We are on auto-cruise right now. Feed and water everyday. Like watching the side root grow. For my first cannabonsi I think I've done well so far. Hope I can keep it up. I'm showing the saucer I made at the start at the grow. That's all you get of it for now until more toward the end of the grow. Had a blast making it.

The grow is going great for my first time however I have made a lot of mistakes up to this point but the Gurlz are still thriving.

The week started off rough because I noticed light stress and what I thought to be a potassium deficiency. The growth was non existant, but after some research I raised my light from 36 - 40" and set the dimmer to level 4. On top of this I dropped the RH from 65 to 60 and once I did this within the next hours I saw the leaves begin to purk back up. This was also my 1st time feeding my plants a compost tea which I made from Green waste compost, bio char, bokashi, fish hydrosolate powder, azomite, langbanite, humic acid, Fish Sh!t, insect frass, and kelp meal. I airated the compost tea in a 5 gallon bucket for 24 hours before drenching the soil with it, and I added some Recharge by Real Growers after the compost tea. Pheno #2 remains a bit smaller in comparison, yet it's catching up with an increase in bud density and trichome development. Pheno #3 stands out with its robust growth and resin-packed buds that are slightly ahead in terms of maturity compared to its siblings. As we approach the harvest, maintaining optimal environmental conditions—consistent humidity and temperature—is more crucial than ever to maximize their potential. Another good week ticked off... No sign of fungus gnats since the daily neem oil and diac...’ earth. Seems to have done the trick but I stay vigilant! All the girls starting to fill out a bit. And getting covered in trichomes. Pics don’t do justice even the stems are covered. The other 2 plants in the grow stretched crazy and a bit later than these. Happily I think they’ve stopped. Nothing exciting planned from here other than a top dress later this week and just watering and an odd compost tea till the finish. Thanks for reading, have a great week 😊

June 12, day 84, not many leaves left to remove from the upper canopy. The Euforia's buds continue to slightly increase in size, but at this point it is mainly ripening. With the greater light penetration some middle/lower buds are also putting on weight. The PPFD is roughly 700 for the canopy so the light close to it's healthy maximum. I noticed two fungus gnats in the tent which is not a big issue this late in the grow. Just to be careful I ran a fertigation cycle with h202 instead of enzymes to kill any larva in the coco. June 14, day 86, uploaded a video of the trichomes to record their development across various buds. June 17, day 89, I removed some more leaves allow more ripening of lower buds. The trichomes are getting about 5-10 percent amber, and the buds are looking pretty ripe overall. I am going to draw down the nutrient EC over the next week, and then prepare the plant for harvest. I am currently guessing the harvest will be around day 100.

Sorry I missed missed several weeks. Gd was not working right, and I choose not to fight it once it rejected any update. She has filled out the tent. I increased the light to 100 percent today. I will likely do some hst to keep buds out of the light. She has been doing great so far this time in a warmer environment. Water only, with a little Thrive YahWhey in the soil drench. Otherwise, a heavy defoliation, as we had a couple of high temp, high humidity days here in the Midwest. There were some worries that the girls could trap moisture. As you can tell from the video that they took the stress very well. 2 more weeks until we start looking for a harvest date. Happy Growing!

We are nearing the finish line! Both ladies look great, and the delicious aroma wafting from the tent brings a smile to my face every time. I think we should finish the run in about two weeks. 🍋🍋🍋

D-70 : At this stage, I'm a bit.... surprised that the Desfrans are not taller thant they are. The smallest one is 35cm wich is really small for a 100% sativa strain. The tallest one is about 56cm, wich is also quiet small I think. If I compare with some other diaries, the tallest one could be in the target if we take into account that I trained them a lot during their first weeks. But the small one is almost the half she should be... There's no sign of deficency, none ! I have 420w @ 50 cm from the top, so it's not because of the light. The container is a 20L smartpot. I simply do not understand. Is it juste because of that phenotype ? Will she grow during the next 7-9 weeks untill she'll recover her late ? I Modified a bit the position of the light so the Lumatek 100w FullSpectrum on the side of the box is really pointed to the "slow" girls. We'll see if it change anything but I really doubt about it... The only lead I have is : Desfran loves HEAT and Light. The 2 smallest are on the coldest side of the box, even if it's not cold at all. But it is the side near the window...

What’s up this is the very start of week five these plants are huge really filling out the screen good. The grow XL really kicked into high gear. Got tons of tops and nodes poking up. Keep folding everything down under the screen and it’s really getting good results. Nutrients are doing great everything has a really nice color. The DWC plant water got a little high on the PPM for a day towards the end of last week so I started to see a little bit of tipp nute burn butt got the water changed out and everything is looking great again. I topped that plant really good and it’s got a really nice round shape trying to get it to fill the whole end of the tent screen. I’m pretty excited about this plant. This will probably be the last week of veg well I know it will everything’s in pre flower pretty heavy. And they have a really strong smell for being where they’re at in their life cycle which is cool! I’ll update again in a few days thanks for stopping by and as always 🍻

26.12.24: I have noticed light stress on my plants. I had moved the lights further away and increased the light intensity to 70%. Unfortunately that created some issues. Namely severe palour of the leaves. To try and rectify the situation, I've dimmed the lights to about 30%, staying at the same distance, about 30 inches away. I measured the par levels, after I did this. They should a reading of anywhere between 40 and 150, at the canopy of the plants. They are all different sizes. This seems to have improved the colouring on all plants. After this evenings watering, I will monitor recovery and increase lighting intensity again slowly. I am also using the light cycle of 21/3, so the plants have many hours more light to absorb, than for example 12/12 or 18/6. I am pleased with the progress, considering all of my mistakes! 29.12.24: So I finally gave LST a shot, it's probably a bit too late, however I really want to get the most of the triploid pheno, and I went a little crazy and LST'd all plants except 2, as they're too small. I did that late last night, this afternoon I was amazed to see the plants turn their leaves back to the light source. I'm glad I overcame my fear of trying it.
