Week#2 flo 💚

Well guys it's week 8.. I think lol. I'm 100% certain (Not really) that I took clones from 2 different mothers again... like a real cotton-headed ninny muggins. I'm at a loss when it comes to harvesting early what seems to be done, waiting, and how to do it all with flushing. So any help in that practical aspect would be dope. I'm really excited to be rolling out of this one, to be honest. with all the mothers big and clone ready I can finally just ease back into something more beginner level, shorter, whatever you wanna call it haha. The plants all look healthy though. I don't think I really made any big nutrient mistakes. I used LST to get those big colas away from the light and they seem to be fattening nicely making me wonder if I should just leave everything for 2 or 3 more weeks. I decided to throw a PK booster in there. I read online that most in hydro will use it throughout the flower cycle if needed and I was getting weary about the other plants not fattening up. I just keep hearing these things should yield crazy and I'm not seeing it. Then again it has been a bumpy ride. The nutrient change was done on the 14th and the photos are from today. Stay safe yall

Looking really good the Ladys

Getting close to the finish and it’s very pungent smelling it’s hard to pin a nose on her! Still filling out and getting dense towards the end!

Today, I watered both plants and checked the drain pH, which came out at 6.1 for both. Blue Dream is thriving—super vibrant, spreading out nicely, and showing great vigor. BCG, on the other hand, has been slightly droopy since transplanting and isn’t opening up as much. I also noticed that BCG holds onto more water compared to Blue Dream, as there was significantly less runoff despite using the same amount of water. The environment remains stable, with a VPD of 1.0. PPFD is set at 450, with the light positioned 35 cm above the canopy. So far, things are progressing well, and I’ll keep a close eye on BCG’s development over the next few days. Topping is planned for the end of week 2, but if BCG doesn’t recover fully, I might wait until the beginning of week 3 before topping her.

The weather is colder than I expected, plant growth has slowed down :(

This has been a shit show last week with the left side plant getting sick. I let it drink so much down that pH was off and it reacted real quickly to that. I loathe this part of autos. They veg, start a stretch, throw pistils, then they just coast for 2 weeks doing nothing it seems but some slight stretching more , this happened last auto grow. Green Cure cbd auto is looking to be a neat grow. I did some lst today on her and selective defoliation. She has started showing her first pistils. I need to start double watering her in a day. She has been getting dried out. So I will be starting to do thar. Everything is looking great. She looks like she may develop into a nice looking bush. I am curious to see how she turns out. This plant came down after 115 days of life, and 59 days of flower. I enjoyed everything about this plant for the entire grow. It didn't give me any problems with nutrients that were hard to handle. It had minor burns at the tips, but that's usually what I'm looking for in my nutrient levels - right at the limit. The plant became super smelly towards the end. So much so that I got a letter about it 😶. It got even smellier when it was trimming. I'm really looking forward to seeing how these buds will look after drying up. I'm really hoping to see extra dense buds with some heft to them.

Dear diary, Week 5 completed and after a scare last week with magnesium deficiency, we were able to get it sorted and continue the mainlining. 🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀 ⏰ Day 32: Gave a foliar of calmag water at 3.0ms 6.1ph during light off so it’s more gentle on the leaves followed by a regular feeding at 1.46ms 6.1ph. Still seeing some deteriorating continuing on lower leaves, so will get epsom salt tomorrow to really target magnesium and increase the calmag with 0.7ml/l in feeds going forward. ⏰ Day 33: Gave a foliar of epsom salt at 6.6g/liter(3.2EC 6.3ph)as lights went off but as I read more my ratios were off and I diluted the solution with 50% regular water. Regular feeding at 1.45ms 6.2ph was given at lights on. When inspecting the girls a few hours later they look a lot healthier already, so clearly magnesium was the issue. Will give them today to recover and if everything keeps looking good by tomorrow, I will do the next topping. If so I will have lost 5 days of progress due to the deficiency, but that’s the upside with photos I guess vs autos. ⏰ Day 34: Another foliar of epsom salt applied and feeding of 1.5l each at 1.56ms 5.8ph. A few hours later topping nr 2 done making it 4 tops each now and stripped the remaining growth. ⏰ Day 35: Did a quick check before lights off and they are praying and looking good considering the topping. Then I did a regular feeding at 1.56ms 5.5ph when lights went on. Still looking good and no continued signs of the magnesium issue. ⏰ Day 36: Regular feeding at 1.56ms 5.6ph. Girls are looking healthy and enough has grown out that I can start tying down the 4 new mains. Will probably top them again in 1-2 days if everything progresses nicely. ⏰ Day 37: Foilar of epsom given just as lights turned off followed by regular feeding at 1.61ms 5.8ph when lights turned back on. ⏰ Day 38: Regular feeding at 1.61ms 5.9ph. Topping nr 3 was also done bringing it to 8 tops each and I will do the 4th and final topping as soon as the nodes have developed a bit more. In terms of height it’s worth mentioning that one of the branches of G.C #2 escaped her binds so one of the sides is 18cm while the other matches the others in the tent more at 14cm.
