Week7

It's been a fairly uneventful week in the 5x5. I cut down my Blackberry auto the other day and I've been thinking of getting seeds ready for the stuff I plan to grow outside this summer...With my currents cycle of plants being deep in to flower, I have time to look forward at upcoming projects. The Mimosa cake auto is one of those plants currently deep into flower. She's been giving off a dank smell of earthy/fruity/spicy terps. She is extremely dense and sticky to the touch. I find myself cutting fan leaves off daily due to her busy and stout stature. The only down side I have to her is the fact that she's going to take around 100 days from germination to harvest. Process/ Environment changes: - Turned off one TS1000 after I cut down the Blackberry auto. I did this to try and cool the tent down. Higher temps outside creates an increase I'm ambient air temp in my basement. - Fed Advanced Nutrients Bloom nutes at a rate of 1.5 mL/gal - no longer using a fish tank water heater to heat my water reservoir due to increased ambient air temperatures in basement Trichomes still mostly clear... I'm on day 84 post germination today as I write this.

Die Woche ist ansich gut verlaufen, 2 Pflanzen haben irgendetwas aber ich weiß nicht woran es liegt. Morgen/heute werden alle plants ausgedünnt, und ich werde die beiden Kastenventilatoren rechts und links an den Zelt Wänden gegen oszilierende monky Fans an den Mittel Stangen anbringen, ich spare Platz in der Mittel Reihe den ich brauche. Ich bin sehr zufrieden bisher mal sehen ob ich raus finde was die 2 Pflanzen haben...ansonsten wünsche ich euch eine schöne woche und stay high 😬😁👌 Ach so an Dünge tagen gieße ich immer easy 2L pro Topf. Und dazu von Madame Grow alle 4 bis 7 Tage Flower Karma rauf sprühen das Zeug ist top!👌 The week itself went well, 2 plants have something but I don't know what the reason is. Tomorrow all the plants will be thinned out, and I will put the two box fans on the right and left of the tent walls against oscillating monky fans on the middle poles, I save space in the middle row that I need. I'm very satisfied so far, let's see if I can find out what the 2 plants have... otherwise I wish you a nice week and stay high 😬😁👌 Oh, on fertilizer days I always pour easy 2L per pot. And spray Madame Grow with Flower Karma every 4 to 7 days, the stuff is great!👌😬

It was a tough week though! I didn’t know what to do in terms of training my girls 🌱🌱🌱🌱, this is my first time so I don’t know shit 💩 haha. I decided to manifold these beauties, I did it this morning, it kinda hurt to cut them off 😢 since I watched them grow and all that emotional crap 😅 but fuck it let it all be for the greater good, those 8 colas I’m planning to get per plant will look beautiful in a couple of months! I wanted to ask you all please. What about that hollow stem in one of the plants? I have read that hollow stems could be a deficiency, is that right? How can I correct it? Really hope she continues doing fine and make it through the process!!

Heute ist Tag 28 und den Pflanzen geht es prima. Die MAC#1 hat zur Mimosa etwas aufgeholt und die Tropicana Cookies geht voll aus dem Rohr. Sie scheint schon deutlich weiter in der Entwicklung zu sein und ich bin gespannt, ob sie groß oder schnell fertig wird. Vielleicht ja sogar beides 😅 -------------- An Tag 32 musste ich entlauben, da ich die Triebe nicht einmal mehr von Hand an den Blättern vorbei bekommen habe, ohne etwas zu beschädigen. Dieses mal habe ich mich dazu entschieden, einmal recht radikal zu entlauben, anstatt wie bisher jeden Tag ein bisschen. Ich möchte mir dadurch Zeit und Arbeit sparen und hoffe, dass sie das gut verkraften. Bei der Mimosa bin ich mir da nicht so sicher, da die unter ihrem Blätterpanzer ziemlich klein geblieben ist. Die Äste sind aber sehr dick, also wird sie vermutlich jetzt 2 Tage schmollen und dann nochmal loslegen, hoffe ich jedenfalls 😅

