There has been a bunch of action this week..LST, defoliation etc. The plants seem pretty happy. I am trying to slow them down so the little Black Apple Hitchcock can catch up. pH 6.0 240 ppm The water (solution) is 68F

Week 3 Flower After 21 days she's no longer stretching, but now concentrating on her flowers. She's already starting to show trichomes later on in the week too. Her base nutrients were gradually changed to the above, at a 1:2:3 G:M:B ratio. Now she's finished her stretch, silicon was decreased slightly and will be stopped by day 28. A few leaves were plucked here and there, to stop a few tops from being shaded. I'm happy with her health and growth in this early stage of flower. Now I'm looking forward to seeing her bulk up and also what smells she gives off. I added a little slo mo video on the end too 😉 Thanks for following and happy growing! 🐺

Things are moving along in flower. Really pleased how these Rainbow Pie girls are really bulking up. They all seem to be praying up to the light and happy. the wedding cake pheno ended up being a real stretcher. She was the shortest plant before flipping into flower.

Gold Sativa has been growing really fast. I had to take solution out of buckets right before update here. Was causing over watering issues with roots growing so fast. So providing more air space between basket, and solution. Should help her perk up a little more. This is my first run of photoperiods in DWC. I think I got most major issues resolved. Harvesting during week 12 flower, they took so long because the mistakes i made during the grow, dont forget when u make mistakes like mine they need longer to finish flower, usually +- 2 weeks Biggest mistakes were taking too long to transfer my ladys in the rdwc system (sort of rootbound?, check photo's) and burning my roots at week 3 of flower because of this they werent be able to take any nutrients in my opinion. Although this happened, im happy with the grow, it was my first rdwc grow and happy with the results!! I have tons of lil tops but its still good quality and they add up to a total of 580 grams!! ( 360G right plant and 220g from the plant on the left Definitely going for another round, this strain has alot of potential! Hey now, I hope everyone is having a great weekend! These two ladies had a great week, I ended up switching from the 100 Watt LED light to a 400 Watt Super HPS bulb on day 22. I really love these HPS bulbs for Veg especially when building mainlines because they do an excellent job of building thick stems that will be able to support massive colas, they do put out a ton of heat so they are better suited for cooler temps outside the tent.....The nodes typically grow about a half inch apart with this setup so if you are looking for a tall and leggy plant with minimal bud sites avoid these lights. I also topped these ladies on day 24 and they responded instantaneously with vigorous growth as I allowed the roots to fully develop as the plants were pushing thier 7th node at topping.... I also cleaned the reservoir this week with a mixture of bleach and water as well as cleaning the airstones and feeding pump, I do this once per week to avoid mold/funk/etc, I also add some food grade hydrogen peroxide to my reservoir to slow the process I began LST training on day 27, I just start by tying the two mains to the fan leaves immediately below them, then I will attach them to the sides of the container later this week, along with pinching/crushing the stems with my fingers. I also prepped 4 bricks of coco coir this week for the transplant which will take place in a couple weeks, As I was looking at the 12.5 gallon container, I realized it is going to take quite a bit of coco to fill that out. I will be giving the other plant away to a friend, and will see what I can do with these genetics in a 12.5 gallon container. I hope everyone stays safe and has a great weekend, Blaze On!!!

Hi all 🧑‍🌾 Welcome to my 🍌💜👊 week update. Hope everyone keeping well and having a great week😁 Thank you so much for so much support on this bananas ride 🙏💜💚💜💚 Everything still going pretty well. Girls are developing and stretching like crazy. Athena currently Dec 14 90cm and main stem of Xena is not far of this height either. Unfortunately noticed first signs of calcium deficiency(my opinion) on Athena. Thankfully started feeding both girls with calmag weeks back but the dosage wasn't not enough for Athena. Started small treatment very next day on Dec 11 (see description below) I belive got my baby back on right track. Week 9 Dec 11-17 Dec 11 Watering was planned for Tuesday but due to calcium deficiency decided for a little treatment. Watered both girls with mixture of reduced content of growth nutes by 50% calmag at 1.2 ml per ltr. Reduced solution PH to 6.2 as apperently it's ideal for calcium consumption. Over period 4h I have watered Athena with 5ltr with couple runoffs. Xena 3ltr. Total of 7-10 leaves affected mainly at top colas close to the light. Dec 12-13 Purely observation and all looking well. Of course all affected leaves will progres of showing signs but good news is that growth and development booming and don't see any new leaves with symptoms. Very nice trichomes development in recent days and more and more colours. Dec 14 Second watering for this week 6.5l Increased calmag to 1.4ml per ltr and if still things will be looking well reduce to 1 or 1.2 on next feeding. Dec 15 Very nice respond on yesterday feeding. They definitely fatten over night and getting more and more frosty. Will need to remove some foliage soon as getting extremely bushy again. Dec 17 Xenas main stem top cola almost touched the light today. Tied her to left side of the cabinet, applied selective defoliation on both girls, tied few branches to netting and on the end of this busy day a third watering for this week. 7 ltrs beetwen both. Runoffs Xena PH6.4 Athena 6.3. Very nice week have to say. I belive that calcium deficiency on Athena is no longer a case here and both girls developing very nicely. This plant plus one more started to wilt earlier on in the week, I figured it was probably time to transplant seeing as they had been in the solo cups for 2 weeks. After transplant plants seemed to be happy again. I introduced amino acids this week as well. They are getting the grease spray and drench program

Day 79 - Added 7 mL of CalMag Micro Grow and Bloom. Added 7 mL of each additive. PPM is 706. Day 81- Using noticeably less water now. Checked PPM 475. In moving the plant to water, a small branch broke. Trichomes are mostly clear. Started to dry it as a tester for rest of the plant. It takes 7 days for me to dry the tester at 70F and 40RH. Not ideal temp but that is how it goes. Day 82 - Might have seen first amber trichs Day 83 - Added 10 mL of Overdrive. PPM is 430. Trichs are mostly cloudy. Hairs are 80% orange. Branches are leaning from the weight. Day 86 - Added 5 mL of CalMag Micro Grow and Bloom. Added 5 mL of each additive. PPM is 588.
