Strawberry Cadillac – STRNG Seeds W9 01/04-10 These strawberry collection gals are growing steady during this early stretch. I gave water only last week to contain the stretch. I also turned the lights down to 80%. Other than Cadillac1 all the plants look the same so I tied ribbons to the pots as identifiers for pictures. Kitties lost interest in my leaves, now is play with the pipe cleaners. I’ll have to tighten them up as I found one on the grow room floor. Strawberry Cadillac -Purple Straw-Trop Cherry-Red Straw-Lectric Lemonade-Yellow. 01/05 Supercrop Last week I indicated I might supercrop Cadillac1 since she is so tall. Well, you will see pics during the process of bending the stem and taping the position. I pinched the stem in my fingertips and rolled it a bit, then bent the stem, (notice the outer casing is not broken) applied tape to the joint to keep the branch from completely bending over. Each side had at least 3 nodes. 1/06 the side nodes on the branches have turned up and made more tops. This week I’ve decided to defoliate a bit, I just hope she doesn’t die bcs of it. Had to get rid of some yellowing bottom leaves as well as big, sun blocking fan leaves! Cloudy weather all week but coming week some nice sunny days are expected again! She has a nice pungent fruity smell which make me wonder if she isn’t the Sweet Tooth haha.

Grown outdoors no nutrients just tap water (about 1Gal/day) on the days with no rain... usually around noon when I can see them sag and the weather forecast doesn't predict rain for the rest of the day. I add Terpinator (30mL/Gal) when I water manually. 2020 was an exceptionally warm summer in Quebec. Seeded on May 20th Sprouted on May 23rd Kept in nursery (watered with tap water + B1 vitamin (3ml/L) until Transplanted outside June 16th No Technique applied, she grows as she feels the needs.

Still looking abit smaller than usual but I think it could just be the genetics. Did the first bit of LST of these girls tonight and hopefully they will respond well and start bushing out letting the dident branches catch up.

It’s been 5 days since my last post, but from here on let’s count it as 7 days—the plants are developing much faster now, so I’ll be sharing updates and videos more often to make it exciting! This week I finally got my hands on Terra Bloom, and today I also introduced PK 13-14 for the first time. I started light, at 2ml per 10L, and I plan to gradually ramp it up over the next few waterings until I reach about 6ml at peak, then taper off and stop before the final flush. The buds are swelling nicely, and overall the plants are thriving. The third plant is still a bit behind the others, but I gave her the same PK 13-14 dosage as an experiment—I want to try new approaches and see how she responds. Really happy with the progress so far, and it’s getting more exciting every day as the flowers start stacking up!😋😋

Late update, ran into some issues with the roots but the end product is still decent. Will make some tweaks next time, the problem was my transplant. I didn’t put the plants down deep enough and the soil was compacted to add. Plants start tipping over and nearly derooted when buds got heavier. Also was using too much nutes, will be switching to coco. Don’t think I used too much, soil just retained a lot of the nutes and water. Hoping coco will solve that issue for me.

Another great week in this tent. She's really starting to smell like herself now. Blueberry muffins. I miss the smell. And now she's beginning to fatten up.
