As of day 50, the plant is pretty much just putting on flower weight and developing terpenes. It is starting to smell of citrus and blueberries which gives me high hopes for it's final taste. It is also starting to heavily produce trichomes, even on fan leaves and stems. This is beyond any autos I have grown in the past, so I have to give credit to the genetics and the hydroponic grow method. As long as nothing horrible happens in the next few weeks this plant is going to produce a really nice harvest. day 7 Flowering: Hi all . It has been the start of their flowering this week and the initial stages of their stretch period. Time to exploit the burst of growth and set them in position for full light absorbing relaxation. The less stress to get light , the more focus on creating the beauty in flowering hopefully. I took some time to do a clear out of the small scrappy growth low down the stems to focus on the happy growing bud sites higher up. With their shape and size , the flowers would have been within the ball shapes and unable to develop properly. The shape of the plants from the tip spreading is very helpful now. I am able to tuck the really big powerhouse fans , underneath the developing lowers. This supports the lower growth to head higher but also keeps the main stem powered by the very important big fans. As these are autoflowers and able to use the available light through the huge fans , it can only be beneficial to keep them as long as possible while they are not blocking anything. The difference between the strains is noticable more now with the Strawberry Pie wanting to spread her branching more . Tip spreading has kept them smaller but their nature still has them wanting the long node lengths and cluster bud structures as opposed to long donkey di#ks. The other strains have benefited more from it and in particular, the #2 Six Shooter has an amazing amount of hopeful mains all fighting for focus so should be a good example of how tip spreading really works to create productive , squat beasts. Fingers crossed.lol They are still being fed just water with no additional boosts beside the last top dressings. I will be watering again with the biosys tea but they look so happy and green that I wont be adding any other products unless I notice a need. Cal.mag being the exception as I want to avoid the expected deficits from using l.e.d , before it can slow anything down in repair/recovery. The light is covering them all perfectly and with the height still to be lowered after the stretch is done , I know from previous Mars lights, the big solid nugs will appear.... I have used a video to show the past weeks growth rather than the usual pics and hope this will be more interesting than having to scroll pics. I also noticed a few leaf miners among the other plants and suspect we have some migration here too. Not too serious as yet but before it gets too bad , I used a store bought spray ( organic) to hopefully get to grips before they do. Failing this , a good smoke bomb might be used. Flowering day 12 since time change to 12/12 h. Hey everyone ☺️. Once again a wonderful week goes by 😀. It has developed so far and is now slowly starting to develop its flowers :-). As soon as the first forms of buds can be seen (I think in 5-10 days) 2 g GHSC Powder Feeding Bio Bloom per liter of substrate are added. In the third week, 1 g per liter of substrate is added so that it lasts through to the end :-). This week it was poured 3 times with 1 liter each 👍. The entire tent was also cleaned and the electronics checked for functionality. The humidifier was refilled every day and fresh osmosis water was drained into the tank for the coming week ☺️. The plants have all been checked for health and pests 👍. Next week the bamboo sticks are inserted towards the end for support and the lowest shoots are removed so that at the end the energy is not wasted in the lower area 👍. Still going strong,.. smell is amazing one is full purple doesn't really show that much as purple on cam but you can see the difference still,... both really good the purple one is little further ahead than the green one but both are looking good,.. roll on next week 👌

I've increased the feed and light now. I will repot soon . I've pulled the browned leaves from the lower stem and the new growth is slowly turning green . They'll burst into stretch mode once I repot them next week . Hope everyone's grow is going well and the sun is shining on you 🌞

Week 13! I have decided to stagnant harverst her in two parts as there is fresh growth in her lower half that the light cannot reach and the top buds are mature now and at the optimal cloudy trichomes I'm looking for are present. Look at all those trichomes heavy leaf and buds! She is heavy and smelling amazing with hints of fruit and cookies. I will also be flushing her next week! What an amazing journey, coming to an end!

Hey now! This week went pretty well, I did notice my EC of my runoff was getting pretty high on day 65, it got up to about 1.9, and my nutrient solution going in was at 1.6. I ended up mixing a bucket of my normal fertilizer, and hand watering all the places my drip ring wasn't really hitting, and i got the EC back down to about 1.7. I also got a tip from MrJones to setup some type of support for the colas. I ended up tying some 550 (parachute) cord across the top of my tent poles, then I ties little loops around the colas with the same soft cord. I then used wire ties to attach the loops to the 550 cord. I also am slowly reducing my EC, as I believe I only have a couple weeks left. I am also going to be switching from Liquid KoolBloom to Dry KoolBloom at some point later in week 10. If anyone has any experience on the correct timing of this switch to ripening formula, please hit me up! I am still struggling a bit with heat and humidity, and am considering buying another dehumidifier for my next grow. As always, Thank you to everyone for all of your encouragement, support and tips!! July 27: she’s starting to preflower so I’m going with phyto-forcing using a 730 nm light for a few seconds at dusk each night. This puts plant into dark mode two hours faster so it’s like getting two more hours of darkness making it a 26 h day. Good trick, and super easy. July 30: video showing how I make my lazy compost tea. Best plants in four seasons of outdoor growing so it definitely works. A similar commercial product would be Recharge which has molasses, Humic acids and bacteria. Aug 1: plants always look super healthy after a round of compost tea.
