We are currently working on the recovery from the initial stem split on plant A. She's almost all the way recovered with only a slight crack still remaining. Hopefully that split and the overwatering won't disrupt or stunt the growth of this lady too much. For the sake of experimenting I pulled off the first set of fan leaves that were stunted and discolored in hopes the energy used by the plant will be directed more towards the new growth. Plant C is looking great and loving the increased Par values from our light as we are getting good vertical growth and the main stem is looking super healthy. As we get through to the end of the week we will start transitioning plant A for LST in the form of tie down. The fan is currently applying pretty good stress to the already week stalk of plant A, but she again is almost 100% closed back up. The whole purpose of the fan is to strengthen the stalk with very light stress. Plant C will see LST beginning in 2 weeks as she is 1 week behind Plant A. Many people ask me about the LL on the guage and I will remind everyone, I live in a high climate desert around the 49th parallel so it's cold and dry. When the tent is closed I usually see rh values near 40% where the normal RH (Relative Humidity) is around 10%. It's just dry here. That said the grow community here and the quality of bud is top shelf as it gets. Rh doesn't necessarily impact the end results. End goal is still 360g harvest out of this tent we will see if we get it.

Hello it's another week of Passion of the Widow! Like I suspected there are 3/10 seedlings that are expressing mutations and or stunted. So I'll be getting rid of the runts (ww 8 and ww3) since I'm looking for a breeding pair I don't want stunted or mutants for the process. The girls are looking good, though I'm getting early pest problems which I just sprayed for earlier (:

Week 7 began! She’s gaining in bud size and smalls already crazy good. Until now I’m really happy with the genetic. She’s doing great and never had the feeling that she couldn’t take the stress. I mean the pod is only 5liters(1.3gallons) large and the conditions are not the best. Great genetic so far.

I purchased these seeds along with 100+ others (individual seeds, not packs) in late 2006 and early 2007 by sending Western Union money orders to the UK in birthday cards along with my seed order. My only recourse was crossing my fingers and hoping that my seeds would eventually arrive. What I found was that the “Buy it Now” option on Seedbay turned out to be pretty reliable. They used to have a Nirvana 4 pack deal for a very reasonable price ($50, I think). European seed producers at the time were very guarded with the lineage in their crosses, but the common thought was that Nirvana was taking known elite Dutch cultivars of the time and breeding them with a Skunk #1 male and producing ‘knock offs’. AK-48 was AK-47xSk1, Blue Mystic = Blueberry x Sk1, Bubblicious = Bubble GumxSk1, Jock Horror = Jack x Sk1. The point being, there ended up being a lot of variation in packs, but also some keepers were there to be found. I did some growing at that time, but ended up buying a ton of seeds that I never used. As a daily user for almost 30 years now, self sufficiency made/makes a lot of sense. A couple years ago I decided to get back into growing my own herb after being disappointed and underwhelmed with the quality of flower from the dispensaries.

This one has the frost, makes me want to bust out the bubble bags and hash her out! Another that's been very simple to grow, easy feeder and not to picky on anything else. Super dense nuggies with that lovely purple hint to them, an ode to her Purple Haze lineage, with a very earthy, almost nutty aroma. Another day or so then I'll swap out the nutes for some flawless finish (10/14) and properly flush her out. I have to bet this one's gonna be an evening indulgence. Please do yourself a favor and visit the HBS site and give Geoff's work a run in your tent, I promise you'll be in awe of his selected crosses from some of the most prestigious breeders out there.

Hi people 🤗 A lot has happened this week 😄 The 3 Blue Cheese and 2 Kosher Tangie Kush which have been in the flowering tent for 1 week have become very bushy 👍 Unfortunately I just noticed that I completely forgot to take pictures of the Blue Cheese Phenotype # 3 🤦‍♂️🏻 The picture will be given later. The rest of the Vegi tent is also progressing very well. They are repotted in 11 liter pots this week, and then come to the flowering chamber die the following week The next week there will be new pictures, until then I wish everyone a nice start into the new week 🙏🏻💪🏻 Let it grow 🍀🌱

Ginger Nut Cookies 23rd Jan 2020 Seems like I got another mutated plant to play with 😬 The top leaf which was the second set to appear is mutated and similiar to one of the Sour diesel autos Im growing which is apparently a polyploid. As you can see in the above pics I removed the weird leaf and I now have two distinct tops rather than the usual one forming. They do say two heads are better than one 😀 Anyway I gave this little ginger nut a weak mix of Superthrive and Seaweed solution plus a tiny bit of Great white Mycorrhizae powder. This will be the first documented grow of anything Ive created thru my "Fuck around experiments" I call them that because I really dont have any plans or goals as far as breeding is concerned other than learning how it is all done. When Australia finally bites the bullet and goes legal I want to have the basic skills needed to create my own seeds for my own use. Basically a strain that is well acclimatised to my environment with maximum potency , flavour and terpene profile. But most importantly for me is a strain that is a IBL and Homozygous, so that I get very similiar results every time I grow it. Anyway Thats enough of my rambling lets get down to the Music part of this weeks update. Sadly Michael hutchence the lead singer of INXS died in an apparent accidental misadventure but some say it was suicide . We'll never know for sure. Here’s the catch-up: Emergency Support Mission - Durban’s weight crisis: Side branches cracked under their own mass – one even split the main stem! - Field fix: Stabilized with 4 stakes + speaker wire (ugly but effective). - Lesson learned: Next run = heavy-duty support before stretch. Strain Check: Durban Poison (African Queen) - Growth style: Less height (expected 2m+), more lateral explosion – new shoots daily make her look like 3 plants in one. - Flower status: White pistils stacking at branch tips. - Smell: Still discreet (neighbor-safe… for now). - Health: Vibrant green – zero stress signs. Blueberry - Surprise stretch: Nearly hit 2m (like a sativa!). Half Durban’s width but elegant. - Stem power: Thicker trunk than Durban – mini-tree status. - Color preview: Purple stems emerging! Buds may follow suit (fingers crossed). - Support needed: Prepping for heavy buds to avoid branch snaps. Care & Environment - Feeding: Pure Bokashi juice (no extras) – they’re thriving on it. - Pests/mold: None spotted. Dry summer helping. - Weather: About 20° C and really high humidity. The bonsai creation is in the very end..... Actually ready but i want more amber trichomes to get more body high than mind one.... Nice little creation... waiting for to be cut I expect to be done in 1 week but trichomes speak.

Both plant 1 and 2 are looking a lot healthier. Started LST with both the autos and it seems to be working well so far. The bigger one has a very strong main stem and is flourishing. The smaller one that I thought I was gonna lose is bouncing back, though at a pretty slow rate. I'll be lucky to get a quarter off that one. I also had a bag seed that I planted before these guys - didn't seem like she was gonna make it, but after I transplanted her to s 5gal pot, she became the healthiest of the bunch. No idea what stain she is, but I don't think she's auto. Works for me -- I'll keep vegging her at least until I harvest the two NLAs and let her grow big and tall :) Let me know your thoughts in the comments below!

This strain loves the nutes that's for sure.The way the main cola is forming ...gna be huge.Sweet asf smelling,gna feed her tmw again, every 2/3 days she needs to eat atm.Cant complain

W10F and the end is near. The bud sites are small and internodes are spaced far apart. I neglected them and let the light intensity get too high during stretch. They are pretty frosty though. Fade has started and they are displaying nice colours
