I am absolutely over the moon with excitement to finally be at this stage in my journey with my beautiful cutie pie. How is it growing, my fun(k) loving friends? ***INFO*** For more on my setup, why it was monster cropped, and how I made the canopy, see Germination page and subsequent weeks. They had 48 hrs of darkness, and the time has come to say goodbye to my friends. I thanked them again, spend some time with them, and under the sound of Amazonian shaman's harvest and healing songs (will post link), asked for their gifts, and apologized for taking their lives. I do this while in contact with the plants, touching, smelling them, observing every detail, no thoughts, just in the present moment. I feel emotional as I do this and remember how they were a companion, a source of distraction in a time of worry, sadness, and loss. How they already comforted me and kept me company in a time of painful insights about honesty, commitment, and staying true to myself. I thank them again for their wisdom and gifts, viva Santa Maria, viva Planta Maestra, may the mother of all beings give us healing and protection. And I proceed with the harvest as I visualize my intentions with every cut. Branch by bud laden branch is tenderly untangled from the scrog net, taken with a clean-cut and immediately hung upside down in the grow tent, which will now double as a curing and drying room. We ended up at 246 grams, excluding a shitload of larf and popcorn bud, totaling at 310 grams all in, a first at a gram per watt for me, but for the Zambeza seed competition, I stated we would only weigh the quality bud. Day 24-31 (Day 25) The smell in here is absolutely ridiculous. My last grow didn’t smell even close to this bad in early flower. (Day 27) Stretch is finally all done. #6 in the back is very stout and barely stretched compared to everything else. I doubt it will yield much but I’m excited to see the nice tight colas on it. It seems to be still getting adequate light and raising it up is hard to do with a scrog net so I will just leave it. If it wasn’t getting enough light it would be stretching right? The early frost is really shocking to me. My last indoor round definitely wasn’t this caked and I’ve never had an outdoor plant on this level either. That’s also true in terms of smell too. (Day 29) I’m still debating whether I should feed anything in flower or just leave it. The only deficiency I’m seeing is purple stems from P def which could actually just be from light intensity rather than a lack of P. I’ve done some thinking and I’ve decided to only feed my small plant. What I’m most curious about is if a PK boost will actually make any kind of a difference in flower when it comes to bud size and smokability. So to test this theory I will be top dressing a teaspoon of 0-18-0 bat guano, a tablespoon of 1-4-2 Destiny launch and a half strength watering of 0-0-15 kelp extract. I’m trying to avoid N all together as I just toxed my guinea pig plants with another experimental flowering PK boost that had a very small amount of N in it. This plant in particular actually has very early signs of N def and probably will fade harder than the rest. (Day 31) Shit. Looks like #1 is starting to herm. It’s definitely not environment or light leaks so maybe it’s just genetic or the recent leaching stressed it out too much. Either way, it’s only a single lower branch and I’m prepared to cut her down if I start seeing anymore. I double checked every other budsite but couldn’t find anymore. In my experience true herms usually start pushing bananas out of the main tops and plants like mine can usually be salvaged with little to no seeded bud. But then again it’s day 31, when these things usually start to happen. I’m 50/50 on this one. I will be watching it everyday like a hawk if anymore show up. The breeder I’m using, ‘Jordan of the Island’s’ is notorious for having unstable genetics and this will be the last time I run any of his stuff. The quality is good, certainly better than most European and Dutch genetics I’ve run but I know I could do better where genetics are concerned. I can’t wait to start hunting my archive dosidos x gelato 41 and in house sugarcane.

