Harvesting An ELEPHANT !!!
And after 118 day from seed and 101 from wen she started her mix veg/flowering process, i cant say for sure but i am starting to believe that this auto world do veg, then veg and flower in conjunction for a wile and only after they a wile they move to a flowering stage completely but thats another post another day lol today was harvest day for this Auto Elephant from SSSC , and let me tel you she is a delight with huge fruits, so big that i normally cut and hang the all plant and for this i did not take the risk of doing that and getting bud rot , better safe than sorry, so what i broke her in smaller peaces and put it all in the rack.
Now not much to do than waiting for it to get around 10/15% humidity and jar with it all.
This one as you guys can see from the video , this is a full covered in trichomes BIG MAMA and touching her is like touching super glue or something lol i was trying to put all the colas in one picture , but is simply just not possible , they all look great so i selected 4 of them for a true back back ground <3
Thank you Super Sativa Seed Club for this opportunity, i fell like a champion no matter what with this 2 Mamas, much respect on the work you guys did on this Elephant

top ups will be 50 ml now

Still no signs of trichomes turning

nutrient use has dropped a little bit must be getting near to harvesting some soon

There as big as they can be for my space so I'm switching to 12/12 Ive also switched the IR on as it's supposed to speed up the flowering transition.
It's a new light to me at the moment from geeklight it's 3000k 320w v4 lm301H with added 660nm switchable IR and UV. I've got it 40cm from the plants and have been using a lux meter app on my phone. (don't have par meter) I read online that 50000 max in veg and 65000 to70000 max in veg is about right but I'm just turning it up as I go.
The plants are very compact compared to HPS. My light spread over 120x60cm is really good in comparison to a 440w HPS.
If anyone has experience with quantum boards I'm open to advice?

SUMMARY: Its finally time to start the flush and I'm aiming to flush for 2 weeks. I started the flush on day 95 flushing with tap water straight from the hose. I’ve heard you’re supposed to flush with 3x the container volume, however that would be around 57 litres for a 5 gallon pot which seems absurd. I didn’t record the amount but I took my time and flushed with at least 30 litres.
I am now continuing to water twice daily until harvest aiming for 20-30% runoff each time. I water once of a morning around 11:00 giving roughly 2-2.5L and again of an evening around 18:00 giving a further 2.5-3L.

Week 5 defoliated a little but not much , there getting sticky and the smell is getting really strong now with a smell of oranges and pungent weed , you can see the trichomes forming all over the plants , they look similar at this point to super lemon haze and are stretching like it too.

She is doing very well. She even grew a bit, probably the buds. They are still growing, even so the growth decreased. The trichomes started to develop rapidly and she gets frosty. I would say again she might need two weeks.😏

🔸Our Lady 💃 continues to dance through the flowering phase – and how! The buds have grown significantly in volume and now appear more compact and firm. The white pistils are slowly turning orange, a clear sign that ripening is progressing. The trichomes are now ubiquitous – a glittering carpet of resin covers the flowers and gives them that coveted “frosty look.” The sugar leaves are also covered with crystals and have an intense aroma – a foretaste of what is to come. 🍬✨
🔸The plant continues to receive Big Bud from Advanced Nutrients, which it acknowledges with a significantly increased thirst. I now water every two days.

Both plants have almost stopped growing in heigth now and are in full flowering mode now. Barbarian (=AK-47 x Barbara Bud) Plant #1 is 15 cm shorter than plant #2, but a little bushier. Both have grown very well and are strong and healthy. They get more and more flower clusters now and start to fill up all branches. Trichomes start to appear all over...the plants start to get sticky and develop a weak sweet aroma now. Its time to take off the biggest fan leaves now for defoliation, I took a round of pics before and after.

Día 88 y penúltimo antes del corte.
Ya se aplicó Flawless Finish para un acabado impecable como su nombre lo indica. Siempre prefiero hacer el lavado de raiz solo aplicando agua en las últimas 2 semanas, pero esta vez lo hice aplicando el finalizador y luego los últimos riegos con agua purificada.
La verdad es que estoy contento con los resultados de esta nena, que es hermosa por cierto, desprende olores ácidos, cítricos, dulces.
Los colores son hermosos y las flores están rebosantes de tricomas, lo que la vuelve muy vistosa.
Es todo por ahora, estaré manteniendoles informados en estos últimos días.

Eventful yet easy week. After putting eVE into flower mode she began to grow again very fast. I have tried to keep humidity in the high 40's and have done random CO2 enrichment. The roots have been doing well so far after the pruning two weeks ago. Would like to see the branches get thicker. The first pistil showed up today and made me happy that it came up so fast.

Some adjustments but nothing special.
I have put the 2 Moklum in 1 big pot and separated them inside with a plastic plate.
I am surprise of the speed they grow up.
I keep continuned and I think I am in a good way for the moment. Except the heat. It is too much but it is very hot now

I take the photos with the lights dimmed right down, not sure how some of you get such good photos..

05/13 - added Big bud and B-52 on 05/10.
PPM is over 1400 - plants show zero sign of over fertilizing.. I'm impressed. I've always found AN to be pretty hot - where I can run it slightly below recommendation, but Im tempted to increase with these gals. I won't, but I'm tempted.

Week 8 is going great, started flush
toward the end of week 7 on Zkittlez and OG Kush. Also started flushing Pink Kush CBD and Purple Punch at start of week 8. All are packing weight still and smelling very fragrant. Trichomes are starting to cloud out and I am planning on harvesting when trichomes are starting to amber.
