We are talking about and showing the second Northern Lights on harvest day, DAY 63, Week 09. Remember we have another plant that is going and we divide them by the other two weeks to distinguish them. This is a beautiful plant, it has resined in an excellent way, it did not seem super productive to me and it has typical Northern Lights leaves. The central flower is nice and plump and really full of resin. The lateral and secondary ones have a slightly airy consistency but that can happen, the other plant has bricks instead of flowers. I arrived a little late with the fertilizers and perhaps I can not make the plant discolor completely but the maturity is there. They both had a three day germination period. This is the first time I’ve ordered seeds online. I was so impressed with the service that I received. The seeds germinated in a plastic container with paper towels in it, three days later I have seedlings. The Northern Lights are not as big as the Cookies at this stage but it still looks pretty good; I’m going to keep an eye on it since it’s still in the fragile stage of development.

Sticky rice is another plant that has been behind most of the other plants th. Whole time. It seems to be coming around now. I hate when all my plants end up having to be harvested at different times. Hopefully this ends up being another fire lit farms plant.

10/21- Flower has begun!! I've been gradually removing growth from under the canopy that I dont anticipate will become sizeable buds. Now we wait for the stretch. Took a few clones to try my hand at that. Air is drying out big time lately. I'm probably going to have to give in and buy a humidifier because it's going to be essential to keep my buds from drying out too fast and keeping these plants in healthy rh range. Despite humidity swings, plants seem to be doing well across the board so I already have a leg up on my last grow. I sprayed for bugs as a precaution. Neem and peppermint Castille soap diluted in water was the choice. Left a residue on my plants though so live been keeping my light between 30-40% and gradually turning up the intensity each day until I reach where I was(70) I dont want to burn my leaves because I have treating for bugs before. I will add pictures this weekend. This is posted on Day one so there's really not too much change to show in the plants. Really excited to see how they develop over the next 2 weeks. 10/24 Added pics of two plants. I accidently deleted my shoot of GZ 2 and I don't feel like taking them out of the tent again because it's a bit of a pain with the net. It's much taller than it's sister and maybe the healthier plant at this point. Moby dick is a bush, very healthy even still. No real signs of flower yet. They do seem to be stretching a bit but when you look everyday it's hard to tell. I'm hoping to have a really nice canopy in a week.

This is week five of vegetative growth and the last week before I switch them to Flowering stage. So far the ABLE Grow Chamber is working as well as I could hope. I am growing three different types of Cannabis - Sapphire OG, GSC and one with unknown strain. The GSC was light burned early on and was very damaged but she pulled thru enough that I can make a clone or two from her. It wakes me happy knowing that the chamber can bring back a sick plant with minimal intervention from me. I have been training Daphni (name for the Sapphire OG) for a Sea of Green method and she is getting really good light penetration. For my Hydroponics I am using a Rain Forest 66 reservoir and it has worked well also. On 9-7-18 I made clones from Daphni in preparation for flowering in about 3 to 5 days.

Drying and curing always the biggest challenge for me due too constant climate change in my area, living near the mountains have its flaws too..🧐 Oh well still love growing..✌️

Day 73: Removed her from higher powered LED light to 100W "equivalent" Ygrow LED lighting. I'm giving her a break from heat, while still getting some of the benefits of my Phlizon 1000 watt "equivalent" that hangs partially over her. She will probably remain here for the rest of her life. :) The past two grows I put under lower light, near the end of their bloom cycles, seemed to get fat fat. Not sure if it's coincidence. She is already fairy thick in dense buds! I have also increased her water this week, as I flush out nutrients prior to harvesting. Day 75: Heavy defoliation.

Throughout the week they’ve been topped, very very minimally defoliated (only fan leaves blocking light at the top) and some LST clips have been placed.

This week all 3 Pheno continue to stretch, which likely will continue through end next week (week 4 flower). Fed girls Recharge prior to defoliation at the end of week. Day and night tent temperatures were constantly between 78F and 65F degrees. Relative humidity a consistent 55%. Using an online calculator found VPD range from day 1.48 (kPa) to 0.95 (kPa) at night. About as closed to optimum as one can get given existing equipment/tools and recent substantial rain in the SoCal region. Due for watering tomorrow, so prior to, I will top dress with worm castings, compost, and Langbeinite 0-0-22. I believe this should carry the 3 through to harvest. Breeder flower time listed is between 56 and 70 days. We are at day 20 flower as of today.
