May 11: wildfire smoke rolled in this morning for the first time this year. Last year was horrible but hopefully this year won’t be as bad. Today was stay inside the house sort of bad smoke but it’s supposed to blow over soon. Hope. Plant looks good and happy in the final container. May 12: took out a couple of small cedars and I have a new sunniest spot in the yard, or at least for the next 12 weeks or so. Today’s sunlight is like what it will be like in early August (6 weeks to solstice). May 16: cool and rainy today but some sun at the end. She’s still doing great, and definitely better than most of my previous starts. I think I had the soil too wet before, or maybe the apple thing actually works. Day 50 Friday 17/05/24 I attempted to try mainline her, failed 😅 But I think I'm learning the fundamentals of this method. She seems to have exploded since I did it. Water today with calmag- Finally seeing her slap them female pistils out, and turn a nice vibrant green on her tops indicating the pre flower/flower stage. Since trying the mainlining and lollipopping, she really has thrown out awesome new growth development. Continually pulling tops back down via lst to encourage an even canopy. Day 56 Day 13 flower 23/05/24 Light water with calmag Wow, this one loves pre flower stress. Her stretch is starting, I've stopped plucking and snipping till required now. The tops are throwing so many bud sites out it's incredible.

2024/05/18 : gave last shot of bio PK yesterday and let plant do its thing alone until the end. Smell is more present with a subtil "wet dog" touch.😅 I'm glad to see first sugar leaves turning purple! While reseting plant after flush, I may have half-broken one of the main colas, it's still alive for now. The height is 50cm so I had to move up LED : thanks to secret jardin system, I still have room with 30cm between lamp and plant. I cranked up DLI to 38~48 : TS1000 is almost at max. As it is, fan leaves are 27°C and colas 28°C : perfect. Leaves that were yellowing are still yellow but it seems there are no new ones : I don't like to see yellow before late flowering. Maybe 20cm was not enough for higher leaves.

Day 49 Plants had a little transplant shock from last week as they didn’t really grew much taller. I’m not 100% satisfied with how the veg stage went so far, but I learned a lot and will do better next time. I attached some gardening wire to some of the branches to create a more even canopy. Haven’t watered since last Saturday (transplant) as the soil is still wet and starts to dry out slowly now. Most likely I’ll flip them into flower in 2 weeks around Day 63. I appreciate every advice 🙏🏾
