~ FastBuds PAPAYA SHERBET Photoperiod~ Well here we go on another journey together through 'Canna-land' and this one's kinda special... forget that, it's VERY special because this is FastBuds newest surprise for the community, a FEMINIZED PHOTOPERIOD STRAIN!🤯 I was fortunate enough to score these seeds, of which only 1000 were available and can't wait to see what this strain can do! This Papaya Sherbet, according to FastBuds, is a hybrid with a 9-10 weeks flowering period. Sounds like an epic strain and I personally cannot wait for this lady to strut her stuff!😍 ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The Setup: This is going to be an outdoor grow, but I have started the Papaya Sherbet photoperiod indoors as our weather is still a bit too chilly to put a newly sprouted seedling outside (nighttime temp's dipping regularly into the 40's℉). The plan is simple... let her grow inside under a 19/5 light schedule until the nighttime temperatures are in the mid 50's℉, which shouldn't be long. After which, she'll be moved outside and transplanted into the soil which I have already setup and inoculated with beneficial microbes from BioTabs and slow release dry amendments from Gaia Green. Once she's established herself outside she'll be given periodic top dressings of Gaia Green 4-4-4 and 2-8-4 along with worm castings and Compost Tea's. Her grow area is approx. 5'x5' and I have posts and a trellis net set up already for when she gets bigger to aid in training her. Let the fun begin!🤪💚 ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 9/12- Week 5 of flower is upon the FastBuds Papaya Sherbet photoperiod and she's looking like a champ! 9/14- My daily routine of watering, removing dead foliage and checking over the flowers continues. 9/16- The flowers on the Papaya Sherbet are all stacking nicely and are really starting to get super frosty! 9/18- Storms came thru overnight and in the morning I found that the Papaya Sherbet had sustained some damage. Right where the divide was from being topped she split. I quickly mended the split with duct tape and crossed my fingers for luck. I also place a couple more support poles to help support her. With another week of flower behind her, the Papaya Sherbet is looking to be in great shape for the upcoming weeks where she'll be putting on weight! Heya Bud, Hope everyone had a great week, my little plant sure did, there has been a lot of green growth after topping, she's turned into a small bush. I have been a bit under the weather, but I'm trying my best to keep up with LST and topping, I expect another week or two of veg, just to be safe. I don't know this strain at all and I really want to fill my tent, so far it reminds me of my very first plant which had long, dense colas, just like that plant, this one is starting out very short, dense with tight node spacing. Unlike my first plant though, this one is a photo-period and I have hold of the reins, I decided to not add organics to my system this week, trying to hunt down the source of dark gunk that collects around my roots, i think it might be bits of peat from the starter plug, it rinses off easily. My webcam froze a few times and I lost some footage, but you can still see the growth! I have topped her a total of 4 times this week, the goal is an even canopy and I cant allow one branch to take over to much at this stage. Trellis in next week? maybe? who knows, definitely a skirt clean-up in the future, I like it when my ladies can breathe down there. Thanks for stopping by, stay safe and keep growing.

2 weeks and 3 days into flower. Improved air ventilation by moving oscillating fan to the top of the tent, moved extractor fan to the bottom of tent and reversed polarity for more air circulation. LST scrog net applied. AFGOO strain seems to be flowering much quicker than GC strain.

04/09/24. Time to start week 7. Not much to say other than about the girls themselves. I haven’t changed anything other than I think I’ve given them the last feed yesterday. I’m thinking they’ll be done within 2 weeks and I’ve read that it’s best to give water the last 2 weeks. Hope this is the right thing to do. The buds are thickening up and the pistols are getting pretty dark and starting to recede.. well.. on two of the girls that seem the most similar to each other. The middle plants much frostier, smellier, and skinnier buds- with lighter pistols. All are becoming colorful. It’s smelling very spicy with like rotting fruit or something currently. The smells very strong through the house. I don’t think these will be the biggest buds, but they are definitely dense af and lovely and smelly.. oh and sooo sticky wew Guess that’s it until the start of week 8 flower. We’re gettin close! My video for the week won’t load up for some reason. Idk what the problem is. Update: don’t be an idiot and run out of space on your phone. I made space and it uploaded LOL. Derrrrrrr

This black cherry punch is getting some really nice purple in it faster than my last one did. The voodoo juice x platinum hermed this week so moved it to it's own tent. We have 6 plants remaining in the room. I cut out the maxigro this week. They are getting .5 tsp per gallon of maxibloom now. Seems to be keeping everyone happy. Not much to report other than that. Buds seem to be progressing pretty nice.

This is the final week of this girl. She has done well, the colas are big and juicy. Nothing much to say, I'll harvest her this friday. I'll update with my impressions.

