By the third week of flower we are getting excited because we see the buds really bulk up. It is early on and we are seeing these top nodes take shape into colas. Here is the work put in this week: -Prepare each plant with 1 gallon of lukewarm water with 3 tsp Big Bloom, 2 tsp of Grow Big and 2 tsp of Tiger bloom. Oh and 5 mLs of Cal Mg. -pH the water to 6.5 and pour. -Shop Vac runoff. -Before tent lights turn on at 7AM, spray all 3 plants from top to underneath to the bottom to top of soil with GrowSafe. If you don't know what it is, look it up. Here is the solution concentration: 3.75 mL GrowSafe in 1 cup of H20. This is a preventative measure ;-) Then after that it is cleaning up the lower growth on the stems. Some people call it Lollipoping. I'm leaving virtually all fan leaves above 1/3-1/2 of the way up the plant. I tightened up the plant arrangement as well by placing them in a triangle shape. I believe this will help the two plants that were living at either end of the lights (where the light might not have been ideal) closer to the center. Now each plant has an even amount of light exposer. I also adjusted some branches with foam garden wire in such a way that evens out the height and width of canopy. The sour diesel buds grew the quickest at first. The do si dos buds are stacked under a lot of leaf growth. And the gelato buds, which started out as the smallest and slowest growing, sped up by the end of the week, almost catching up to the size of do si dos's buds. Thanks for reading my post :-) -

420 Fastbuds FBT2303 Week 4 Weekly update for these two beautiful plants. Both seem about the same height though one is definitely more stacked. I did do a major deforliation on both taking off most bigger fan leafs, even though you can't tell. I'll probably do another mild one as they transition into flower as I'm starting to see pistols forming. I did up the water/feeding to 2000ml every other day alternating from nutes to just ph'd water. All in all Happy Growing

10 September Harvest - see pictures. While some growers leave the plant whole when they cut, I do not. It is a personal preference and situational convenience if your a home grower. I chose to cut large, long branches, and remove any whole water leaves, as long as it doesn’t interfere with the bud formation. I don’t trim yet. This is done for a few of reasons: 1) It’s my last good close-up look at her until another 5 days or more, 2) I don’t want wet leaves drying on my buds if I can help it, and 3) I occasionally like being able to shine a small LED flashlight on the flowers while its drying. Mold is our greatest problem as growers, it can destroy a beautiful grow right up until the end process. Then I hang it in a dark closet, provide circulation and ventilation. Light and heat, anything above 80 degrees F, will start a break down in cannabinoids during the dry, it is ideal to stay away from both. I’m fortunate that a humidity level of 50- 55% and temperature of 65-70 degrees F is fairly consistent and easy to maintain. Anything below 60 degree F will prevent the adequate drying out of chlorophyll. Almost all my flower routinely take 5-7 days, some a little longer, to properly dry out. 15 September Trim - see pictures. First you’ll notice the buds have shrunk up to half their original size. This is just a fact that we growers have to deal with. Due to evaporation without uptake of water, it takes about 3 days for the chlorophyll to dry up, then slowly go through a chemical change. Along with the leaves, cannabinoids also begin a chemical change after 3 days called decarboxylation. A slow process where the THC level increases while curing. You want the leaf to be dry so they can be hand trimmed easily, but you do not want that bud so dry that it starts to fall apart in your hand. Try to handle carefully by the main stem to avoid touching the bud all together. A lot of these cut leaves will be covered with trichomes, good for making oils, or other products, it’s an option worth looking into keeping it. After trimming, I do separate a few premium flowers for my first smoq. Then loosely fill wide mouth quart mason jars with about 1 oz/28 gr of product per jar. I seal the lids for a few hours to determine what relative humidity they are at, see hygrometer pic, before making a decision to put in a 62% humidity control pack of my choice or to wait, then place in secure in a cool dark place with stable humidity and temperature. It is very important to then observe/burp or exchange the air as needed, up to several times a day, until 62% rh is achieved. Once your close to to your mark, put in your desired RH level control terpene shield. If you have a problem getting there: 1) it has dried out too much, no real solution, try to put several large cut stems left over from harvest into the jars with the buds to try and increase humidty, 2) it has not dried out enough, in this case no problem, just remove and dry out a little more. This is also a personal choice, some people like it drier in the 50% plus range. Whatever you do, research and preserve. At that time burping is no longer required. Cannabis will reach its peak potency potential at about 40 or so days into the cure. The finished product should be a perfect grind when cured correctly without clogging up your grinder, this could take a month. Now that I’ve said that, I’m sure someone has grown something that they have not been able to grind. It can remain in this state for an easy 6 months with little change, locking in all the terpenes and potencies. All you need to do is occasionally check the product to ensure there are no molds. If your grow/harvest/cure techniques are good this should not be an issue. It would not be uncommon to find many cannabis strains will last, with small degradable change, for up to one year after being stored this way. Using an airtight glass container, controlled relative humidity, maintained low temperature, and kept in darkness will equal maximum shelf life. Always avoid direct sunlight and temperatures above 80 degrees F. The reasons I’ve ultimately chosen Deep Water Culture as a grow medium. Each has their own pros and cons indeed. I found the most efficient, less maintenance and ideal solution for my situation was DWC. Burdens to overcome depend on size up set-up; initial equipment cost, size of containers, ph monitors, air pumps, type of water to use-reverse osmosis, RO cost/set-up/maintenance, ways to transfer/change water and nutrients, what nutrients to use and schedules, takes several grows to learn and understand, a 1 year learning curv, easy to nutrient burn. The Benefits of growing in water; no dirt, no bugs, no diseases, rare nutrient deficiencies/toxicities, steady and rapid growth that enables the plant to reach its genetic potential. After harvest, there is about a 1 hour equipment cleanup, sterilization and turn around process before replanting. Cannabis will perform in so many different ways and mediums, no one way is the best and the best way is the one you are using, right. Chose what works for you in the long run. There will always be an initial cost in set-up. My advice if one were in need to cut corners, I would not recommend cheap lights. This single factor is the most critical, afford for the best. The notion that organic and water has a different taste, flavor and potency effect is absolutely debatable. The more we learn the better we grow and experience is always the best teacher. This is what works for me and my methods of growing in general from beginning to end. A BIG “Thank You” to everyone who stopped by to take a look. I enjoy Auto strains simply by what can be achieved in a short time. No matter the strain they will unveil one thing in common, the demand for attention. Got the scrog net added and super cropped. Probably let them go another week then flip to flower. It's been a pretty great experience with flora flex pH has been stable haven't needed to use the pH controler. Top off with 5 gallons of water every few days. I do over fill the buckets a bit they come up to the bottom of the net pots. So stick around the fun is only beginning

