Week 7 is finished, end is near. This one seems to be finishing up with only a week or two left. Some fade has started and this GG#4 is really colourful! A few nanners have popped up, must be genetics but not to sure what I did to cause them to come out, more than likely to much light. I dimmed the light regardless as the leaves on the tallest cola in the tent were showing signs of stress. So yeah, nanners, probably light stress. Fungus gnats are bugging me for sure, but the plants seem fine. Need to get them under control after this run. Lights are at 20” dimmed to around 65%, hopefully for a measurement of about 650 ppfd. They were at 75%, but plants were showing signs of stress so I dimmed them. Just watering using tap water, not ph’d, through drip on a timer. I drink my water straight from the tap, ph is around 7, and less than 15ppm, good for me, good for my plants. Water is aerated in a 30 gallon reservoir. Hand water once a week with Gaia Green Soluble Seaweed Extract 0-0-17. Light still breaking through canopy in spots. Lots of leaves, but not much bud sites below. No need to remove big leaves yet. También se trasplantaron a su maceta definitiva, en este caso de 7 litros. Tenían algo de shock por el trasplante pero ya fue solucionado. Grow report week 6: The recovery and the training Hello dear growers and growerettes, it’s time for an update on my grow. My plants have completed the sixth week and have grown further. But they also mastered some challenges that I will tell you about. The recovery This week I had to save my plants that suffered from a nutrient deficiency. The reason for this was the combination of osmosis water and BioBizz fertilizer, which the plants did not like. I came across reports on the internet that reported the same problems and switched back to normal tap water. The plants already started to turn yellow and showed signs of a calcium/magnesium deficiency. On the day of realization, I fertilized the ladies with normal tap water, as well as twice a week a mix of water, Acti-Vera and Fish-Mix from BioBizz as a foliar fertilizer. To be on the safe side, I watered two liters per plant today after almost complete drying out of the pots, which is a lot, but I wanted to make sure that the soil is equally well supplied. Since I have fabric pots, I worry less. I believe to recognize that the plants will make it, as their development has improved greatly. The next two weeks will show it. The training This week I continued the low-stress training and bent and tied the plants further. The low-stress training is a method to gently bend and tie the plants to improve the light distribution and air circulation. The goal is to keep the plants low and wide and promote more side branches and flower clusters. The training works very well with the gained experience now. The plants are bent in one week and will then be allowed to come up again. I hope all the work will pay off despite the short weakening of the plants. The outlook I am very satisfied with the result of the sixth week. My plants have recovered well and trained and have shown great growth. I look forward to the next two hopefully healthier weeks. Last week of veg for these ladies. I wanted to get the most out of the bio line feeding and decided to improve the soilfoodweb on a organic way. I think worm castings are the best way to do so. So plagron helped me out and they send a bag my way. Fed them some bio enhancer and added a half liter of mega worm and mixed it into the soil. Defoliated a bit and will add the biobloom next week. I will have new lights soon 4800 evo from mars hydro 2024 version planning to harvest the GDP before switching the lights out. Day 87 swapped the light to the mars hydro 4800 evo 2024 model running 40-50 percent 12-20 inch from cannopies adjusting them slowly to new light and much higher pffd than before
