This week made a few oopsies . I gave un-ph’d water to one of the plants “moving to fast” . Started defoliation during this week to attempt to redirect plant energy into establishing a full canopy since flowering has initiated. Whilst defoliating I broke a branch that had to be taped to save it. Humidity went out of whack when I stored 4 prepped 5 gal pots for transplant in the tent sooo I’ve got to buy a dehumidifier bc at one point all my plants fell out in a fit . STILL haven’t filled these pots out, & I’m kinda sure/unsure it’s time to re-amend the soil for flowering. I’m conflicting on waiting until beginning/middle of week 7 so I can flush week 11 & 12 . I think that covers it pretty well Week 5 in the 📚 📕 📖.

Harvest day 69 since time switch to 12 / 12 h Hey guys :-) Finally it's time 💚 The lady is done the large leaves have been removed and hung upside down to dry in the dark drying room. You can now stay there for 13-15 days at a temperature of 16-18 degrees and 55-59% humidity. After 13-15 days it is neatly trimmed by hand and placed in jars with boveda packs 62. After 4 weeks Boveda 58% come in and are ready for testing ;-). After everything has been cut cleanly, the last update comes with the smoke report and the finished pictures. Let's get to the plant 💚. she is still branching, so i realized she needed ore space and put her out in a larger 4x4 tent as compare to the orignal 2'x2'. the tent has more cmlights then the single one in the smaller tent - this made the girl start to uptake nutrients such that there is very little drained to waste. i also put a screen to start scroging over her. the screen has large holes, so i think it may require high stress training to move the stems to the next section without breaking them. the data from grow rooms sensors etc gets overwhelming quickly and i can't really keep up. so i created a graphical animation visualizing for the composite garden data from the live garden sensor data. this is fun as things on the dashboard change colors and shape based on the sensor status. it is also interactive as i can also send commands to say control the lights, pump by clicking on them on the animation. . i am still using my doser to mix nutrients and then refill this garden manually. besides the plant response to the increased lighting , all other conditions i can adjust are still similar.

Start of week 3 is going very well. Plants look super healthy and have responded well the some LST. Watering every other day and feeding with FoxFarm Big Bloom twice a week.

Since they're all in flower, one is already thickening up and the smell is getting strong right now. Grassy and sweet. Nice. The other once will still stretch a bit more I guess, so they're getting some more nitrogen for the moment.

The plants are growing at a good rate now and drinking a litre each per day. I feed them by hand and each plant gets 2litres every other day. Didn't do anything else this week other than install the trellis on the last day. This plant is at the back of the timelapse video.

Day 21 After an emergency bare root transplant from a biosolids medium to organic soil, there’s a glimmer of hope for my photoperoiod plants🙏 They got topped and pruned yesterday. a little earlier than I would have liked, but it made sense. Day 23 Transplanted again down to 2 gallon pots to make room for another round I started. I decided to cut the fan leaves, too. These have been pruned and topped down to nothing but the emerging foilage from the 3rd and 4th nodes. My thinking is that the root system is so compromised that the less foliage they have to feed, the better. Fed some General Organics Bio Root 0-1-1 to promote root growth. Light mnist of pH’d water for foilar feeding. Day 25 I think the Bio Root and the shade is doing them good 🤞Time will tell. If these come back strong, I’ll move them into 15 gallon living soil bags.

Week 6 2/9-15 Pink Rozay Auto in flower. On Thursday, 2/13 I did a major defoliation on Pink Rozay. I removed all large fan leaves and any leaves shading bud sites. Initially, I thought this would be my last defoliation, however I have since heard that, 10 they continue to grow new leaves until day 20 of flower and 2 there must be enough foliage on the plant to photosynthesize energy. Well, I hope I left enough leaves for energy to keep bulking up the buds. She is still stretching and now 18 inches. This should have been an indication Not to defoliate severely. Oh darn I add 2 gallons of water to the T700 humidifier daily to keep the VPD in line. The controller is set to flower now. 2/9 & 11 4 gal fed 2 liter each nutrients added at ½ of recommended amount. Making 4 gallons since I have 2 pots of carrots and a Dill in the back. Decided to tie these down rather than the plan to totally fill the scrog net. Reason is i plan on growing some new genetics as I have grown this strain about 6-7 times, as good as it is it’s time for a change.
