Third week its here now

Having this plant with the highs and lows makes me appreciate a plant like this and how strong they can be ... The growth has been quick and the bud sites have really started filing in better this second week ..can't wait for the next couple weeks and how big they be..cheers

Ganja Farmer Seeds Mandarine Auto Day 25 from sprout Light: ViparSpectra XS2000 dialed in at 75% Watering top and bottom every other day to every 2 days I am very happy thus far with the genetics from Ganja Farmer Seeds. Mandarine Auto is doing well responding to LST and is starting to grow at a faster rate moving into week 4. My hopes is that she takes another week or so to begin pre flower. I can only say that the rate of growth im getting is amazing. Out of all three of the purple punch seems to have the most potent smell I am not sure if it's just the genetics or if it's what I'm feeding but we will see once the other start to develop. Touching the purple punch stem leaves a strong smell on the fingers and giving the bud small pinch smells strongly of grape chapstick. Stay tuned 😜

It still looks like there humming along gonna give one more week of veg after transplanting them so the roots can settle in. I don't want to stress them with to much after repotting them as the roots were air pruning though the 3 gal pots. My freaking camera stopped taking pictures at day 4 of week 4 not sure why, then today the power went out in my neighborhood it happened around the dark cycle so I hope with that and the transplanting it would not stress them to much. Another VEG feeding this week with extra (N) I hope the pale ones benefit from that. I diluted the food per the advice of you all to 500 ppm @ 6.0 ph will see how it goes this week I will post more at the end of the week as always. Thanks Drewbie

I did defolation the larger leaves. because they were turning yellow. in 2 weeks or 3 should be ready .its nutrition has been only organic ... with earthworm humus and red bird guano.

Bud wet weight : 168,1g of trimmed medium to big sized buds 25,4g of tiny tiny buds/larfs = 193.5 grams of trimmed wet buds. Details on genetics and smoke report above. This, as my first grow, is way more than I ever expected it to be. I haven´t had that much fun and enthusiasm in a very very long time. I can´t even explain the feeling it is to harvest your own cannabis, but I know most of you know what I´m talking about haha. It was really nice to practice LST, even tho it was SO HARD, ´cause I didn´t had barely any space to work since I used a hard pot and did not fill nearly half the size of it and the walls of the pot were really high. It was even difficult to water without dropping water on the lower buds. I haven´t learnt much about defoliation tho, I feel I need to study a little more about the phases you should or should not do it. Also, I discovered thrips are a pain in the ass. I had 2 tough weeks dealing with thrips, but in the end it was alright. I don´t have any humidity control device, which I intend to buy for the next grows. Growdiaries was really helpful for me, it kept me motivated everyday (not that I wouldn´t have had it anyways), the Grow Questions are REALLY useful and all the community is awesome. Thanks to all people that helped me here on GD during this first grow! To conclude it: I am really happy and satisfied with how the grow turned out. They look incredible, it almost feels like I can´t believe it still. Peace. UPDATES: 07/10 : The buds are now dry and already in curing jars, one of them with a Boveda 58% humidity pack. The total grams of the dry buds are: 41.4g (medium to big sized buds) 4.1g (tiny buds) = 45.5 grams! I´m really happy with the results, I thought it would be around 30g so yeah, that´s a really good surprise! In 2 weeks I´ll be back to update the smoke report. Thanks so much for reading! Peace. 09/10 : I managed to fit everything in the same container with some space between them, so now every bud is with the Boveda pack. 14/10: It´s been a week and the smell improved, it still smells a little like hay/plant ( even tho it´s not too dry neither too wet ). 21/10: Now it´s been two weeks and even tho the smell isn´t anymore hay, it´s a lot herbal. I really think the aroma can get better, but the taste is already good enough for me. The smoke report has been done and in case I have something to add, I´ll report here. 20/05/2021 (Day 65) Se realizo un nuevo cambio de solución. Las plantas se encuentran espléndidas y listas para comenzar un proceso de engorde y resinado. Esta semana se incorpora una barra de 1m de osram con Deep Blue, Far red e hiper red como complemento de rojos y azules. 23/05/2021 (Day 68) Hoy se colocó la segunda malla scrog y podemos observar que las plantas van desde 90cm de altura al suelo en su expresión mas indica y 110cm de distancia al suelo en la expresión mas sativa.

This was a great grow under the Unit Farm UF2000 light. Was a great yield for 100 watt light. Thank you again UNITFARMLED_justin. There will be more Unit Farm grows in the future. From the beginning to the end this genetics was absolutely strong , she wins against very big thrips attacks, 100% well finished , true African sativa power my friends here ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️

Unsure if this will produce bigger buds before harvest, watching the trichomes now to see when the right time will be. I anticipate her being ready by Christmas, will cut when trichomes are mostly cloudy

30/6/26.beginning week 5,day 29 of flowering. The plant takes in all the fertilizer and water like a very hungry coyote. The key here is PH and TDS(ppm) control.

