I don't have the dry back timed right yet. I moved my fan to dry the top of the pot surface instead of in the root zone or at the canopy height. After about 10 days I dumped out the rockwool and have replaced with hydroton. My initial though on using rockwool was to give the roots more space during late life stages. My experience has been with hydroton and I notice that the roots eventually get bound because the hydroton is a durable material and will not crush or compact. Rockwool on the other hand will compress when squeezed so I was hoping that in the late life stages the roots would compress the rockwool and make more room in the pots. The issue was dryback. If I used chunks instead of croutons, this may help but the other reason I used them was because I had them here already. If anyone is trying to slow their dryback down, they should consider adding 10% volume of croutons to hold moisture in the medium a bit longer. Notice anything different? They are starting to adapt to their new media. Hopefully by next week I can get them to perk up. One plant has looked better than the other three. I have no idea what these plants need to “perk up”. Possibly a different grower. If a grape terpine wasn’t in the end results I would have culled these long ago. Hopefully they perk up when we get to flower. 3 look ,,,, meh, the fourth is descent. Trimmed all four back down to 12” tall. Flower next week.

Flipped my plants to flower as well so they are now on a 12/12 setting. Been using the medic grows mini sun 2's internal timer in the lights and they appear to be working just fine. They have pre-programmed setting of 12/16/18/20/22 "on" cycles, I thought it might have been hold the dial till the number you want came up but its not that fancy. As of now my photoperiod is from 1:30pm-1:30am but I might move this up to 12pm-12am so when I need to look at my plants I'm not waiting till the afternoon. Its really only an issue on the days I'm working. over all happy with the progress, This seedsman plant I have a feeling would be a good outdoor plant given how space out the nodes are, lots of airflow to prevent bud rot but given its flimsy branches would need a lot of support. Will see if the clones make it. It also has not be drinking as much as the other three, but it is almost a week younger then the rest but they all have filled their pots with roots weeks ago so who knows. Lights still running at 80% with V1 spectrum, will increase to 100% after stretch, don't need to growing into them and burning up. This week I made the decision to remove the ScrOG net because the plant has stunted growing and the leaves were droopy before and after watering . Given the fact she is an indica dominant strain, my approach to training wasn't the best. Also the light intensity has been adjusted to PPFD level of 700. The light schedule is 18/6, so the DLI is about 45, which is the recommended maximum for autoflowers. I will keep my eyes on her, how is she will react.

Its that time of week again for our weekly update. I'm more than sure now that this is a photo seed rather than an auto seed, it's still continously growing rapid and big but no sight of flowering at the moment, I may have to give it another week or 2 before I switch the light to 12/12 to start her flowering stage. But so so pleased with her progress.

Plant has been steadily growing. Picking up pace. Still not as much as I'd like. The uppoting was a bit of a let-down. I was expecting to see much more root development which would of sped the process adapting to her new pot. But, looking at it. I know. I'll have to focus on roots for the next 10 days or so. And then I'm hoping to see much more rapid growth like I was before I uppoted. Week 2 Days 22-28 Days 22 Uppoted to a 9L on Day 22. Was pretty straight forward and easy. Day 23 I removed the 1st fingered leaves/nodes as there was no stress signs so I want her to start pushing the nodes up above once she has her week of root growing. As she won't grow much until she's settled. Added 350ml of Silica/Master root/Enzymes ph'ed to 6.7. Days 24-2 Days 24-26 She's doing well in her new 9L pot. Not craving for food atm. She is only in fresh grow mix a few days. I did add another dose of Enzymes&Master Root ph'ed to 6.7 Days 27-28 D27 She is finally setting into her pot. I added 300ml of Enzymes/Master Root ph'ed to 6.7. I rotated the pot and show the other side of the stronger ppf. Soon I will higher the lux from 13-15 Average I will change it to 18-25. D28 Update: She's showing slight twists in the leaves. Hasn't grown much. I'll wait a few more days. But, if I don't see rapid growth in a few days. I'll have to explore options.
