Hey! Welcome to my next grow. Decided to give autos a swerve for a while for a few reasons. I've had a bad run of germination from my last few attempts. Also some of the plants I have been growing have flowered far too early which would be a huge waste of valuable tent space. Big shoutout and thank you to the team at RQS. James contacted me and asked if I could run one of their strains in my setup. I'm a big big fan of blueberry strains so decided to give the Haze Berry a go! James sent me 5 seeds out along with a sweet box of goodies. To my delight all 5 seeds have germinated in water so all 5 are now in the tent. Seeds in soil today (11.02.19). They will undergo the full Ice Cream Parlour experience meaning topped at the 3rd node. Supplemented with 1200ppm co2. LST and Scrog under the usual Maxibright 315w laps and an extra LED to boost them along mid flower. Keep checking back for updates. I'll be giving this strain my complete attention aiming for a big yeild and quality buds. Update - I put seeds into water on 8.02.19. Moved the sprouted seeds to 20 litre pots on 11.02.19. Now 13.02.19 they have broken the surface of the coco and showing their cotyledons. I will start supplementing 1200ppm Co2 from tomorrow.

Day 42-49 (Day 42) Just watered today but couldn’t go until runoff because I didn’t have enough RO. I forgot to add the probiotic too. Nonetheless, everything is starting to recover from those weird deficiencies and is looking super healthy. Plants are really bushing out now too. I had to top the zkittlez and BBB#3 again as they are just getting too big. Nothing is definitively showing sex yet but I’m seeing clues. Shouldn’t be long now. If I get 4 females or less I will use 10gal pots, 5-7 fem 5gal pots and 8-12 3gal pots. I need to stop overwatering. Even though it doesn’t look too overwatered, it is much better to water a little bit each day at lights on. This will help keep the humidity down as well as deliver optimal oxygen to the roots speeding up plant growth considerably. (Day 45) Gave an EM1 spray down today. The beneficial bacteria is said to overpopulate surfaces so powdery mildew and septoria can’t form. Something seems to be really working as I haven’t seen any yet. (Day 47) I sealed up the tent and am running both dehumidifiers and it’s keeping the RH around a safe 70% night and day which is right on track with VPD. Plants are all looking super healthy. Deficiencies have pretty much all cleared up. Cold nights I’m running 600w and warmer nights I’ll run 400w. I was asking around Instagram about white ash/good burn and a few different people assured me it has to do with mineral content of the soil. I was told the three best products for clean ash is glacial rock dust/basalt, oyster shell flour and langbeinite. I already have langbeinite so I’ll grab the other amendments today and top dress. I grabbed the amendments and also got some Destiny Organics dark matter super soil, coco and some beneficial nematodes. Top dressed each amendment except langbeinite and mulched in some coco coir. (Day 48) My shelf came in today and I think it may be to big for the 4x4 tent. Each square is 12”, not the 11.8” advertised. I could wipe down my flower room and set it up in there which would give my plants a good adjustment to the new lights before I flip. Or I could set it up in the veg tent but that seems like a huge hassle as the need to be moved and flipped soon anyway. I wish they would show sex already so I can toss out the plants I’m not keeping. For flower I am considering starting over fresh with the new Destiny soil and coco mixed with some amendments. I’m concerned that my current mix might be too hot. I could also dilute it with the Destiny/coco mix. Those little bulb mites that came in with the worm castings are a little concerning as well. Some say they are just beneficial composters aka “worm bin mites” and others are telling me they’re predatory bulb mites which destroy crops like garlic. I’m leaning towards beneficial composters but in another grow I watched them devour a seedling before it sprouted. Gotta check the current roots but the plants aren’t quite ready to be transplanted. (Day 49) Got everything in the flower tent wiped down and sprayed with alcohol then EM1 few hours later. Got the shelf set up and got all my temp controls set up and running. I put the controllers outside the tent this time and will patch any light leaks. Gave a lite compost tea at 830ppm and a velokelp foliar spray at 6ml/L. This will be the last veg feeding before I transplant into their final containers on the 31st. BCTG#2 is a confirmed male and I pulled him. No one else is showing definitively. Roots looked super healthy with very few mites but I’m not 100% convinced they’re all clean. I saw a few mites on leaves today too. Saw a bit of droop after the move but they all look happy just a few hours later. Took a few clones from some sucker branches on a few of the blackberries.

After two days to settle in soil I began alternating adding nutrients every other watering.

Looks absolutely awesome. This is my first photoperiod and you can really tell the difference in density and overall quality. She did 35g dry. So I achieved less than 1€/g cost per gram for the frist time! The biggest factor obviously beeing the shorter light cycle compared to the autoflowers I usually run. To save cost it might be smart to give the autos 12/12 as well. I will stick to 18/6 tho. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Set up cost (fixed costs) -Lamp: 40€ -Timer: 3,5€ -Pot: 4€ -Total fixed costs: 47,5€ Given 5 years (or 15 grows) usage time translates to around 3,17€ per grow in materials. Topped for the third time this week. They are really coming on well now. No problems everything is stable and looking good. 3 weeks till flower!!

Ok let’s go! She’s doing so amazing! She’s catching up at such a fast rate! I guess that’s brand new genetics for you plus that added Zamnripper umph combined force lol I trimmed away the lower leaves off her and she loved it appreciated it and boosted up! Dynomyco is obviously doing it’s thing too helping her get to canopy! And with help of the new light TSW2000 from mars hydro it will be a better outcome! I continue to give her a little spray a few times a day only lightly but it helps with the low humidity! I am in 2 minds with the flip! Like do I wait for this to go 4 weeks at least or just go for it so I’ll decide very soon! As that’s in a few days lol so she’ll be 3.5 weeks! So should be alright!

I have hid the diary at this point. I think the plant is diseased. I am gonna start a new one. Gonna keep track of this one till it dies or snaps out of it. She is starting to shoot her first pistils. semana tranquila , aplique la segunda dosis de abamectina para eliminar los huevos que quedaron de una muy pequeña plaga de micro acaros con la que venian los esquejes , aumento la cantidad de agua en riego y dicho sea de paso la segunda aplicacion de abamectina es para acabar con los huevos eclosionados durante los 7 dias posteriores a la primera dosis , la abamectina se obtiene del proceso de fermentacion de la bacteria de suelo Streptomyces avermitilisb y tiene una accion translaminar que quiere decir que penetra la hoja pudiendo llegar al enves de la misma de manera mas facil debido a esto penetra el tejido foliar formando una reserva dentro de la hoja y su vida media es entre dos semanas y dos meses por eso la ultima aplicacion de preferencia es en la preflora , se degrada facilmente por microorganismos y NO SE ACUMULA ... un dato ¡ que tengan buena semaaana y buenos humos¡
