Germination 07/09/2022 Hi to all the old and new growers out there. Spring has barely started but I'm so AMPED to start again. My first grow attempt was a disaster. I started to early for the season. I wasted some good seeds and those Blasted 🐌 🐌 snails messed up everything. Got up started again and took it as a learning curve. I had 1 seed left from the previous attempt and this had to be the golden ticket. The first important thing I learned was getting to the correct pH. Used a 1 liter jug not knowing that the pH down was very concentrated substance. Added 1ml of pH down to tap water with a base of 8.5+ pH and brought it down all the way to less than 4.5 pH. I probably tried like 5 times and realized that a single drop made a difference of about 2 pH. I got the feel of it and had to source a better water supply. I had the option of using tap water but didn't have the time to do a 24 hour airstone run ever time I wanted to water the plants. The local water supply shop was a better option. I got a consistent 6 pH and the price was decent. The Snail 🐌 Problem... I have a plan for those F**kers. We have 2 very nice hydroponic shops in my city. Wow these girls have fatten up nicely over the last week. I am giving them at least 10 more days. They have some golden hairs and they are starting to get milky. I can't wait to try this strain out. 4/28 they each have grown an inch in a day and a half. Lightly defoliated a few large fan leaves to get light to the smaller buds underneath. This grow has been so easy. They have loved the coco and clay 50/50 mix and my nutes. I haven't increased anything in a few weeks. They have only had a few spots that may have been sun burns from a few light leaks that I noticed and covered with black crayon to fill the spaces, mainly around the zipper seam. Next grow I will increase from 6" pots to 8" self watering pots. They work like hydroponic without the bubbles. Watering twice daily keeps the buildup flushed out and with fresh nute water in the bottom of the pots, I have huge root balls under the inner pot. One or two weeks to go. Pink seems like she will be done first, followed by blue and purple. Green is huge so far but hasn't started to turn golden at all. 5/1 Had a friend stop by who actually works at a grow center and she told me that my babies were ripe and ready to pick. I'm not sure how everyone does it but she told me to pluck as many leaves as I could get to before turning the light off for 24 hours and then chop. She also said to hang the whole plant since they are small autos so I didn't harm the buds in the trimming and drying process. She said once they are dry to trim the remaining leaves for butter and oil for edibles then collect the buds from the stems. Pics will be added tomorrow of the drying setup. Last grow until September because we will be traveling for summer!!

Ginger Nut cookies & Aussie music Videos Grow Diary update 27th Feb 2020 The preflowering Stretch has well and truly begun with every branch that wasn't tied down , shooting upwards a few inches. The plant itself looks very healthy and content. Once flowering starts I'll begin to add P+K to the feeding regime. We have had bugger all sunlight here for over a week and also we have had lots of rain and wind. Daily max temps have been around the 24-25 celcius range and the minimums around 15 c. RH has been high 67% on average. That is about it for this weeks plant update . Now for the weekly Music videos. ** Last week I posted the links to three different artists who were picked by fellow growers thru the Grow question that I posted asking for requests. ** This week is back to just the one featured Artist from Australia. This week's artist is Mr Paul Kelly who is an Australian rock music singer-songwriter and guitarist. He has performed solo, and has led numerous groups, including the Dots, the Coloured Girls, and the Messengers. He has worked with many other artists and groups and is considered one of the finest singer songwriters to have come from Australia. Once again I couldn't narrow it down to just one song as he's had many great tunes but I have chosen the two with the best Music video as that is the main criteria for my Diaries Theme. Flipped ‘em to flower about a week ago. So far to my untrained eyes they’re looking great. I’m watering ever three days and feeding once every other watering. Mixture of fox farms nutrients (disregard amounts in stats above) at like 25-40 percent of full strength. Ppm was 700 and ppfd is 700-800 according to Photone. Disregard the little fella in the solo cup. I never transplanted it and just kept it in there. Now I’m just keeping it as a bonus plant plus to learn leaf symptoms, etc. I’m really excited to guide these through the home stretch! They’re already way bigger than my last, and first, harvest.

