We have moved on to autoflowering, unlike many growers I have no prejudice against this type of plant, it is true that they are the easiest to make but it is also true that they have improved a lot in terms of flower quality and if once ease meant lower quality now even the most presumptuous old school flower children growers struggle to understand if a flower is from an autoflowering or a normal photoperiod plant. There are people who claim to recognize it from the flavor but then never succeed, it's funny how it works. I enjoy making them strip their heads with these magnificent new autoflowering plants. She is the Black Orchid I have never grown her but I have seen some truly phenomenal photos of this plant. I really hope they come out black. I love it. ---- New Home - The ladies have almost all been transplanted into 11-liter pots, which is my favorite size to get the best ratio of plants in the grow box / yield. Temp coming down and humidity rising. Starting to get a balance

Temps and humidity stable at 81-83f and between 72-78%. Ppms up to 700 for both. Dli at 20-22 roughly. 300 ish ppfd for 20 hours. Both looks great, squat and great internod development. Quite vigorous I would say. Enjoying the 700ppms of nutes and roughly 300ppfd of light too.

Going into flowering is always a special moment and we prepare to do it in the best way to make the plant understand that it is time to become a woman and speed up the start of the formation of buds. We start with 24 hours of darkness this to give a strong break and sign of change to the plant that understands the change of time and prepares to go into flowering. Our Slurricane was worked with a topping x16 buds that worked really well, we have well aligned branches, here nothing escapes upwards. The small growing bruches are perfectly aligned and it is another fantastic characteristic of plants with low internodal distance. Plants are looking very healthy. I have stopped adding Recharge and MykosWP. I have them only on water now so they can effectively eat the High Tide from Commonwealth Canna. Lights are at 90% and 20 inches above the canopy. I will be using plant stakes to hold the buds up. Should see flowers see some flower forming sooner than later. Happy and Healthy…

The plant has become really massive and the fruity smell it gives off is perhaps one of the most pleasant I've ever smelled. The plant drinks almost 2L of water per day. I changed the fertilizers by removing those not strictly necessary for the flower's energy, in order to make the plant use the vital lymph of the leaves, which will lose them further favoring the growth of the inflorescences. At the same time I added ADV Overdrive, a magnesium, phosphate and potassium based fertilizer which stimulates the weight gain of the flowers. For the hundredth day I decided to make a video, I'm definitely satisfied! I expect to cut the plant around the 10th week of flowering.

1st week out of the veg tent, post 1st defoliation. I like to do all my major training in Veg to prevent further stress in flower. I cut all lower fan leaves off and any unnecessary bud sights (ones that I know will not get any light) - Keep in mind these bitches STRETCH & grow massive fan leaves which block out almost all the light to lower sections of the plant. So you will have to remove leaves, how many is up to your preferred method.

I had a busy week moving the plants into NFT once roots started to show, put them into a tent give them a fan. Freebie seed shown slow recovery but decided to use it anyway.

This is actually week 5 of flower not 6. This week they have been given pk13/14 and boost accelerater and a and b. The plant loves nutes with no signs of deficiencies. Very strong lemon sherbet smell like dib dab sweets or lemon candy. Easiest strain I have grown to date and would almost certainly grow again

They had 48 hrs of darkness, and the time has come to say goodbye to my friends. I thanked them again, spend some time with them, and under the sound of Amazonian shaman's harvest and healing songs (will post link), asked for their gifts, and apologized for taking their lives. I do this while in contact with the plants, touching, smelling them, observing every detail, no thoughts, just in the present moment. I feel emotional as I do this and remember how they were a companion, a source of distraction in a time of worry, sadness, and loss. How they already comforted me and kept me company in a time of painful insights about honesty, commitment, and staying true to myself. Branch by bud laden branch is tenderly untangled from the scrog net, taken with a clean-cut and immediately hung upside down in the grow tent, which will now double as a curing and drying room. So the grow had dried in 7 days, what I wanted to be 14 at least. Thankfully, its Sativa ancestry shines through, the smoke isn't harsh, the buds a sticky and smelly, no hay smell at all. We ended up at 246 grams, excluding a shitload of larf and popcorn bud, totaling at 310 grams all in, a first at a gram per watt for me, but for the Zambeza seed competition, I stated we would only weigh the quality bud. Overall I'm very happy!! I took a sample off the bud to see how it’ll look dried, so the plan is to cut the plant off Sunday! All I wanted is something to smoke and at this point I’m happy that seems to be the reality after the drying&curing process! Amazing feel! Some powdery mildew starting but shouldn’t be a problem if I cut soon!
