💚 ORION LIQUID NUTRIENTS 💜 This is a clear example of me absolutely underestimating the nutrient need when using only liquid nutrients. The plant, as a result, has really not grown as this in comparison with the 💚ORION F1 ORGANIC DRY AMENDMENTS* 💚 Which has been topped and grown 3 times the size of this one! I topped this plant on the 20.6.25. Here is what I fed this week: 19.6.25: I watered with L of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.1 and containing the following nutrients per 2 litres; ♡ 1/3 Cal-Mag ♡ 1/3 Mega Crop Part B ♡ 1/3 Tsp Mega Crop Part A by Greenleaf Nutrients PH: 6.1 PPM: 891 26.6.25 I gave 2ltrs of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.6 with the following nutrients per 2ltrs; ♡ 2 ml Ecothrive Trace ♡ 1 Tsp Ecothrive Biosys PPM: 811 PH: 6.6 Thanks for stopping by this week 💚✌️🍃😊🌱

Gold Sativa has been growing really fast. I had to take solution out of buckets right before update here. Was causing over watering issues with roots growing so fast. So providing more air space between basket, and solution. Should help her perk up a little more. This is my first run of photoperiods in DWC. I think I got most major issues resolved. D16 : So far, the weather is really cloudy for the month of June and the plants stretched due to the lack of light. Since this is their final pots I decided to add a bit of soil around the stem to stabilize them. So far, it works pretty well. To test their stability, I've tried to blow on the plant before and after and the difference was clear! The weather was bad this week but knowing that, the plants grew pretty well. Probably looking at next week for a tentative flush and harvest. Some leaves starting to yellow from maturation, and pistils are getting to where they need to be, with some new white ones still being thrown up on both plants. The smell is strong and exquisite, pungent and sweet. Resin production also looks to be coming along nicely, covering leaves alongside frosty trichomes. Quite a few buds and whole branches have that snow covered look that can’t be beat. Won’t be able to hand water this week so leaving it to the auto waterer with reduced nute concentration. Cheers

6/17 - Watered today. 5 days since last watering. Made sure to add water slowly to the cups, as the medium I'm using is a coco/peat based medium, and I realize that peat becomes hydrophobic when it dries out, and the top was close to that. By watering pretty slow, it allows more of it to be absorbed vs just running through. Both Dreamcatcher plants have 2 nodes developed and are starting on their third nodes (slightly behind the Chinook Haze also being grown in the tent). 6/18 - I watered yesterday, then life hit, and the plants were without lights for just over 24 hours. Looks like the newer area started to yellow a bit, which I assume will green again within a day or two now that the lights are back on. 6/19 - Plants are looking good to me. There seems to be a lot less vein swelling, so it appears the chance of overwatering that looked like it was coming on a week ago is subsiding. Got to let them grow some more before I start to chop them up in an attempt to mainline. 6/21 - Plants will be watered tomorrow. Other than that, it is just slowly moving along, and I am considering going to 1g pots soon. I believe I am going to try to go from solo cup to 1g to 5g this time, and I think that by doing so, I might not need to fertilize at all during veg at least. I figure if I can get 3-4 weeks out of the solo cup, then similar out of a 1g, by the time I get to 5g, I will be close to 8-12 weeks, and close to flipping time. I have dimmed the lights a bit, and raised them close to 35" above the 2 Dreamcatcher plants in hope to induce a little stretch between nodes, but they still seem to be growing fairly compact. 6/22 - Watered the plants today. Could have probably waited another day, but I figure 5 days between watering was enough, and the cups did feel pretty light.

Week 15 - August 09, 2020 -Day 99 08/09: We’re almost at the end. I gave Aaliyah her first watering with plain water. I’m planning on chopping the top colas off of her in a week. Hopefully I can get something out of the lower growth that isn’t getting any light right now. Alexis is coming down in two and Annie in three. Annie has some damage due to the light, but she is hanging in there. Alexis looks the healthiest overall. She stayed pretty compact, so light is still able to reach her lower parts. I think I could’ve had a better grow overall if I would have stuck with using only 3-gallon pots. [General notes: The nutrients on the diary are based off what I’m giving Aaliyah. Alexis is on the previous weeks schedule and Annie in the schedule from two weeks ago.]

Week 6 of veg in the books and I’m rather disappointed with this strain overall. Recovery time on the topping was terrible (if they recovered at all), internodal spacing is extremely stretchy which isn’t at all lending to more pronounced side branching. On top of that they just aren’t growing quickly at all. The fan leaves are massive and the bud sites are very limited. None of them have even begun to show vegetative maturity. Well still take the run to flower but I don’t expect to take this batch of F1 seed any further with these types of characteristics. If the bud is anything short of straight 🔥, I’ll pitch the whole lot of seeds as simply unworthy. Oh well. It was still worth a shot… no deficiencies or issues - just a shitty genetic at this point.

This week saw an increase in flower sites and the start of the bud formation. Really good to see her take her strides. I have been mixing GHE Flora coco series and following dosage for 15L but using 20L of water so almost 3/4 of recommended dose and found that it was dialing in nicely. Included calmag from GHE starting this week to give extra dose of calmag since growing under LED lights.

Another week is over. I've been a bit short on time and this week has been really busy, but here we go... it seems to be fine, except for some of the leaves looking a bit burnt and yellow, probably due to the increased nutrient load in the last few weeks. They've been eating a lot and the smell is really delicious. Happy growing! 🌱🌱🌿

Day 28 Today marks Day 28 since germination and, critically, we are now firmly in the early to mid-flowering phase. The vegetative "stretch" is likely complete or winding down, and the plant is transitioning its energy almost entirely to flower production.
