Still only fed every other day, should've started feeding every day if not twice a day by now. Also regret not trimming up more this week, the lack of defoliation definitely hurt the size and yields of the buds. As a first time grower, it was confusing how the buds would form and how intense the defoliating was needed to be. Learned that doing a heavy stripping on Week 3 of flower is ideal for chunkier nugs. These emerging flowers were super refreshing to see at the time.

Buds getting bigger..

Hey folks, Late update this week due to a big rain store we had last Friday. It called for 5mm of rain which equated to about 3.6L of water for each plant! A bit much for young plants with a small root system, but the good news is that the smart fabric pots did thier job to help dry out the soil. Since our last update, I have topped and defoilaited the damaged leafs from my f$%# up last week. Girls are healthy and show no signs of slowing down. I also started some basic LST with 3D printed plastic clips! They work great and I will be modifying them a bit to provide me more angle selection. If you guys wanna know more about these clips please let me know. Other than rotating the pots and doing some regular maintenance, everything looks good, gnat traps are up and so far there are no signs of them which I credit keeping the topsoil dry. I have not water the plants and it is calling for rain tonight into Thursday, so it seems like mother nature is doing God's works of water my plants for me :). This plant seems to have grown much denser and better than my first plant. I just got the ac infinity ventilation setup with controller 69 for my 2x2, still trying to learn, hopefully grow #3 goes even better. Stay tuned

Amazing week! Starting to smell absolutely Devine! Some cherry funk to cherry funk with a hash back and some with just lighter hashy lind of smell all looking great except one oheno growing funky finger nugs (one of the better smelling phenos tho) Need to clone 4,6,3!

Hey now, this week went pretty well, I did get the second toppings completed on day 39, and then I started LST on new growth on day 41. I have one more topping and I will wait to top at the 3rd node so I can spread her out a bit and try to fill the entire 4X4. After that the final topping will be done on the 1st nodes and spread out a little through LST. I am Still feeding the same, running a 400W MH Bulb 18/6, and feeding the same silica/cal mag/maxi gro. I am probably going to transplant later this week to her final 12.5 Gallon home and give the other plant away to a friend who is super excited to get it. So jetzt habe Ich meine erste Ernte hinter mir. Das Ergebnis hat mich überrascht. Mit so einem kleinen Setup und eigentlich Keine professionelle LED Lampe, Habe ich solches fertig bekommen. Nach dem groben befreien der Blätter habe ich auf der Waage 577 g nass. Ich bin gespannt wie viel es circa trocken sein werden. Ich denke mit 100 g kann ich wohl rechnen. Sobald sie trocken sind werde ich mich noch mal melden.

I dont like how long she need to be ready, but she is a Gorilla, so she can take so many time she want. I mein look how big she is, i love the Master recepi from advanced nutrients.

3/03/2021 - Seeds arrived - I let one seed soak in distilled water for 12 hours. Room temperature. The other seed will go straight into a moist paper towel tomorrow. 3/04/2021 - After 12 hours of soaking I moved the seed to a moist paper towel and put in a ziploc bag. I also started another Seedsman Blueberry seed (didn’t soak it as an experiment). I put the ziploc bags in a warm dark spot. I will check it in 24 hours. 3/5/2021 - The seed I let soak for 12 hours has started to root. I’m going to let the tap root get a little bigger before I transfer it to a rock wool cube. I will check the seeds in 6 hours. Well 6 hours later the non soaked seed broke open and exposed a small tap root. Tomorrow they should be ready for rock wool cubes. 3/6/2021 - Moved the seeds to rock wool cubes. We observed that the seed that did not soak, rather just placed into moist paper towels, had the first sprout. We made sure to put root down first with spout over the top of the rock wool. 3/7/2021 - Both seeds have sprouted and are in the humidity dome. They will continue to grow until I see roots. 3/8/2021 - The sprouts look great! We will let them grow until roots appear from the bottom of the cubes. The 3rd cube in the dome is another Seedsman Blueberry we will be growing as a mother plant for clones. 3/9/2021 - Not really much to report. They seem to have stopped stretching and are taking shape nicely. I will continue to keep them in the humidity dome until they root out of the bottom. 3/10/2021 - Today all 3 seedlings had roots showing in the rock wool. I transplanted each one into solo cups filled with Fox Farm Happy Frog. I noticed the cubes were soaked and over watered. The soil will dry it out and I will start feeding them Fox Farm Big Bloom.

Starting week 5 by flipping to 12/12 (9th June) - Hairs popped on the 11th Removing my nitrogen nutes and replacing them with pk13/14 which I will continue until week 6/7 of flower. Im hesitant to defoliate too hard right now but will do so gently over the next week. Everything else is just perfect - super healthy, with the occasional nibble from bugs, one of the minor issues with outdoor growing. However, the ladybird eggs have hatched today and they should make their way up the pot(with the help of a little trail of molasses) and go into battle for me. Update 14th - Still looking great, my battalion of ladybird larvae chilled out by their eggs for a couple of days but they were gone this morning and i spotted them patrolling the plant so that's a nice little bonus. Bit more defoliation on the 13th and just continuing to bend and twist the thinner stalks to hardy them up ready to carry the heavy nugs. Been hot in the courtyard the last couple of days, giving her an extra litre of water in the evenings. Watering will be every day from now on, 2-3 litres depending on the temperature.

This was a wild ride. Gave way to many nutrients and I realised this way too late, when lock-ups already started to happen. The buds still look very potent, I just think they had way more in em size/potency wise if the nutrients would've been on point. Not growing auto flowers indoor anymore, but I'll deffo be growing this one outdoors this year! The smell is out of this world, #1 smells like tropical fruit juice, #2 more of a candy-sweetness but definitely tropical. Can't wait for ya'll to grow this one!
