13.06. Wedding Cake 1# Day 49# The plant is at the end of the seventh week, it is making excellent progress. I don't want to spoil it and speak in advance, but I think she will be a monster, but just let her be healthy! Wedding Cake 2# Day 43# Unlike the first one, this one has only entered the seventh week, it is in 3 times smaller pot and the soil is not even close to the quality like in the first one, so I am satisfied with the progress of the second one as well! 5 nights ago there was a strong storm, the morning after the storm when I came to the site, I found some plants crooked, some normal, but there were no broken ones, thank God, but they were very stressed and what you can see in the pictures appeared on the leaves, some leaves were crispy at the edges, but still green, mostly shoots before the newest ones. I haven't had this problem before, I researched a bit on the internet and came to the conclusion that the wind burned them, and I also turned to GW for an opinion, two characters confirmed my opinion. Two days later I noticed that the matter was getting worse and that it was spreading, which worried me, so I contacted GW again for an opinion. Some told me that it was mold, some that it was an infection, disease and so on, mostly guesswork, but no one specifically told me what was certain, so I decided on nim oil, and whatever it is, I guess the problem should be solved. According to some leaves, I would say that insects might be the problem, but I really don't know, I haven't had similar problems before. I regulate the ph of the plants, I still don't feed them, there is food in the ground for another week, except for the fact that I added cal-mag after that storm when I watered them. I want to say that the plants are certainly not locked, and the heat is not yet so high that this would happen from the same, the more the temperatures have dropped and now it is perfect. Since transplanting, I have watered the plants only 2 times. Yesterday morning they were topped for the second time, only the main branches, I will do the next topping of the side branches. Last night I sprayed the plants with neem oil and already today the problem seems to be going away, if I tripped at least it doesn't spread further, that's for sure. I didn't mix the oil very well, I didn't add any soap or anything like that because I wouldn't really spray the plants with any chemicals, and on some of the leaves on one or two plants there is that thick, brownish liquid, so I hope it won't hurt them, I noticed that today during the day, I couldn't see it at night. I still don't know what the problem is, but my guess is still that the wind burned them or some insects. Speaking of insects, I think I noticed thrips on one plant on the underside of the leaf, so in addition to the neem oil I already gave, I also ordered SMC, so I will spray that at least once a week while they are still young. Once again, this week starts where the former one ended. With the exception of all the cables you can see in the first picture. I dared to install a minimalized version of the Raspi control only controlling the self-built humidifier and one blower/fan combination. I was very pleased to see how easily the simple diffusor can hold optimum VPD as long as temperatures are high and humidity tends to fall below optimum VPD. A single 10 seconds evaporation can hold the level for about 2–3 minutes. I am not pleased to see the Monsanto blowers rather underperform. It’s impossible to reduce humidity or temperature with both running on full speed, while a lifting of the tent door will bring immediate changes. With the Raspi/Arduino success so far*, I am thinking about using old Power Mac fans which are WCM controllable and use 12 V. At least one to increase air intake, and maybe even the blowers. * It wasn’t any problem at all to have the Arduino collect CO2 and soil moisture data, so after some more cable manufacturing (aka helpless soldering), I could extend the Raspi control. I’m still uncertain about the camera module (@trelorny impressed me with his time lapse videos). I don’t want to put the hardware into the tent with its not so electronics friendly climate, already risking some rare outages of the temp/hum sensor. But the camera module cannot be placed far away. So maybe I’ll use the 3A model I own as a spare part as a camera driver. Any maybe, if it works, invest in a better camera module. Mine is generation 1. Oh, and the ladies! Gave them slightly fertilised water yesterday, and even it or the better VPD yesterday or a combination of both make me believe bud growth is a bit more visible today. The smell in the morning when I open the tent to release accumulated humidity is outstanding. They were already thirsty on day 57 again, so pure RO + a bit of tap water until it spilled out of their pot’s bottoms. Many fan leaves turning autumnally now, and the smallest Sherbet suffered a bit from over-fertilisation as I wrote. But it this stage I don’t go for leaf beauty anymore. Just another learning: Don’t use differently sized pots anymore. Hard to feed them individually this way. VPD was mostly in best range yesterday, and I have the feeling it really supports their bud growth. I added an "Evening time" option to my Raspi control that allows the humidity to sink a selected time before lights shut down. That made it possible to have humidity in best range for most of the night time too. They were even dry again on day 58 morning. Another time just water. The blowers cannot cope with the flowers’ smell anymore, and so sometimes my flat cannot hide who shares it with me. Day 60 presents me with a problem: I’ll leave on Friday for a few days. Considering the microscope pictures are not from the tops buds: Would you say it’s safe to give them another week? Problem solved on day 61. Only clean water from now on, and next week will be their last. You won’t see any new pictures for some days now. Me too … Something I wanted to share with you before I leave: I just finished to update my grow box control with a new PWM fan hat that keeps the Raspi cool, while at the same an infrared sensor can now measure real leaf and additional ambient temperature. Setup is much cleaner and more robust now, but I wish my flux would not make the solder stick to the tip of the machine instead of making it flow and stick at the tiny tiny spots I have to hit …

