I was quite pleased with the amount of bud I got off her and it's smelling fantastic and is very sticky.The trichomes were very milky with a few amber as well. 😍 very easy to grow no fuss and no problems but we'll have to wait and see as to whether she is a good smoke or not . What’s up fellow Growmies! Got another exciting strain from Canuk Seeds... Cement Shoes! Yep, gonna be sleeping with the fishes. Lol First time trying this strain but so far it’s been a breeze. I kinda took a break from documenting my grows because life got a bit hectic for a bit their, but I’m back and got some more great strains lined up for the future. Gonna try and do an outdoor RDWC setup this summer so stay tuned, gonna be some monsters hopefully! I’ve never seen it done really and I have a few ideas...lol but anyway, back the the cement shoes. So I started them awhile back(not exactly sure when) in my smaller tent(3x4) under a single 1200w King LED grow light. They spent about 2 months in this tent in 3 gal DWC buckets until they outgrew the buckets and tent and need to be moved. Up until this point they were kinda just on auto pilot in the background of my other larger tents. But I was planning on reducing my plant count in my larger 4x8 tents so I decided to go from 4 plants per tent to 2 plants per tent, so we needed some big girls to fill these tents. Lol they were topped at 3-4th node and just let them go from there. They ended up being about 3 feet tall above the 1ft tall buckets. Moved them over too one of my bigger 4x8 tents and added a screen very carefully and ScrOG’d them out. Still waiting on my new Eye HPS Bulb so they are still currently under my 1000w MH. I’ll post all the pics I can find in this weeks log from the veg time and they are about 2 weeks into flower now so I’ll snap some flower pics soon and continue from there. So far 2 plants vegged a bit longer are filling the shoes of 4 plants no problem. Having more space means I also have not had to really defoliate at all. Well that’s it so far, stay tuned for more! More calm this week, not a lot of people mention on here that the work load reduces a couple weeks after the big stretch. Not had to do too much except a little bending as she’s still getting a bit too close to the lights again. Most of the fan leaves are off now, that I can reach that is. No more reservoir changes now until it gets the chop, as my nutrients stay fairly consistent for the next 3-5 weeks. At around 950 TDS @ 0.5 or 1900 PPM. Still no nutrient deficiencies, the longest stretch I have gone without at least some spots or marks on leaves. Would be interested to know what you guys think she might yield now she’s just about into her 5th week of flower?

Overall a fun and enjoying flower of the purple sunset. She transitions quickly and stretchs fast. Being an indica hybrid she doesn't get too tall, thus creating strong and sturdy branches to hold her fast dense frosty nugs. During the stretch she loves a good amount of grow notes. Week 2 to 4 she starts getting picky. Once she starts to fade, it is time to drop the grow nutes and go into full bloom early in week 4. This cultivar shows more phenotypical expressions depending on climate and flush. She shows huge purple hues in flush. Allowing her to go into week 9 to 11 can result in almost purple buds. She has a nice term profile in flower and once in the jars. Sweet candy grape 🍇 purple punch notes on the nose and on the pallette when exhaling on the smoke. When trimming this girl she was. Breeze to trim. She got a good 8 to 9 days to dry and was then sweat in the jars. When you smoke Ethos purple sunset the indica really hits you like a train. Taking her down at day 52 was a good choice. The high feels like any of the high once u smoke it. You don't start to notice the stoned effects until you're halfway through a big bowl with your partner. As you guys finish, you notice the body stone take in effect as well the heavy chest and trachea feeling which I LOVE. A sense of happiness and relaxation set in almost immediately. Very enjoyable indica high with great terps. I would give it a 10 but that maybe next run once grow her to week 10 flower. Overall Ethos purple sunset delivers. Fast flowering monster that delivers on extreme levels of frost and terp profiles. Don't believe? Pictures show it all. The girls are hardening up and glazing over with tricombs its looking like all of nine weeks mabe ten before ripe for smoking since she stretched 2 weeks longer than ever before with this strain .finally forming some really nice nugs starting to stink a little has a flower garden sweetness that stinks so good.cant wait yum yum. Found some male parts in popcorn below canopy I got rid of everything below the canopy to keep her female only new pics are 8 weeks and 5 days in flower stil needs to rippen its in full Bloom now so im flushing till she is ready next week or so

