Ginger Nut Cookies and Aussie music videos week six Thursday 6th feb 2020 Hi Growers well I decided to bite the bullet and attempt some LST and topping , I gently bent it over and tied each branch down to a predrilled hole in the pot with some soft wire. I then topped each node that was showing. If any one has any extra tips or advice on how I should go about my training I would welcome it as I am still learning . This girl is definately showing some Indica dominant characteristics about her and looks nice and healthy. I will continue to train the branches as they grow and tuck fan leaves that block light . Now for the Music Videos ###### This Week I chose two songs from two different Music Videos and two different artists both spreading the message about Reconciliation and land rights for our Indigenous Brothers and sisters here in Australia . This is something I feel is very important and is still a major issue over 200 years later. June 7 - We ordered some new lights last week, they are 240w kingbrite samsung lm310h with uv/ir, 3000k, and meanwell drivers. We setup the new room and moved the girls into there. After a bit of LST and a watering (with nutrients) at roughly 7ph, they were ready to go under the 2 new lights and the same SF-1000 we have been using in this grow. The new room is a 12 ft enclosed trailer. I moved everything from the small tent into this. I put clear poly on the walls, floor and ceiling. I put poly on the shelf I am going to be keeping in there as well. I bought 50ft of 6mm mylar and lined the floors, roof and sides with it. I plan to get some reflective tape to seal everything and to cover the wood. I did not get much of a chance to watch temp's today as they it was later in the evening after all was said and done. The inline fan blowing in air from outside. June 8 - 9 AM i checked the plants, they were at 25.2 and 50% RH. Late through the day I had checked and we had gotten up to around 32 degrees. So I moved the inline fan to the closer vent, hooked up to that, and had the air blowing out of the trailer with the inline fan sucking it from above the lights. I then added oscillating fan and had it blowing air on the left side of the room so it would somewhat circulate once I closed the doors. I then checked at about 9pm and we were at 22 degrees. Definitely noticed a decent amount of growth already. I have the lights on a 22/2 cycle as I was worried about the heat at night time. June 9 - Some great growth from the girls, still having problems controlling the temps in the afternoon. I decided to prop the door open a bit to have a constant breeze throughout the day while I am at work. Decided to do some more LST and also a bit of defoliation. I took about 25% of the leaf's that were blocking the new growth as it was getting a bit bunched up. I was then told the leaf's are almost solar panels for them. So from now on I will be trying to just do some tucking unless needed. The leaf's I removed were most of the damaged leaf's, I am not to sure if that makes much of a difference. I gave them a watering with only water as there is a potential I am getting a bit of a nutrient buildup along with the PH problem. Or potentially the reason for the ph problem is nutrient buildup. After watering with A PH of 7 I got some run off and tested it. The smaller plant gave me a PH of about 5.5 where the bigger one is around 5.0. June 10 - Plants are looking happy and showing tons of growth. Seems to be trying to stretch outwards. Not a ton of sign of PH issues showing so potentially getting it under control. Still a bit of damage to previous leaf's but it is what it is! The last few days I have been leaving the door open a bit in order to keep the temps down. I decided to test something and turn the lights off (automatically) at 11AM and back on at 5PM so light schedule has now changed to 18/6 and it seems I may have figured out the issue. We haven't had lots of sun the last couple days so it hasn't been to hard and I have yet to know if it truly fixed the heat issue for now. (I will be looking into a ac unit as well since it typically gets to around 30-35 around here. June 11 - Pulled some of the branches back down and added a few more LST spots. Seems we have a good amount of growth from the smaller plant out of the 2 topped spots. Unfortunately it looks like I fucked up on the bigger plant and only one of the nodes seems to have new growth. I will continue to monitor that but I think I cut the node to low and also to soon. Other then that, the girls are doing great. They seem to be absolutely loving these new lights. I gave them some nutrient water today as well. roughly 3L each. They seem to be A hell of A lot more thirsty under these new lights. June 12 - The girls are doing great , they are still just doing growing away. Lots of progress everyday. I am going to be getting a go-pro so I can set-up a time-lapse for the rest of this grow. I received my new inline fan, I got A ac infinity CLOUDLINE T4 with the temperature humidity controller. I am going to be having one fan pushing fresh air in and one fan pulling out the hot air. I will be doing that tomorrow since I have to work today. June 13 - I ordered another 50ft of mylar and that showed up today. I have decided to remove the shelf and add another 3+ feet to the grow space. So today I installed more poly, mylar, the ac infinity fan. I have it set-up to pump in air if it gets to warm. I am thinking of switching it to the output that way if it gets to hot or to humid I can have that air pulled out of the trailer. Right now my other inline fan is the outtake and I just have it set on full. Overall I think everything is set-up a bit better and more accessible. I will be putting my 2x2 tent in there at the left of the doors so I can have a veg room when these 2 are in flower. I plan to have 4 in veg and 4 in flower for the next grow. Still waiting on JOTI seeds, ordered 3 weeks ago and still have not been shipped. I will be getting those going the moment they arrive. The girls seem to be happy still, did a bit more LST to try to keep everything even, mainly I'm just pulling down on the spots I already have tie wire on.