Harvested at july 6th, week 11 day 1 and 72 days from seed to harvest. One of 7 plants in tent, 5 Alaskans, 1 Blueberry and 1 Lemon. Planted in 5 gallon pot. Height before harvest: 72cm. Trimmed all leafs, left only suggar ones, cutted down and hanged in dark dry-closet for slow-dry method. Maintaining 60% humidity and good air circulation. Then going for cure. After all 5 Alaskans done, I'll write a summary about this grow. ———– July 6th. So 4 girls left in a tent: Alaskan #1, #2, #3 & #5. Alaskan #1 & #5 will be ready in week or so I think. Alaskan #3 in about two weeks. And Alaskan #2... Well, hard to say really 😂 Seems its going to be long run lol, dont even know what to do with it... Cant hold it here forever, I need to empty this space for new run, but in the other hand, you cant just throw it away, thats just aint right... Weel, we gonna see in a few upcoming weeks.

Day 65 : officially 1st day of flush . Changed the reservoir with fresh water and 1.2g/5 gallons of Yucca extract and 5ml/gallon of Cleanex from Botanicare . Day 68- I did some defoliate. Few more days until harvest.

So I planted this girl 2 weeks after my first grow but instead I put this in the garden just to see if it would do any good outside.. it’s done so much better then I ever thought it would with very little care, not been fed that often and sometimes just left to rainfall. I even took it out of the flower bed and potted it during early flower and still she kept going just fine :) bonus plant

5.23 F60 5.27 F65 - Everything has been going well this week. The plants went through a feed cycle that should carry them through flower no problemo. Started with the AACT Tea, then a bokashi drench with Fish Shit from Fishheadfarms and plain water from here on out. They are drinking quite a bit. 1.5-2 gallons a plant every 3ish days. The terps in my tents smell out of this world. The ScrOG and 3x3 are like a candy store. Passion Berry has mango/guava citrus terps while Deadstar v2 has strawberry watermelon terps. The 4x5 is much more varied, but in general the sweet pink dominates with it's grape candy terps and the dread bread cuts through with it stanky gassy lemon while the prayer pupil smells like moth balls and a bit of GMO. Very lucky to get to experience this much variety. 5.29 F67

Commencing week 4: Day 22 on November 14th Day 22-ph'd back to 5.8x range from 5.5 to 6.1 It Day 23- added 5ml Clonex to each buck and ph'd. Ppm around 600-650 Day 24- added a little fertilizer salts for N mostly and then ph'd again. Ppm 750-850. Also turned on a few more lights as well as turned timer off to increase temps in lieu of pending storm. Also adding passive humidifier to at least help with the coming dip in humidity from snow outside. Day 25- pass few days are going well. Aside from a heavy dip in the temp and humidity last night (we have a bit of snow come already). Plants seem to be picking up the pace a little finally. Not much but A little bit which is great because it feels like I've been watching paint dry lol Day 26- plants are doing great. Seem to be happy 😄 despite or maybe because of the changes over pass two days. And..,.we have roots in water!!!!!! So far gorilla zkittlez2 and gorilla zkittlez3 both have a few roots in the nutrient solution. Now I expect growth rate and work to pick up soon. Hopefully the rest get their feet wet soon 💧 Day 28 last day of week 4 Nov 19 Some plants went from seedlings to "hardened off" this week nearly tripling and doubling in size as well as starting with the secondary growth. Some still a little behind. I've noticed all the Gorilla Zkittlez are simply growing much faster then the rest so far. And that out of the three GZ s one seems to be leaving more hybrid or possibly sativa (see pics) . Also one or two of the plants seems to have some funny traits like the Boss Hogg1 very purple and covered in baby hairs. Overall I am amped to see the growth in the coming two weeks and expect big changes 👍👍 Thank you all! who view, like, comment, follow, and support me. Buen crecimiento esta semana. He tenido que doblar las puntas para que no se estiren demasiado. Supongo que la bajada de temperaturas y el aumento de humedad esta semana ha ayudado. He bajado la luz un poco para que penetre por los bajos y he cambiado los nutrientes para que empiecen ya a engordar las flores.💪 Se nota que quieren más alimento, todo lo que le eche se lo comen en 2 días. 😜

110 días en total con 50 días de vegetación y 60 días de floración termina este hermoso y oloroso cultivo!! Contento con la experiencia, sin duda estas plantas mostraron el linaje de sus padres, creo que con menos tiempo de vegetación me hubiese ido mucho mejor, pero feliz ya que estas plantas mostraron un engorde 100% de sus cálices hasta los más bajos y eso me encanta. He terminado esta semana a pura agüita y como se puede ver en la decoloración de las hojas el flawles finish y el lavado de raices ayudaron a que las plantas coman sus reservas, las hojas muestran quemaduras en los bordes por que las mantuve a alta temperatura con la iluminación a tope las últimas 3 semanas. Al fin he terminado y me encantó el resultado Ahora a cosechar!!