Hi everyone 🤗. Everything is going great 👍. There are no defects or anything unusual :-). Today the Blue Cheese Pheno 1 became the first time rinsed, and now only gets 0.4 Ec water for the next 10 days ca :-). Everyone else needs a while. otherwise there is not much to report this week. Yep, I have been so lazy keeping my diary up to date, life gets in the way sometimes🙄 Im on week 19 or there abouts. So a few things, As of about a week ago, I thought I was close to harvest, I had advice to start harvest when around 60% of the pistils had turned color and curled along with the trichomes becomming cloudy. I cant really get a good look at the trichomes no matter what I try but a couple did appear amber which I was told you can probably get away with a few amber spots, but it is a good indication that its probably a good time to harvest? With that, I thought it be a good time to start flushing, so I started using just clean water to start the process at about week 18. Started getting from what it looked like last time, cal deficiency, so I added cal mag, slowly cleared but now it looks burnt either from nutrients or light🤦‍♂️🏽 4 days ago I noticed a sudden growth spurt with new growths throughout the buds, as you can tell in the pics. So I went back to adding just bud candy in the water..Stupid idea? And now today I have noticed fuzzy white mold and yellow gold spots in the soil. I dont know if it is harmful or a good indication? Should I just harvest it or let it grow further? Some advice would be much appreciated at this point. Other than that, it has been a super long and slow grow and I am so keen for it to be harvested already as you know, it is my first grow after all. Peace✌️😊

Started the flush cycle with straight water. Plants are very frosty and leaves still retain a fair amount of the green color.

*Edit: dry weight and pic added 41.6g on the scales, plus a healthy 15g..... erm... product testing.... ahem! I''ll call it 2oz dry all in. I'm happy with that.* My second Purple haze auto from sensible seeds and again very happy with the plant. I have so many more strains to try, so I may never grow one again, but if I could only grow one strain again, from my short experience this girl would be the one for me. I could have harvested this girl a few weeks ago but I thought I would risk a few more weeks to see how her buds developed. I certainly made the right choice in doing so as these buds just got fatter and fatter. I trained her with a mixture of lst and the now traditional for me super cropping. I have had a shape her due to limited space in the grow cupboard to a more rectangular shape maximise the canopy size for the light. I have shown this in a video on my Bruce Banner #3 diary as Mrs B is being shaped. My biggest buds to date without a doubt. Hitting 200g wet with stems my fingers were aching holding the stems while trimming so they were very bud heavy. probably 50cm tall max from soil to top bud and a canopy space of around 60cm x 40cm available to her. Grown under 3 x £1 / €1 / $1 Standard shop bought LED bulbs (cool white and warm) around 10w each converted..... ...Sorry light companies... I think this a good yield and a proud growing moment personally. I do often say that I will update when I have a dry weight but I don't honestly think I have yet. I will still make the claim don't hold your breath..... *Added root pictures

Ginger Nut Cookies and Aussie music videos week six Thursday 6th feb 2020 Hi Growers well I decided to bite the bullet and attempt some LST and topping , I gently bent it over and tied each branch down to a predrilled hole in the pot with some soft wire. I then topped each node that was showing. If any one has any extra tips or advice on how I should go about my training I would welcome it as I am still learning . This girl is definately showing some Indica dominant characteristics about her and looks nice and healthy. I will continue to train the branches as they grow and tuck fan leaves that block light . Now for the Music Videos ###### This Week I chose two songs from two different Music Videos and two different artists both spreading the message about Reconciliation and land rights for our Indigenous Brothers and sisters here in Australia . This is something I feel is very important and is still a major issue over 200 years later. Song and video number two is from a Group called Midnight Oil and this one is also all about giving back to the Indigenous. And basically giving them the oppurtunity to make decisions for themselves based on their own culture and beliefs and not what the politicians say they should. It grew quick it's an early bloomer. The green buzz were great I kept the ppm lower than I typically do staying around 950 for the crop and 880 for this one. If you like the purple autos this is a good one to start with.