Week 5, days 35-38 Ztrawberry 1 pheno & Damn Sour 2 phenos Both strains are on a very different path. Ztrawberry has been in a bigger pot since the start and after been put in an 11L pot. Wow, she has thrived. She's gotten so big. I've actually decided to flip her. Her nodes are grown and she is fully ready to flip and the process of waiting will be short. I gave her the last grow feed a few days ago. Already still having grow mix as she was moved into a solo pot of grow/light/pebbles 40-40-20 from plagron. She's pushing so hard. There is a few ph issues and a few other stuff. No nutrient defs so nothing that would stop her moving to the next phase. Ztrawberry has been put in 12/12. More pics coming soon from week 4 Damn Sour Both phenos have been stuck in a 2L pot and was only transplanted into each 2L pot. Been giving master root and Enzymes + silica for stress. They've only been put in 2L pots a few days ago. 1 was very stressful as I practically had to pull her up with as much of the roots as possible. They are the sane age as Ztrawberry but they had no space. I will uppot them to 9L pots in a few weeks once the root zone has recovered. I really should have left them and uppoted to a bigger pot. But been so long in that pot. They wouldn't have reached out which is what's happened to my 2 lemon photos I kept too long in a 20L hydro pot. Was really as waste of time by the looks of it. I hoping for some good growth this week and planning on topping all the plants for the first time. I'll also be adding a air intake fan and filter this week. This will help maintain levels of CO2 in the tent as well as bring in warm air to help maintain Temps. Also once it's not below zero degrees lol ill connect the intake to draw air from outside which will be cooler. The air intake is coming into the tent from the bottom and then exhausted back out. The air intake will also allow me to turn up my outtake without the issue of negative pressure. I'll also be adding all organic organacide prevention measures this week. The ladies are still coming out of a week where they were over watered. Most of them are looking good, one has dry leaves and not looking hot. I'm thinking she will pull through as there is still new growth daily. Day 15 Feb 15th- No water today. Topped Tahoe OG today. I miss counted nodes and wished I would have waited one more node, but oh well. Day 16 Feb 16th- No water Day 17 Feb 17th- All plants received 30 ML of water directed at the stem as well as a foliar spraying to wet the top of the soil. Added air intake. Humidity set back to 65. Gently bent leaves down to expose undergrowth Day 18 Feb 18th- plants had explosive growth over night 😁. All plants recieved 90 ML of water. Water had Mykos. Gently bent leaves down to expose undergrowth. Day 19 Feb 19th- all plants recieved 1 solo cup full of water. Only one plant had a tiny bit of run off. Plants looking healthy. Day 20 Feb 20th- No water today. Turned on air intake. Turned off humidifier. Day 21 Feb 21st- No water today. Upon inspection at end of light cycle from yesterday saw fungus gnats. I assume it'd from the previous overwater and never letting soil completely dry. Drying soil.. have neem oil ready to go if need. Upon inspection if lights on same or less gnats. Only about 5. Trimmed first leaves and singles from all plants.

This girl is looking Amazing! I am so excited to see what this plant produces. Does anyone have any tips on what I should do with this plant as far as should I defoliate or "lollipop" it? I've never gone this far before in a grow of photoperiod!?

Our Purple Urkle is a great strain, you can see it from the beginning, it is super voracious of fertilizers, always large sun leaves and I have three specimens all super in the photos, for now, see only the one worked with the topping x16 brunches. It is one of those plants that is doing well, I would already promote it but to avoid the risk of speaking too soon, let's see what grass it will give us. We have done our best, Zamnesia has put superb genetics and at B&B we are working to show you the plants in all their possible meanings. This plant like all the other photoperiodic ones has been worked with a topping x16 buds, simply repeating the topping technique without doing anything else than cleaning the leaves from time to time and now the branches that I believe do not give me good flowers at the bottom. The 16 buds are perfectly aligned and it is very regular in growth. The flowering fertilizers have helped us get back into a good balance in a very short time, now we go straight to making big buds. We are still using soil, fertilizers and all the additives recommended by Plagron 100% organic. The plant has been flowering for 3 days, in the diary I leave it indicated as the last week of vegetative growth but let's move on to the flowering fertilizers. We have now moved on to the flowering start program which maintains the same additives Power Roots, Sugar Royal, Pure Zym and adds the flowering stimulant Power Buds. Now the basic fertilizer is now Alga Bloom with which I find myself very very well even more than Alga Grow which sometimes I have to understand well how to dose in some particular cases (topping). Probably will try to prepare the soil with Plagron Super Mix or with the Zamnesia Pellet. I think everything is fine with this little girl, except for the insects' marks, she is beautiful and she is showing more dense coloring, because at night the cold is noticeable, you can even look at red or pink hairs, it is beautiful and begins to smell very rich, like a wood varnish

Over the past week my plants have been growing a lot quicker. I'd say about an inch every night or so. They still have 0 signs of any pests. The only bug I've seen are a rainbow dragonfly, and above is a picture of a ladybird black/orange ladybug. Ladybugs in general are good, this one specifically is actually supposed to mean good fortune. Hopefully this means my plants. This past week I have been giving my plants longer to run their feed - giving them 48 or 72 hours to run through the watering mix - and almost fully dry it out before I feed them again. I also have added the nutrient 'terpinator' 0-0-4 ... This is giving aid to my plants potassium for it's later veg and leading into flowering stages. I will slowly increase the ml of this to around 30 for my three gallon watering pot I use. Slowly increasing the potassium as it begins to enter flowering should make sure the trichome production and buds are juicy and dank! That all for now, excited to come into the later stages!! WOO HOO!