The plant looks very healthy in terms of color, but has a few small white spots. Humidity is approx. 65% but will be switched off in the next few days to avoid possible mildew. Flowering Day: 14

On week 5 of actual flowering the plants are coming along nicely and HSC GSC is looking the best so far but its still early :) WW is slow to start flowering just small amount of pistils so far small buds looks more like week 3 or 4 as far as flowering progression.

Hello growers and tokers! 👋 👩‍🌾 🧑‍🌾.🔥💨 There has been much change this week!! First there was a big defoliation done, I cleaned the bottom of the plants. All the growth that wouldn't amount to anything because the light doesn't penetrate that low. Also took off the biggest fan leaves to give more room for light. Then finally switched to 12/12.. After just 36 hours after the defoliation there was a major change. New growth everywhere, colas started stretching upwards fast. By far the tallest girls in the tent. Her colas are stacking up nice and tight if she keeps that up we'll have some nice dense colas. 😁 Great reaction to the defoliation and 12/12 switch. I'm still watering every other day, After the defoliation I watered with only Enzymes 2ml/L to clean the roots a bit then started with the nutrientes again. I dropped the amount of grow nutrients from 3ml/L to 1ml/L and started adding bloom nutrientes 2ml/L for now. I'll slowly be upping the bloom nutrientes and after week 2 I'll no longer add grow nutrients. That's it for this week. Stay tuned to see how they flower. Stay safe!

Started LST on day 21, and lolipopped her to be mainlined to 5 nodes! Grew very nicely! Tried watering her with just plain water one time mid flower... She likes food, to say the least ;)

Nun bin ich in der siebten Woche sie ist in der letzten Woche und gute 10 cm gewachsen die Blätter sind sehr schön Und grün auch so macht sie einen guten Eindruck die Seiten arme kommst sehr schön heraus und sie wächst und wächst, heute am 24. September habe ich sie gedüngt mit Green House Bio Grow empfohlen werden 3-5g Substrat pro Liter da mein Topf 2 Liter hat habe ich heute 6g als öbeeflächendüngung einmassiert. Außerdem habe ich enhancer benutzt und auch hier als oberflächendüngung. Es sind 0,5 Gramm pro Liter da ich 2 Liter habe benutze ich ein Gramm heute jedoch habe ich ca 0,5 g auf die Oberfläche gestreut und dann nach gegossen noch schaue mal ob sich das bewährt.

Today 7/30/19, day 57 and the start of week 9. I'm still continuing to alternate between days with my pesticide treatment (especially after finding that bug living on one of hulkberries fan leaf) and thrive alive green daily foliage spray as a prophylactic solution against any possible pests or mold going into these last few dog days of veg. I will flush them with distilled ph'd water for two days this weekend in preparation for flower. Then I'll start them on some "flower fuel" bloom booster on top of my secret for success flower recipe at 1/4 of the recommended strength. Outside of that still no adverse issue to report for the end of the 8th week. After my last trim, they both have responded very nicely, I was kind of worried about fat banana stalled growth. But one thing I noticed when I topped her at the 6th node, yes the main stem stopped growing but it developed many bud sites up and down every stem. Whereas hulkberry was topped at the 8th node, she has mainly focused on developing long stems and only 2 or 3 bud sites along her stems. Even though hulkberry in structure, is much bigger than fat banana and has a way bigger root system. Fat banana is bushier and has developed way more bud sites than hulkberry. I can't tell which strain will yield the most at this point only time will tell! Also, a big shout out to "J"@RQS, thank you for the excellent customer service. Another reason why Royal Queen Seeds is top 3 in breeding!!

I've topped this beautiful girl 16 times, now I'm going to take some time off from the stress to get out, then I'm going to put on the scrOG net and switch the light cycle to 12/12, she feels great💚🌋

This girl took a little longer to trim up. Me and two grow buddies got her done in about 4 hours. Boy is she a sticky one! And stinky. 😁 There were plenty of scissor hash hits, which slowed us down a bit. The buds seem dense and tight and should dry and cure up nicely. I can't wait to dive head-first into this one. It's like I want it to take it's time hanging and drying, but at the same time, hurry the hell up! 😉 All in all, I'm very happy with how this grow went. 💪 SMOKE REPORT This girl was a pleasure to grow, she had no issues start to finish. And even better, she produced a very nice yield of 5.6 ounces of very nice, potent, flavorful buds. The buds have a nice earthy flavor, which is my favorite type. They're nice and dense too. It's not quite as couch-lock as the Opium I grew from Divine, but it's still a night time smoke. Overall, great stuff! 😎

Last week of bloom, After watering the last weeks whith only water I have let the soil getting more dry and after 57 day of flowering i cut this ztrawberry and will let her dry in the same tente where she grow. See you soon for the harvest report! Have a good day everybody! 🌞