This past week has been a struggle. I keep my plants on the balcony during the day and in the grow box during night and I inspect every single of their leaves everytime I move them in or out. A few days ago I noticed some kind of microscopic egg on one of her flowers and then some sort of parasites under her leaves. Since then: panic. I searched for the name of the parasite (acarus) and bought some neem oil which I applied manually on every leaf (to prevent it from going on the flowers) and onto the ground. Since then the parasites are almost gone. But now she has these "sad" leaves, with their points bent down and the margins as well.. I've read different explanations, but I think in my it might be the high temperature and the overwatering, together with the dammed fungus flies. I'll keep going with the neem oil and diminish the water. Apart from all this, her flowers are still growing and producing so much resin🤤

Day15 - Day17: I had some difficulties to get the humidity right. It was either too high or fluctuating too much. I ended up getting a timer for the plug and running the humidifier 15mins every hour. To help with air flow, I have the main duct fan running 4 times a day for an hour. To ensure that there's airflow around the plant, I have a fan in the light as well as a smaller clip-on fan that runs during light hours. I'm not sure how the camera moved on day17... I only watered it mid-day. Day18: The timer on the humidifier and Duct Fan is now keeping the humidity in a good space. VPD now under control Day19: The Vivosun controller perfectly adapted the lighting schedule to an hour earlier, to ensure 6hrs of darkness. UInfortunately the RPi kept it's 04:00 schedule (makes sense). So I captured an hour of darkness. Adapted everything. Will have 18hrs again from Day20 onwards. Day20: In the next days I'll lift the camera higher for a better view of what's happening up top. My mesh-netting-dingsbums will arrive and I'll use this as a platform for the pi+camera. Day21: I'm not sure if I like this angle. I'll only keep it like this until she goes into veg-mode. It at least shows the new nodes growing from different perspective

Day 64: Feeding day. I stopped giving them the Big Bud supplement and started feeding them with the Overdrive as recommended. Went with recommended dosage which is 2ml/L. There is 2 weeks of feeding left until the final flush. Day 65: Small problem this morning that looks like calcium deficiency on multiple leaves of the 3 plants. Not worried but I'll keep a close eye on this. I went and bought the Sensi CalMag Xtra still from advanced nutrients and plan on doing a foliar spray as soon as my lights turns off. EDIT: Lights are off, I sprayed only one plant, the worst looking one, just to see if it would do any good. If so, I'll apply the same treatment to the others, if not I'll find another solution. I added 1ml to 500ml and gave her 5 good sprays, enough to simulate the evening dew. I know I shouldn't spray during flower but I need it to act quickly. --- 4 hours later, it seems to have at least stop the spread, will confirm tomorrow. Day 66: So it stopped spreading because the lights were off. It looked worst this morning but only on the plant I sprayed -_- the 2 others seemed fine and recovering. I would normally feed tomorrow but they need it fast so I'll add 2ml/L of CalMag today and then 1ml/L after that on other normal feeding days. Also, I figured why the problem happened. I learned that you need to calibrate your measuring tools once in a while... The pH of my solution was way off down to 5.5 when I thought it was good. So yeah keep your tools clean and calibrated! A bit later after feeding, I was wondering if adding the CalMag was really necessary, since the 3 parts nutrient should already have what the plant needs and now that the pH is set well, it should take it in nicely. I'll monitor that very closely. Perhaps I fucked everything up. Day 67: Everything is kinda fine. The farthest is still the worst looking one with a bunch of brown spot on pretty much all of her top leaves. She's not dead but in bad shape. I know I shouldn't expect them to disappear instantly but it makes it hard to say if the treatment was effective. At least I don't see any signs of toxicity. The others seemed to have stabilized too. Day 68: Video update on the calcium deficiency. Deficiency? Well... turns out it's quite the opposite and I'm actually facing a lockout. I should've known since like I said, the 3 parts nutrient already has what the plant needs, and also the fact that I've never flushed them. Experience they call it... So I flushed them with water pH 6-7 until the runoff was in the same range. FYI the first runoff measurement I took was at 5.5. Next feeding will be on Day 71. I really hope that this is actually the problem and that they can now recover for real. Buds are getting fatter by the day. Day 69: Nice They still seem to get worse day by day :( I don't know what to do. Day 70: Fucking Christ!!! I'm this close of throwing everything away. The farthest one is looking terminally ill and I'm pretty sure I see new spots on the 2 others. WTF is going on!!! The soil is still very moist from the recent flush.
