Fo' Twenny Back with another update on our "GelatO.G" from Seedsman Seeds! 8/24: I did some selective defoliation to help increase light penetration. Next watering will be a flush with 2 tsp/gal of Fox Farm's flush agent SledgeHammer. A flush is recommended after week 3 in the Fox Farm Feeding chart. I figure the recommended flush will do some good considering I have a lot of coco in the mix and there are small amounts of salt fertilizer in my schedule. Everything is growing strong with this lady and she has an abundance of growing shoots. She is stretching nicely with good internodal spacing. She responded well to training and is growing perfectly without too much crowding. The leaves all look very healthy and are a nice shade of green. Based on her look and color now, I am guessing she should get some really nice colors as she fades towards the end of flower. 8/28: Flushed the medium with tap H2O run through 2 KDF filters with 2 tsp/gal of Fox Farm Sledgehammer flushing agent and pH adjusted to 6.2. I started by giving 5 gallons. After checking the PPM of the runoff I ended up adding 5 more gallons mixed to same specifications. 10 gallons total was shared by 3 large flowering photoperiod cultivars and 1 smaller autoflower. She probably ended up with about 3 gallons give or take. I didn't measure how much each plant received. I just kept flushing each and checking runoff until it was under 1600 ppm. I am officially in flush now and they have started to fatten right up! The smell is incredible so strong smells like bud fuel ahahah can not wait for the end result and taste these beauties!

June 14: going good but weather is cool and rainy. Layed a loose Scrog net to keep the fan leaves from shading the growth tips. June 15: weekly foliar spray of Extreme Blend this morning. Looking good with one week to go to the solstice. Big veg growth coming over the next couple weeks with the extended sunlight hours. June 18: rain day. June 20: happy summer solstice. Tropicana Cookies was started a bit late but she’s doing fine. With the long sunlight hours at this time of year she’ll now head into the rapid vegetative growth phase that is so much fun. Expect over an inch per day soon as long as the weather stays warm enough. High of only 16 C tomorrow is a bit cool.

Well, after majorly fucking up the princesses (but hoping one still survived) next in line are 2 North Thunderfuck. I named them Ei and Makoto (iykyk ^^) D1: this time we go the direct-to-pot route. Fuck plugs, fuck everything, we are raising two little fuckers! Hopefully with a better start this time... I swear Ill be patient.... I swear XD Like planned they will spend some time in the kiddie tent with their new light, and then take it over to the grown up tent once there is room over there. Lets go! D3: zzzzz ^^ D4: We have 2 healthy babies! Needed to help Makoto a little shed to her skin (veeeeery carefully with a toothpick). Welcome, girls! Can't wait to see your journey! Another good week of growth has passed, +20cm (+8 inches) and counting I noticed that the 3 plants react different to the darkness at night, one of the 2 tallest is the only one to bend the leaves downwards during the night, while the others keep leaves straight. Plant 1 = 88cm (34") Plant 2 = 86cm (34") Plant 3 = 66cm (26")

topped previous weeks, this week was spent training plants out to get ready to flip to flowering light cycle next week. left platinum yeti number 4 alone it is smallest weakest growth so i'm doing less to it than the training wise.

Howdy, So this is now the first day of week 14, which is 99 days from sprout, 53 days from when I flipped the lights to 12/12. Still maintaining nutrients at the same levels, topping up on alternate days with RO water or Nutrients. Checked the trichomes under the scope yesterday, but forgot to save the video. So will post a video in a couple days time when I check them again. So far it’s looking like they’re about 75% clear, 24.5% cloudy and the other half percent are made up of translucent amber trichomes. I think she’s still got another 2 weeks in her, as I’ve read that people make the mistake of cutting early because they go off breeders flowering type from the day they flip lights when you should do it from the day you see pistols, which for me was about 8 days into 12/12. Really struggling to keep humidity down, so have a 10L per day dehumidifier coming this week to aid me in the last couple weeks to make sure all this hard work wasn’t for nothing! I needed one anyway to use once this lady is hung up to dry. I am still having to cut off about 5-10 buds per week that are burning unfortunately. I am also in the process of building a grow room around the tent, if I can get it finished, that will mean I can give these ladies some more space and finally be able to raise the lights. I think the better quality smoke will be just under the canopy as I have a feeling the lights are frying off the THC faster than the plant can produce it. Hopefully it can recover once I raise the lights... Anyway, waffling over. 🌱

Hello Diary. The second week of flowering is over, so let’s see what it looked like last week. Watermelon Auto reached 61 cm, meaning it began to stagnate in growth. It is nicely branched and wide, it is full of leaves so I will need to do a little cleaning soon. I have yellow-brown spots on the lower leaves and the leaves are totally decaying, since I give her nutrients like her roommates Purple Punch, I’m not sure what the cause is. It could be over feeding, but also a lack of some element. All in all, the “Farm” is now a real jungle, along with Watermelon, there are also her two roommates, Purple Punch, so each of them is fighting for as much light as possible. The humidity in the Box is still lower than I would like, the temperature is good. Let's see what the week looked like: 24/02/2021 - Day 29. Watering. I regulated, that is, lowered the p.H. at 6.4 and put 1 Easy Bloom Tablet, on 7 liters of water. Temp / Humidity on the farm - 24.8 degrees and 42% humidity. 27/02/2021 - Day 32. Watering. I adjusted the p.H to 6.4 and added BioBizz as scheduled for the second week of flowering. Temp / Humidity on the farm - 24.9 degrees and 35% humidity. 02/03/2021 - Day 35. Watering and height measurement. This time I did not add any nutrients but only regulated p.H at 6.3. Height Watermelon Auto - 61 cm. Temp / Humidity on the farm - 25.2 degrees and 39% humidity. Flower week 2 ! She is doing amazing, tallest plant in the tent, she is much happier now with lower water moisture levels. She is growing super fast, every day she puts in weight ! Very happy with this one !

Afterwards, I was a bit worried I took away too much. I had a huge pile of leaves removed. But the girls didn’t bother at all and they grew it all back in just 5 days. LST wasn't necessary anymore, the branches are growing at the same rate and the canopy is relatively flat. After the defoliation session, I raised the light a bit, but the girls are growing fast: 13 cm in 6 days. They’re in the peak of the flowering stretch and slowly, but the first small buds begin to develop at the top of the plants. Maybe another week of serious stretching and then the plants will focus more on bud development. The girls are 57 days old and 14 days into flowering. They’re looking super healthy and vibrant and I am more than ready to see some buds. Happy growing & stay safe!
