Last week was pretty stable. The buds are steadily fattening up, just how we like it. They all got burned leave tips, I think it has to do with too little runoff, because I’m using GHE’s flora hydro schedule on exactly half strength. Its not getting worse over the last days so its probably not a big deal. Like I said last week, I have a dehumidifier now. I got it hooked up to one of the air holes on the bottom. My sonoff temperature and humidity sensor checks when it goes over 65% rh, and fires on the dehumidifier whenever needed to blow difrectly in the tent. I do wonder if I could save on electricity to get a stronger exhaust fan. Because the humidity outside the tent is low enough, so more air circulation could fix the humidity issue without actively dehumidifying I think. I’ve been eyeing on the Apogee SQ-102 PAR meter. Its not perfect for led light but it does give a pretty good idea about the amount of light hitting the plants. I’d like to get a better idea of the optimal distance between plants and light. Especially since i ran into loads of light burn issues in this grow and past grows.

The buds are getting fat and tasty. Looking at the plant the harvest won't be the best but hopefully the smoke will be nice 🙏☘️😀

It's happening! It's going to be a high of 32C/90F and so very sunny, so why not train them today? They're both 22 days from seed as of training start. #2 got FIMmed: So I was planning on topping one but ended up choosing to FIM it instead because it's lower stress. I have no idea what will happen now. I've never done either before. I chose #2 because it seems to be having an easier time producing leaves so far. I have a video of the cut. I used a pair of bonsai shears. I was really second guessing that I actually had to cut the leaves? I missed one, and it just felt weird to go back in and cut healthy growth, even though I'd already took off most of the newest leaves. I am not convinced I did this correctly because I don't understand what happens with the tiny new node I didn't cut. We will see. #1 got LST'd: With LST, I maybe should have done it sooner. The issue is the leaves are wide enough that they would be touching the soil if I really bent it like I was planning. I even undid it and tried the other direction just to see that it was even wider across. I propped a leaf on the tie and will have to adjust it again tomorrow once the crown has righted itself. I also read that it's not good to keep them in ties once they've gone into flower for autos because it stresses them, but with two plants I had LST'd, removing the ties just resulted in them eventually straightening the stems back out. So I'll not do that again for this one. I'm also a bit obsessive about measuring my plants, and that's harder with LSTing. I have a ribbon tape measure I use to measure the main stem length instead of the actual height of the plant.

The long-awaited harvest should take place within a couple of days. Meanwhile, tomorrow, I'll be transferring the Copycat Genetics grow from the drying tent to the jars. We're currently on day 65 of this Mephisto Grow. I'm beyond thrilled to finally harvest these ladies, especially the ones that have been under the LED lights. Day 43/56: Hi growmies. We are rolling along nicely with the flowering period of these Expert ladies. The Mimosa Lemon continues to look huge from a distance but like any political party , up close it doesn't have a lot of substance to it. I suppose the Mimosa will prove herself in a few weeks time unlike our political elite !. lol She is a beautiful lemony scent that is a sweet and not acidic aroma. Her flowers are single pods with pistils clearly visible jnstead of the usual melded in sacs pushing the white hairs we are used to seeing I think she will be a very potent lady and base that in how she is raatinf resin and oils so far she will be a pain to trim and dry with her possible finish but would be a perfect candidate for extractions. I have started her on the shogun Dragon force for the next part of their cycle and am hopeful of a good finish with her. Swell weeks ahead !. Glueberry has continued to get her groove on with some very nice sticky and fruity buds buried among the bushy girls frame. I do regret not doing a defol but she was in recovery from the underwatering I had been doing and would have been possibly stunted more She has such a sweet/diesel tune to her now amdnreminds me so much of her gg4 lineage ( personal ,desert island strain by choice.lol) She has a lot of growth within her small frame but getting light below decks is not easy with her bushiness. she will be an interesting yield hopefully. I have also now started their week using the Shogun Dragon force finisher. I do rate this product and their whole range and as a user for many years now , I had hoped they would sponsor a grow with a complete @shogunnutrients run. here's hoping!!!. lol The Dragon force will replace their normal feed for a week. it provides a boost to the usual slowing down period at the flowering cycles near end point. When fade out begins to show , it can re invigorate them with balanced ratios that this part of the cycle needs and stop the plant decimating her stores and power plant, fan leaves . There is nothing I find less attractive than a "2 week flushed" plant that really needed the green chlorophyll to help finish the push to survive. It can miss the beneficial oil and rescue attempt to keep her last flush and hope of survival , alive. We adopt many odd techniques that induce major stress at the near end of the cycle in the hope of creating a final push of thc and oil. Things like stem splitting or snapping the mains a few days before harvest to simulate an animal attempting to eat them. This product offers the same without the risk for me. So there we have it this update folks. A good week and only about 20 days to go . fingers crossed I keep mould at bay till then.