Semana 0 Del 3 al 9 de agosto Estamos en la semana 0 que va a ser la primera desde el cambio a 12h. Las temperaturas están siendo geniales y los LED ayudan bastante. Estamos en 26°C en ON y unos 24°C en OFF. Vimos que el último riego pudo ser demasiado potente y aprovechamos para hacer varias cosas. • La planta tiene 0 marcas de bichos, ni picaduras ni nada.. parece que los preventivos han funcionado bien, pero no bajamos la guardia. Espolvoreamos la capa de arriba del sustrato con tierra de diatomeas y humedecemos. Como el sustrato ya había bajado bastante, echamos una capa de sustrato ( monkey soil coco) y repetimos volvemos a espolvorear. • Realizamos riego con unos 2l casi. Usamos 0.16 Mammoth P + 1 calmax PH 6,2 EC: 0,4/0,6ms Th20: 23,5°C • Hoy soltamos todo el sistema LST. La idea es la siguiente: dejarle un día suelta descansando para que se estire un poco y luego colocarlas en su posición final. Parece que tiene forma de pino y cada rama esta cogiendo esa forma, por eso quiero estirar la un poco, para que tengan sitio. 5 de agosto Volvems a hacer el LST Pero esta vez con grapas de hierro, aprovechamos para dejar en posición. Mientras la entrenabamos quebrados el tallo central.. 6 de agosto Vemos que se posiciona mejor y aprovechamos para quitar algunas hojas y algún brote pequeño. Hoy a vuelto el calor pero aguantamos en unos 28,5°C de max. La humedad si he es alta, entorno al 70% 8 de agosto Hoy movemos un poco los brotes para que quede menos sombras. Aprovechamos para hacer un riego con 1,5l usando 5ml•l de Delta 9 PH 6,01 EC: 1,2ms Th20: 26,6°C El calor continúa y más o menos aguantamos las condiciones. 28°C y un 66% de humedad. Este riego de Delta 9 le sentará genial, se puede apreciar como siguen estirando los brotes de cada rama para coger su sitio de cara a florecer. Además la planta en general a engordado bastante en cuanto a tallo y ramas más fuertes. 9 de agosto Terminamos esta semana de perforación. Seguimos con el calor y la humedad, en ese sentido a sido un mal día. De temperatura rondamos los 28°C con una max de 30 y mínimas de 24,5°C (en OFF)*. La humedad a andado de 60/70%, esperamos que las condiciones mejoren cuando la flora sea mas avanzada. Hoy realizamos ultimo preventivo, unas 6h com el quemador de azufre para después de ventilar un rato hacer un foliar con 15ml spruzit + 2 aceite de neem + 2 un producto de prueba. Las sensaciones son tremendas y la verdad que nos lo estamos tomando con mucha ilusión porque esta quedando preciosa y respondiendo como un Jabato. El juego a empezado amigos, a partir de ahora empieza lo buenoo.

She was always thirsty! She drank almost as much as my 10ft tall plant & she was under 2ft tall?! Handled LST very well. She had an abundance of leaves which looked like a beautiful canna-bush growing but come trim time ugh not so much. Her leaves started turning darker purple the last two weeks, making her even prettier! She was only 14 inches tall (LST) & wound up having 65 bud sites.

This week I started flushing the ice cream cake. I'm looking to flush it for a total of five to six days. The purple punch still looks like it has another week or maybe even two. I'm quite sure my temps are too high for this strain.

That was the most difficult week. It was very cold and rainy, the humidity of the air reached 90% at most, but without sequels, thank God. On day 63, I defoliated and she is strong, fat and definitely smells like cheese.

This week I did LST (low stress testing) on ​​the plants, pulling the branches downwards using bud clips. Some petals on the leaves of one of the plants curled slightly upwards. I'm on alert; I believe it's due to the light being too close. I raised their lamp to about 400 ppfd (light pressure per square inch).

5/25: It rained again today for most of the day, but I managed to get back out there and take some photos after it let up. I also shot a short video early in the a.m while it was sprinkling and the lights were on... I heard that this strain flowers really fast, but I really don't think she can finish before June 21 (the summer solstice). The other two seedlings (FFT#5 and FFT#6) are in the same boat. The 5 clones outdoors might be able to finish before they get the signal to reveg. I may end up bringing as many of them as I can fit into my closet to finish and starting another batch of beans to grow outdoors this summer... 5/26 - 5/31: I did some training on her early in the week between rain showers, and foliar fed with Microlife maximum bloom formula. She was looking a little N deficient, so I assume the dry amendments have petered out. I top-fed her with another couple tablespoons of cavern culture and on the 31st, they were dry enough to feed them. I gave them big bloom, tiger bloom, grow big, beastie bloomz, silica, endoboost, signal, humic acid, liquid kelp/fish emulsion, and liquid molasses. It just feels so strange that I'll be harvesting outdoor photos in June!?! That's it for week 8-
