Welcome to my Fast Buds sponsored shootout and living organic soil v coco side by side. I also plan to use this grow to my full advantage regarding a few age old nagging questions about methods. I have had a keen interest in L.O.S ( supersoil) since reading a few threads a while back on how amazing and productive it can be. After too much research and procrastinating I had to give it a go. I have been a decades coco/nft grower and recently threw my hat in the rdwc ring too. I have avoided soil due to the overwatering worry ( heavy handed chimp brain !) and the best potting soil/feeds. Catching up on the advances in indoor soil gardening and organics led me too subcools supersoil recipes to name a few but being a town dweller with farms everywhere around me still drew blanks on a lot of the ingredients needed and where the hell I could even begin to get them from. Thankfully , commercial savvy has now made buying it in ready to use and with a full range of beneficial bacteria ect available in amendments from a grow shop here in the uk. ecothrive have realised the potential for us to dive into this medium with all the mixing , measuring and resourcing. I bit the bullet and £150 later I now have 4 x37Litre pots that will be used for as long as I want to feed the soil for without EVER needing nutrients again potentially. The coco has also had charge mixed in to encourage the bennies to colonize there too. I will be using the shogun nutes that I know do the business with coco to compare with for yield , growth and taste. I have 3 seeds each of 4 Fast Buds Strains to use as a control for the grow and am journaling each strain in their own diaries. This statement will be used to start each one as the information is identical at this point but following this I will do them individually. I am now starting their second week since opening the seed packets , straight into soaked and shook root riot cubes and into the heated propagator. They had all showed their heads by end of day 3 and a couple needed helmet surgery to open up without being hindered . I have has them in the prop for a few days but they needed to get settled as they were popping roots out all over the cubes. They have now been in their final pots for 2 days complete and starting their 3rd today at day 8 since planting in cubes. I am impressed with the speed and success of these girls already (12 of 13 germinated) . Well done fast buds. So here we go folks , any comments , ideas ,questions , advice are always welcome and I hope we can have some fun experimenting with defol v non defol , topping v fimming v bending and any other curiosities along the way. Moin moin, und ein knackiges High5 in die Runde die erste Woche ist geschafft die Damen sind in ihren Übergangs Töpfen angekommen und haben sich dort auch schon gut zurecht gefunden sie wachsen wirklich schön und rasant. Habe die Damen zum eintopfen in die rooting töpfe nach Plan von Bio tabs eingesetzt sprich 0.5 gramm mycotrex sind das Loch für die Dame gestreut Dame drauf Erde drüber zum fest setzten und mit einer Lösung aus destiliertem Wasser mit bactrex und orgatrex angegossen ca 330 ml pro lady hatte die ersten Tage das Gefühl irgendwie kommen die lady's nicht, aber an Tag 3 nach dem umtopfen konnte ich jeden Tag Fortschritte sehen. Zu meiner neuen LED Lampe ich hatte die Lampe die ersten 2 tage der vegi zu dicht dran bin mit 40 cm eingestiegen hatte aber das gefühl das sie sehr langsam kommt und sehr dichte nodien bilden wird daher hab ich sie angehoben und siehe da die Abstände werden etwas länger, habe mich jetzt bei 55 cm eingependelt und werde die vegi wohl auch mit 55 cm fahren, handling ist ungefähr so wie bei einer 400 watt ndl/Mh Lampe denke ich mal(fühlt sich zumindest grade so an) aber ich finde das die Damen tatsächlich schöner aussehen unter der LED als unter einer Ndl/Mh Lampe aber um dort genaueres drüber zu sagen werde ich wohl noch ein paar Wochen warten müssen. Ich bin auf jeden Fall zu Frieden mit dem jetzigen Fortschritt und freue mich diesen Grow durch zu ziehen.... day 1 - transplanted her into the end pot now. day 4 - i wanted to spray the soil before watering and i fucked up one leaf in the trigger system of the spray bottle :(((((((( day 5 - started LST training because in dont want to topp her and still stun her in height in the favor of the blue cheese and the trained critical day 6 - i removed the leaf wich i fucked up so the light can give more energy to the very nice promoteable branches that are supported by the LST also

Hello folks Havest Day 64 of flowering ( Life cycle 99 days ) Drying with 62% RH--18/21°C since 10 Days Now everything is in jar and in a week or more, I would add my little boveda pack 62% for a good storage Overall everything went well ! The Moby Dick 1 give me 115g of dry buds The Moby Dick 2 give me 97g A very good weight with 400w, really impressive,and look at these colas😵💪 The taste is good but not my favourite, i dont like the haze aftertaste I think ,1 month curing will improve that 👌 Thanks to all who comment / like either to encourage or give advice GD community are The Best 🙏😻 see you soon guys 😘 Peace Love and Weed00

Great week! Explosive growth was the theme, and over the past 3 days they've gained 4 inches. I was inspired by a few growers on here to do more lst this round, we will see if it pays off or not. Finicky is still doing very well, I would say she's outpacing the other plant at this point. Started my bloom nutrients, and began to wean them off the veg nutes. There are plenty of nodes for buds, but a lot of them haven't shot up yet like some of the main stalks. The right plant was looking a little droopy this morning, realized they were probably an inch too close to the light. Hoping to get another week of stretch out of them, but I could see them shifting into bud production mode soon. Excited to see what's coming up over the next few weeks, stay tuned ladies and gentlemen!

there is a significant increase in growth after bending the upper cola, as compared with the sativa, the WB grows and blooms much faster, very grateful to your advice, everything is clearly illuminated, on the next allotment I think to add some ice and shed everything with cold water, the flavor is very strong, for three days I made leaf clippings on the lower part of the plant, fertilized 2-3 times a week, I try to add less than the specified norm, I don’t feel like leaves, I feel as you can see it’s not very bad, I feel this variety will be closer to the harvest than the neighboring sativa, it pleases, and I feel the harvest will not be bad) Well, we are waiting for 7 weeks, wish me luck)

Strong, grows pretty fast. Beginner friendly strain, easy to maintain. Just make sure to defoliate her often, or it will bush up before you know it!