(alright guys so what happened here was that I started flushing too early and took advise from other canngrower and instantly added again all nutes, that's why I left her a lil longer until week 14 when I started to flush again, we are going to show you very well what we did, since it was our first time we were unsure if flushing at week 11 was alright but then we decided at week 12 that she could stay longer and she did) You might say we wasted some nutes but in terms of reality we did not, because we have a full bottle of 3.7gal mix with flora nova grow and flora nova bloom in the other, measuring ppm always to make sure we got the correct amount, otherwise we add more water or more nutes depending on the plant needs but we never waste away all precious nutes are precious resources, in this part of Latin America is really hard to find anything good, so we got to bring everything from Europe or United States that's why we doing the best we can with the money we got. After adding the nutrients and checking the EC, I ph'd the solution to 6.1 @ 74℉ 11/17- I skipped watering as her pot still had some weight to it and she was 'praying' hard showing no signs of being thirsty. 11/19- Yesterday the Zkittlez Auto still looked perky so I decided to wait another day to water/feed her. I did decide since she's in such a small pot to go ahead and top her today. Her fifth leaf set was just emerging so that is what I removed. Now, she'll not grow quite as tall and will train into a beautiful looking lady!😍👍 Today her leaves were just starting to show signs of drooping and her pot was light so I went ahead and watered/fed her with 0.25g of well water with a base ppm of 100 that I allowed the excess to drain to waste. To the well water I added the following Dutch Pro nutrients: Grow 'A' & 'B' @ 10ml/g, Multi Total @ 7.6 ml/g, Take Root @ 3.8 ml/g, Silica Von Liebig’s Special @ 1.2 ml/g along with Earth Juice's Oily Can @ 5 ml/g to end up with a total 800ppm nutrient solution. After adding the nutrients and checking the EC, I ph'd the solution to 6.1 @ 74℉. 11/21- I skipped watering today as she was still pretty moist (the plastic 'popcorn bucket' doesn't breath like a fabric pot) and I don't want her roots to get too wet so I'll wait until tomorrow and check her again. The Zkittlez Auto reacted really well to her topping and has new shoots emerging from the site . Used royal queen seed fems popped 4 and 3 where successfully. Through veg stage no problems quite sturdy plants growth rate was the same on all round, had abit of nitrogen deficiency. Flower stage everything changed plants started to grow at different weeks and need separate feeds which became annoying, think this was done to pheno types being different. Drying stage: I used this new herb dryer called wedryer for to plants and hung the other in the tent. Wedryer works if you have small yield as can’t fit a lot, drys within a week though but also looses flavour. Have to wet trim bud and then leaves bud flat in one side due to them sitting on the dryer netting. Has fan with carbon filter which stops smells. (But myself prefer hang drying). Used trimbag to finish the buds off love this product and recommend to others to buy.

Very heavy plant hopefully get over 3 once dry bud I just cure half bud and rest leave it to cure after drying too learn whats different and witch better for me will update the weight soon as get dry around 10 days

Hi Gromies, on day 8 I transplanted the seedlings into their final 15 ltr homes & set up the automated watering system, I also started them on low dose nutrients. They are under 200watts of light, which may seem a little to much, however they are sharing the veg tent with a couple of Auto's, & that's why the wattage is that high otherwise I would start them on less & build it up gradually. It doesn't seem to be affecting them, actually the Tropicana cookies seem to really like it. All is going well. The girls just keep on cooking...and things are starting to get really bushy. I'm hoping that we're close to finished on the vertical growth front. Chem Brûlée just keeps getting bigger and bigger, but she seems to be spreading OUT faster than she is growing UP at this point (she's already 56" call). Pineapple Meatball is just a straight up bush. French Macaron is 62" tall and VERY thick on the vegetation front, but not as WIDE as the chem brûlée. 7/13 Sprayed with light neem/castille spray

26.12.24: I have noticed light stress on my plants. I had moved the lights further away and increased the light intensity to 70%. Unfortunately that created some issues. Namely severe palour of the leaves. To try and rectify the situation, I've dimmed the lights to about 30%, staying at the same distance, about 30 inches away. I measured the par levels, after I did this. They should a reading of anywhere between 40 and 150, at the canopy of the plants. They are all different sizes. This seems to have improved the colouring on all plants. After this evenings watering, I will monitor recovery and increase lighting intensity again slowly. I am also using the light cycle of 21/3, so the plants have many hours more light to absorb, than for example 12/12 or 18/6. I am pleased with the progress, considering all of my mistakes! 29.12.24: So I finally gave LST a shot, it's probably a bit too late, however I really want to get the most of the triploid pheno, and I went a little crazy and LST'd all plants except 2, as they're too small. I did that late last night, this afternoon I was amazed to see the plants turn their leaves back to the light source. I'm glad I overcame my fear of trying it.