Hey now, hope everyone is having a great weekend and staying safe. Another great week for the ladies, as they are now about 2 weeks into flower, and the stretch is winding down. I am still feeding them silica, cal mag, and flower nutrients maxi bloom by GHE. I will start to add a PK booster this week. I also will be switching to light from V1 to F1 sometime this week, and also integrating the UV/IR bar into the light cycle later this week. I will run the UV/IR bar for approximately 30 minutes prior to lights off to get started. The 5X5 is really starting to fill up nicely, I am running two dehumidifiers outside of the tent and I am able to maintain around 50% RH in the tent during lights on, and around 55% RH with lights off. Still very happy with the Spectrum X from Medic Grow. I am running her at 90% in the V1 cycle and will be transitioning to the F1 cycle later this week. Overall, the plants seem very happy and healthy. The temperature and humidity is significantly dropping so that helps keeping the tent cool and not overly humid. This is by far the best time of year to be flowering plants in my region. 🇩🇪 Ich war dann doch neugierig und hab mich dazu entschieden nach einer Woche einen Teil der restlichen Erde und den Rand vom Airpot zu entfernen um mal zu schauen wie sich die Wurzeln in dem Bereich machen. Und tatsächlich mehr oder wenige wie geplant und am Ende durch das verrutschen der Pflanzen oberhalb der Erde auch wie erwartet nicht ganz perfekt aber dennoch bin ich für den ersten Versuch sehr zufrieden. Auch wenn die Wurzel nicht von Fingerspitze zu Fingerspitze geht und sich der Stamm nicht mehr zur Seite sonder mehr nach oben verwachsen hat. Ist sie trotzdem sehr gelungen. Und kann sich die nächste Zeit erstmal wieder erholen und wird nur hier und da in Form gehalten. Happy growing💛✌️ 🇬🇧 I got curious and decided after a week to remove some of the remaining soil and the edge of the Airpot to see how the roots were doing in that area. And indeed, more or less as planned, and in the end, due to the plants shifting above the soil, it wasn't quite perfect, as expected, but I'm still very happy with it for the first attempt. Even though the root doesn't stretch from fingertip to fingertip and the stem has grown upwards instead of sideways, she still turned out very well and can now recover for a while and will only need occasional trimming. Day 36 : I did LST again. I set the lamp approx 26cm away. 600 W LED, 20 hours on 4 hours off the same with ventilation humidity approx 60 percent. Ferlizitaion will continue the same way Monday Wednesday and Friday BioBizz family and Tuesday Thursday and Saturday bat gunao and Epson salt. Water intake 100 ml per day per plant. Day 39: Plants are really nice! Sour Ora ge and Lemon Zkittle started stretching crazily. Critical Orange Punch has nice flowers on it and keeps growing. Sour Stomper started flowering as well. Day 41: Sour Orange, Lemon Zkittle, Critical Orange Punch stretched a lot this week all have pre flowers and Critical Orange Punch has pistils out as well. COP and LZK have some brown spots. Dour Stomper will be very small plant but cute.

Just cut them down. They were a blast to grow! Big ones clones are going to be even better! I will update with a dry weight, and smoke report after 3 week cure.

Wednesday 1/10 start of week 4 haven't watered/fed since 1/6, and plants show no sign of needing water or food, I will be watering them with just pH-balanced water the moment the leaves show signs of thirst(leaves/stems drooping)and hopefully get rid of the yellowing and browning. the yellowing/browning seems to have stopped spreading since last week too, I thought it was nute deficiency but a couple of people on here told me it was nute burn/toxicity, and seems like they were right since it hasn't spread since. the 40 ppm measurement is my water before adding anything to it, some people were confused and thought it was way too low. I'll be measuring the ppm of the water after everything is mixed in the next time I feed them, I'll also be measuring the ppm and pH of the run-off water when the time comes all the plants are growing slow and steady

Been away for more than a week so unfortunately missed week 3 of the diary. During my absence baby girl grew well and became pretty big already, especially considering her state before. Decided to try LST and brought down the top branch. She starts to show couple of white hairs so next week should be the start of flowering. Branch went up well on the next day after tie down. Removed larger leaves blocking the light, baby looks great.

Got the screen in this week and managed to weave the plant into it somewhat Switched to flowering this week and can already see it starting to stretch Cant wait to start seeing some buds

Very happy I went Original Sensible Seeds beens this grow. 🤩 All 3 autos from some special american line, and o boy , they don't disappoint.🔥 Bangers genetics 👏🏻 all trees are good size with super thick stalks. So u know what that mean. Super fat buds. Nice smell. I like it a lot 💚

Day 22 22/07/24 Monday Nothing new to report. Starting to see them beautiful fans appear that's all 😁✌️ Day 23 23/07/24 Tuesday Feed today, giving them straight all nutes Inc flowering nutes. I will update the dose as they grow and develop a bigger hunger. (Not sure what's wrong with Overdose #2, bit mutated, we'll see how she gets on 😅) Video updates 👌💚 Day 26 26/07/24 Friday De-chlorinated watering pH 6 with 5ml calmag to 5L water. Watered each with 250ml and had small run off. I will continue to feed/water with small run offs to help prevent salt build ups. Video update.

Hello dear fellow growers 😎 we are in the 2rd week of flowering and the 2 ladies are doing great! I'm going to start using Biobizz's bio bloom stimulator this week to improve cell division and nutrient uptake, I intentionally don't give too much otherwise the weed gets a very sweet taste (disadvantage of this product if you don't like it) The bloom stretch is almost finished, I reckon with a final height of 1.70m despite Lst since the beginning, the plant was also defoliated below! There are umpteen blossoms on both plants, you only have to look at a small part and you can already see around 20-30 and the thickness of the stems is crazy! Expect huge buds and a good yield 💯💯😎😎😍 HAD NO YELLOW LEAF YET, if a deficiency occurs in the 5th week of flowering, it will no longer be noticed. Unfortunately, I don’t have the opportunity to take the plant out of its home and I don’t want to take pictures in the dark phase because otherwise seeds would arise (stress). But I promise you when the strain is ready comes a detailed report in writing and pictures without pufflicht the two plants are perfect, I had neither a deficiency or a yellow leaf on both plants, the only stress was to top, (lst I do not see as much stress) the two are still growing and many small flower sets were removed below, the leaves but calm.