🌿🌸 Week 4 Flowering Update! 🌸🌿 We have officially entered week 4 of the flowering phase, a crucial period where things can get a little nerve-wracking. However, I'm happy to share that everything is looking great so far! 🎉 First off, let me express my relief that I haven't encountered any hermaphroditism issues like some unfortunate growers have experienced. I've been extra vigilant in checking my plants for any signs of bananas or seeds, and thankfully, all is going smoothly on that front. Fingers crossed, and let's hope it stays that way. 🤞 Now, let's talk about the progress of these beauties. The plants are thriving, exhibiting vigorous growth and magnificent stretching. 🌱✨ Maintaining the well-being of my plants remains my top priority. They're displaying a healthy thirst, as each plant continues to drink around 2 liters of water every two days. I've been closely monitoring the pH level of the nutrient solution, which has been steady at 6.11. This ensures optimal nutrient uptake and keeps the plants in their prime condition. Moreover, the TDS range is consistently between 1050 and 1150, providing them with the ideal nutrient balance. ⚖️💧 Speaking of the plants, I must mention how amazing they smell! The aroma is becoming more intense with each passing day. Today, I conducted a smell test for the OG and Oreo strains. The OG emitted a super strong smell of OG/Skywalker, while the Oreo strain has a unique and captivating scent that is difficult to describe but absolutely amazing. I can't wait to smoke that one! Tomorrow, I'll do a smell test for the Queen strain as well. 🌿👃🔥 As we progress through this crucial stage, I'll continue to provide the best care possible to ensure a successful harvest. Today (Day 22) marks the last day of foliar feeding with Bud Factor X, an essential step to maximize THC development and quality. Sooo, I'm not sure if I may have shocked and stressed this LSD-25 a bit too early because there's a ton of preflowers and she just had been lacking the growth I've seen when in comparison to my Strawberry Pie Auto. But with that being said, she does look healthy at least

This week we gave them another trim up a tied them down more a today they have bounced back like nothing happened, strong ones they gonna be an so nice an healthy! The Sangria is looking really beautiful, she’s Been flowering for lil over 2 weeks now so we still got a good amount of weeks for her to build a little more but she is already looking amazing, can’t wait for her to be done, smelling delicious! All of the plants have started to flower already minus one of the Lemon Pies. Although indica she is taking her sweet time and growing unbelievably. 2 of the LSD25s have already started showing an amazing amount of black/red/purple colour on their leaves and flowers 💜💚 We have implemented some super cropping trying to prepare her branches for stacking. LsT as usual. Started using the delta 9 on the ladies too, in decreased dosage, keen to see the effect on autos. So far, mighty impressed with the consistency, vigor and resilience of them all. Slight Thrip issue at the beginning of the week, but an immediate Cannacure Foliar spray seems to have fended them off (for now?) Plenty if wonderful smells already filling up the tent, gonna need that carbon filter on the air out ASAP !

Defoliated and in its flowering pot, switched to 12/12 on day 35 she's stretching out nice. Will start feeding from week 7.

Lots of work this week on keeping up on training this week, buts it’s going well! I split a fork when tying her down but the duct tape fix worked great and she didn’t exhibit any stress from it surprisingly :) Each day I tighten the bindings and then defoliate about every other or 3rd day. I keep doing 2 feeds to 1 yucca flush. She now uses 3 gallons to get my saturation and 20% runoff, about every 3 days. When I yucca flush I also foliar feed her to keep things flowing, roughly 1/8-1/4 strength of my food dosage. Foliar feed mix is yucca, kelp, fulvic acid, 1-0-0 Calmag+, and a 14-0-0 ominA. And I fed that every day for 3 days until I watered her again :) Interestingly, 3 days in a row just barely began to give her N toxicity by causing a slight clawing of the mature fan leaves, but no burn in the tip, and day 4 she was flat out again :) so it was right at the edge of useable nutrients IMO. The netting is coming along nicely, lots of weaving going on, refilling the center and spreading the mains out to the corners of the tent. Tried 2 different cloning techniques, one placing them into the peat pellets from Walmart with rooting powder, and the other is a Tupperware container filled with a PH’d weak nutrient solution, and sticking the stalks through the lid into the water. Both techniques have produced roots, peat took longer but are stronger specimens. Tupperware seemed to shock them less but roots are tiny little nodules. Día 88 y penúltimo antes del corte. Ya se aplicó Flawless Finish para un acabado impecable como su nombre lo indica. Siempre prefiero hacer el lavado de raiz solo aplicando agua en las últimas 2 semanas, pero esta vez lo hice aplicando el finalizador y luego los últimos riegos con agua purificada. La verdad es que estoy contento con los resultados de esta nena, que es hermosa por cierto, desprende olores ácidos, cítricos, dulces. Los colores son hermosos y las flores están rebosantes de tricomas, lo que la vuelve muy vistosa. Es todo por ahora, estaré manteniendoles informados en estos últimos días. Buenos humos! 👽
