back in to the buds. But Trichomes need to be a little more amber before they’re ready.. The fourth lady however is slightly behind with less orange pistils, some white ones still to turn orange and trichomes are still a mix of milky and clear on the lower buds. When I topped this one it didn’t work as well as the others so she has one really massive cola and all the others are much smaller in comparison to the other three plants.. I think we’ve got a week to 10 days left roughly till harvest. UPDATE: Day 6 of week 14 - Tuesday 24th Nov: Another water flush again today.. All seems well, lower small buds still need a few more amber trichomes I think.. But gonna post a question on here to make sure.. Don’t wanna get this wrong. Sooooooo close now and I’ll be seeing 🤩🤩🤩

Had a lot of fun growing these girls. They went through a lot off the bat due to my inexperience. Learned a lot during this run and it was extremely rewarding to nurse them back to health. I am very pleased with this grow for it being my first run. I had no expectations as I am just starting to learn and want nothing more than to acquire knowledge. The quality and yields will come once I get more dialed in. Once these girls got healthy they had no problems for the whole grow. I am already planning improvements for future systems and am extremely excited to continue on my grow journey. Thanks to all who helped me out.

Day 30: Girls are stretching and starting flower😇 pots are getting dry quick so maybe ill have to up water to 1.2l once a day or even out through out the day🤔 Day 31: Gave about 1.3L feeding to all girls! made sure to hydrate coco all the way and gave some water to watertray so they can suck it up if they are still hungry! i cheked ppm on my water but didnt check runoff yet. ppm was 900 with 0.5 convert. ph around 6. will add pics later or tmrw😎 Day 32: gave girls little lighter feeding, around 3ml/L GH nutes b clmag. I was too lazy to take proper pics with better light so took a vid instead😁 Day 33: i was thinking of pinning the tallest cola to scrog but decided against it. Mainly because these girls are doing very well, and my only consern is light burn. I cant get my light as high as i want to, cos my tent is only 180cm and got filter above my light. I think ill need yo setup next grow so my filter is outside of the tent🤔 thx for all commentors on my growquestion/diary! Made my day to hear my babies are doing well without any bigger problems😁💚 Edit: did some LST on bigger colas to avoid lightburn since these girls are strecthing almost 5cm a day😁 hopefully they will keep the same energy on developing buds😉 I checked ppm and pH from runoff; #1 ppm 750 ph 6.6 #2 ppm 750 ph 6.5 #3 ph 6.4 ppm 750 (all ppm converts were made on 0.5 rate) Gonna give low ph watering next day Day 34: Good morning growers😎 this morning i gave my girls quite an heavy feed, 6ml calmag, micro, bloom and 3 ml gro into 5 or so litres. pH around 5.7 and ppm 1100 with 0.5. Pics are coming later afternoon with some runoff numbers😎 stay lifted💚

Finished trimming the GSC tonight after a 6 day dry. Buds are very sticky and the jars smell like chocolate chip cookies. Lots of 3.5G+ buds (dry). Dry weight is about 88g of buds and 17g of shake/popcorn. Granddaddy Purple #1 is still drying, GDP #2 came out to about 70 of buds and 20g of popcorn/shake. Planning to make concentrates with the shake and popcorn. Even after no cure, I have sampled both GDP and GSC. GDP is my favorite (but GDP has always been my all time favorite) but GSC smells, looks, and tastes better. Planning to let them cure 8 weeks in Amber Ball 32oz Mason Jars, hoping for good final product. Feel like I didn’t do too bad for a first grow! Learned a lot! Cherry Pie & Wedding Cake next!

No terps coming off her yet but has a very orange smell if touched. Starting to frost up nicely and the buds are putting on weight

Not doing too bad. Seems to have settled now and stopped stretching, Smells pretty peppery, like a tangy pepper haha Start her on PK warrior next week see how she does. She's got the sumo booost foliar as well as root feed this week. All healthy though she's loving the shogun stuff 👌🏻

26 18/7/20 And.. She's topped! You can see the video of the procedure. Now let's hope everything will be ok! 27 She's doing fine, no signs of stress at all. So today I gently bent her to start with lst since she's already showing pre flowers. 29 Today I added mulch! I used shredded straw and grass clippings. I also upgraded her lst. I love using natural elements as little sticks to help with lst! Unfortunately with the mulch the photos are a bit confused. And today we had a little friend, a bumblebee! 🐝 as far as I know, there are no other outdoor cannabis plants in the surroundings so I'm not afraid of accidental pollination. She's clearly concentrating on her 2 new "tops".

Day 129. I still push her ;))) When I did mistake with lights and plants started to reveg in flower - they looked very similar and managed to finish in 3 weeks after lights were sorted. Those still have one more left till that time will run out... Hope she will catch up ... She stinks most from all 3 Northern Lights and I loved the taste of both chopped ... Terrible looking, most probably inside part of colas will be overmatured and full off worthless inside leaves, which will go yellow by chop time . ... They are very heavy tho ;) Never had such situation, so want to know the end, hope it's not bud rot ;))) She has 16 girls in veg/preflower stage around, humidity not the best .... Day 136. Last girl is going down, I will try to trim her, but most probably I will send all to bubble hash. She smells amazing, but looks sad... Most airy plant in my life, which went foxtailing too ;))) You can't have them all good I guess ... I have 1.525 kg from first 8, it's already outstanding result even without her ... But maybe I will go for bravery - will trim her all ... All last updates will be on harvest week. Happy Growing !!!

3/11/2019 All going well, Fed with grow,micro,bloom, + Overdrive. Calyxs really filling out nicely one more week of feeding them, then flushing for 1-2 weeks . In video of #2 i show where it broke, she healed and kept budding any way.😁

hello growmies! day 51 finally the pre-flowers begin to appear. I apologize for the few photos but unfortunately they really filled the box and I find it difficult. overall I have to say they look in perfect shape! This clone smells killer omg hash plant/christmas/sweet/heavy skunk. It smells killer and is a decent resin coverage it looks like coming in early like this in week 3 in flower. It filled in the 18"x 24" space i had open just perfect. She gets a heavy feed of canna nutrients @ ph of 5.6-5.7. I think staying on higher side of nutrients and back off if I see burn has been doing good on chimera run and don't tend to b hurting this clone either so full steam ahead! Much changes coming for me new flower tent is going to help alot! Stay up everyone Happy boxing day all u Canadians!

Really nice plant. Very strong smell, Well THC coated buds and very nice effects. Lovely.

Not had a good time in this tent either I will be going back to photoperiods for a while get more experience before doing autos again 😴

Welcome back to the last flowering update week. My Unit Farm test light grow of the UF2000. My house strain has been flushing for last two weeks. Fading and deficiency signs are showing as they should. I will be updating a harvest video/pictures this week after I finish the two days of darkness in a few days. Plant smell wonderful as it has in past grows. The UF2000 light for 100 watts did good in my little test area. It did not have a breeze while growing, and temps were lower then my growing rooms. Not by a lot though. The UF2000 is a great light for the price. I will be continuing to use it, and recommend it if you are on a budget. I will be doing a test grow with the UF4000 in a few months, when I start my new photoperiods. Will likely add the UF2000 in the canopy with it at that time. Thanks again UNITFARMLED_Justin.