Really healthy. I've mixed it up with ripen a bit. I know its only for the last few days, but I'm trying something out, it suits my growing style, I know what it does. So I've lowered the PPM to 480 on this water change, I've cut the bloom down to 1/3 .33 and I've matched ripen ml/ml .33 and to keep some N in the mix I added half of the bloom boosters. So mixing them like this works out a really good NPK ratio. I reckon 2-5-5. I've changed the water, haven't added any H2o2 yet, as it's not needed and it'll only attack my roots, it's been a learning experience with h2o2 but I think I'm getting close to getting a better grips of how bacteria works. I adjust the PH 2-3 times a day, I won't need to today as I've only changed the water so should get 40hrs or so out of it. I'll have to add H2o2 tomorrow. Water temps will jump up to 26c before lights go out tonight. So I should be fine till tomorrow. I haven't had to do much but just keep a eye on the water, watch for slime, I know the smell of rot and root water now, both a foul but rot water is unmistakable. My roots are very weak, I'm afraid to add silica at this point because of what hit my other DWC I do not know. All I know it had silica in the water. So, I've pult back off it and the h2o2 has taken a beaten on my roots. But I'm learning and the degradation is a lot less, and to be able to grow a healthy plant at 27c water is just amazing I think. And I know no hydroguard wouldn't keep the rot away at that temps. The roots are black now just because of the PH + adjuster has turned them that way but they are healthy and so is the plant. She has her old wounds of course and I could get rid of all them leafs to show a 100% healthy looking plant but if I were to do that, I'd have to remove 20% of the leafs and the top is already very thin on leaf growth. Just going to keep a close eye on her and try get her over the next 20days. The buds are getting so heavy branches are having real trouble keeping themselves up. I've had to keep tucking them behind stronger nodes. The buds aren't big and have long colas like my soil mainline but these buds are smaller but still big stand alone buds that are rock hard and have very little trim. She's extremely frosty. I had a little taste of her, she was sadly very disappointing. DWC definitely needs to be cleaned. All I could taste was nutrients. Very hard to get a taste of the weed, that I know is there, I got super high of it, but was super harsh, I know chemical cough when I smoke it. La cantidad de agua cada 48h entre riegos. Esta semana añadimos nutrientes de la gama Agrobeta. Las plantas están bastante bien subió algo la temperatura esta semana pero por el momento no les afectó, a ver si consigo bajar un poco la temperatura estas próximas semanas y acabamos todo bien. Me pasé de mano con la comida pero solucionaré con agua destilada en un riego. Estas próximas semanas veremos como avanzan y como engordan las flores. Pineapple Express kept stretching this week to just under 4 feet tall. She smells amazingly like freshly cut pineapples. She was stretching past the light and I decided to super crop her and net her down. So far she seems to have dealt well to the damage. I’m hoping it won’t effect my yield too much but I know it will a bit. Bud development seems to be going strong and the top buds don’t appear smaller than the lower ones even after splitting the stem on a few branches. Suspected berry white plant is still extremely indica in type, short, bushy and wide leaves as well. Flowers are beginning to appear and she is finally stretching up a bit. Leaves don’t appear more sativa even in flower. Berry white was the only true indica seed I had in the mix. I still strongly suspect this plant was from berry white (blueberry x white widow) bud I had gotten from a dispensary. Male plant was removed entirely from the grow area. I waited until he had nice pod development and then moved him into a different room. The cold in the unseated room triggered pods to open recently, I was able to cross him with my females by dusting pollen onto a qtip. I’m hoping the entire tent isn’t covered in pollen, I sprayed the tent down with water right after pollinating the marked branches. Pollinated branches are marked with a green plant tie. Hoping to see some seed development in the next week. If the girls are pollinated properly, the male will be chopped and if I need to I will pollinate the girls again.

Even problemen gehad met de ph-waarde, waardoor er waarschijnlijk geen correcte voedingsopname was. Mijn planten werden lichter van kleur en sommige bladeren werden zelfs duidelijk geel tussen de nerven.😕 Ik ga er althans vanuit dat dit het probleem was, aangezien ik eventjes kraantjeswater gaf voor de cal en mag maar dit niet afzuurde. Vandaag testte ik de ph-waarde van het kraantjeswater met mijn nieuwe ph meter en kwam ik uit op 7.2, niet goed voor kokos dus. Ik schakelde meteen weer over naar regenwater, wat met voedingsstoffen in mooi uitkwam op ph 5.8👌 Hopend dat ze zich herstellen, update volgt. De groei gaat gelukkig mooi door!💚 Update 11 mei : 2 planten toonden magnesiumtekort door vorige ph problemen met kapotte meter. Je kan dit nog zien op de foto's tussen de nerven. Intussen kokos aangevuld met kieseriet (magnesium) en geen Epsomzout omdat ik dit een lapmiddel vind en liever op lange termijn werk. Na problemen met de ph en substraat gespoeld te hebben, nu ook weer voeding aan het opbouwen👊 Planten stonden hiervoor buiten in een kas, maar hier kreeg ik de luchtvochtigheid niet onder controle (bleef boven de 80 zitten). Ze zijn nu verhuisd naar hun nieuwe verblijf, mijn schuur waar ik altijd kweekte. Buitenkas was een test, maar is dus geen goede optie👎 Op de foto's en video kan je zien dat ze nu veel beter wonen🌱 Update 14/05 : Eerst laten herstellen van magnesiumtekort. Fimmen + LST gestart. Ik leg mijn planten graag plat💚

The plant Is thriving, the buds are starting to pump up. She's really thirsty and i think this dosage of fertilizer Is perfect. Two weeks from now i will use only the ripen, by now she's brilliant.
