It has been a very uncomfortable week, also known as the "sheep cold". Lots of wind, lots of rain and temperatures down to 5°C at night. I'm glad I built a support frame for the large plants, otherwise a few branches would have broken off. The plants in the pots are doing well, even those planted directly in the garden soil seem to be settling in. There are no pests to speak of. 1st week. Plants all sprouted wed-thursday

Another good week! I fed them once on Monday. A final shot to boost them for finishing up. I am pretty certain they will finish within 2 weeks.I also watered them on Thursday and today (Sunday). I defoliated both plants earlier this week as well. For one, I needed to open the canopy up to help keep the humidity down but, there were a lot of leaves yellowing and turning brown. I was not feeding them correctly... in the sense that I wasn't watering enough in between feeds. There were excess nutrients built up in the soil and I believe that led to the nutrient burn. Also, this was my first and only feed without the Grow Big due to flushing for week 9. I followed the Fox Farm feed schedule... but, I think I needed to understand my plants better! I also believe I stunted these girls! One is about 24" tall and the other is 21" tall. Both on the very low end of the growth chart. Overall, I am very happy!! So much to experience and learn in such a short window of time! I've thoroughly enjoyed this grow! I look forward to the harvest and experiencing all that is to come! One last thing... Anyone use GrowBuddy and any word on what is going on with the current download? I've followed the drama around taking so long and all that (the new hardware soon to be for sale for 2.0)... but, the website now says the software is available for free and working on Macs and Windows.... So, I downloaded it last night and I cannot activate an account. Everything has a greyed over kind of look... So, I assume they took some part of their servers offline... Anyone know if this is accurate and has anyone else activated a new account recently? Thanks for any insight!! Peace!

After 12 weeks of flower this grow is FINALLY over It was a relatively easy grow as far as maintenance and feeding are concerned. Midway through the flowering cycle the smell became very loud and the buds were sticky and frosty. I would definitely grow this again especially since I have around 50 more seeds lol. I didn't add the wet weight of the plants because I never weight wet because it doesn't matter but I will post the dry weight for all of you when they're done drying.

So this was quite the week...I was looking over our set up, and making sure Grandma has everything she needs when she says "it seems to me that we need a vegetation cabinet." Turns out she had all the supplies too. Cracked me up...so I ended up building a nice little veg / drying cabinet. You'll see it in the second Meph run diary, was too busy to get some shots today. 😅 She doubled in size from last week, super happy with the progress. She's under a combo of flouro and LED in the new cabinet and LOVING it. Started ramping in nutrients slow and steady, keeping the c02 around 600-800ppm while I finish up the environmental control in the new cabinet. I realized that Mephy, might be a flight risk...so I made her a pen. 😂 ...also removed any confusion on her breed. Now I have the lights at 100%, and the canopy at about 4’ tall. Water on the weekends mostly, get about 5 days between waterings. Daily checkups on the tent for temps and humidity. Girls are looking happy all around, forming beautiful buds stacked up the stocks. Glad I’ve got more seeds of this strain to play with in the future too after this haul. 🤙

2/22/24 - Day 108 - ok yall harvest is done! I'm exhausted! It took about 3hrs. There were a few things that I will highlight the differences. I have tons of pictures and video to go through. I'll update later...... I'm tired! 2/23/24 - Day 109 - Everything went really well yesterday. I was able to cut the harvest time from 9 hrs last time to 3 hrs this time. Here are some of the details on this. Last time I hung each branch on its own, it took forever to use the twist ties and then to hang each one. This time i used some drying nets. The only problem with the drying nets is for sure there will be one side that is going to be flat..... it's still going to smoke the same and if it saves me 5 hrs. then I'm doing that. LOL I also decided this time not to wet trim the buds before putting them up to dry. I did remove fan leaves that had 0 THC on them, but if there was a leaf sticking from a bud and it had THC on it i left it. That also saved me some time. The bud quality was better this time around, the buds are denser and more compact. I also had almost NO popcorn buds. The last grow I had 2 to 3 ounces in popcorn schwag buds. They were tasty and great but this time around every bud was a legit contender. This could be due to having more space, I used an Auto in the box this time. I thought Autos would be difficult to control in this space limited environment, but it was the exact opposite. It's just as easy if not easier to grow an Auto in this Magic Box. I think its important to note that anything I talk about here is from my own experience, I've purchased everything with my own money and no one pays me for my reviews or details. This is such a labor of LOVE for me. They day I get a job in the Cannabis industry is the day I stop working, at that point it would just be me living my dream having a BLAST!
