This was a great grow, learning new plants and genetics, Spliff seed is very solid and you can expect the same consistency each seed. I want to grow them all and see if they all fall into place with their signature work!

12/05/24 Short Facts: Watered: 1 x 2.5L, 1 x 2.4L, 1 x 2.8L, 1 x 2.5 โ€” Total: 10.2L VPD @ 1.4 Light @ 70% (~700 to 950 PPFD) --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Nothing special happened this week. The leaves are looking better, so Iโ€™m now 100% confident that it was a nitrogen deficiency combined with senescence. The buds are also getting a bit bigger now. Maybe Iโ€™ll give her a little more time and harvest her after Christmas. The Blumat Digital Pro Plus is really helpful, making my watering spot-on. Great tool!

I finally found the spray on the leaves according to my ideas! 1. Produces mist with fine droplets 2. works in 360 ยฐ position ... 3. After pressing, it sprays for another 3 seconds. I have not found it in any gardening or growshops ... You can find these spray bottles in a hairdressing shop. Price $ 12, volume 350m!

Day 69: harvested today will update day after day how the drying goes! Day 70: dont have a rh meter hahaha so i hope its not to dry in there. Seems like Day 72: hahahahaha fucked it up today! Had the humidifier on without my controller!!!! So 99%rh in drying tent when I came homeโ€ฆ good job.. Day 74: still drying but had to take my tent down so had to cut the plants as well! So trimmed them to speed the drying up a bit! The buds look really yummy, but doesnโ€™t smell any good yet hope that change in the upcoming days Day 77: the buds just taste better and better ๐Ÿ˜ This is the light that Iโ€™m using for this grow! Mars hydro SP3000 High PPFD at 2.8 umol/j, average yield at 2.5g/w, increasing your yield 50% or more compared with old blurple and HPS lights, 300 watts output. Dimmer knob added, more convenient to adjust the brightness. Up to 30 lights can be daisy-chained and control together on just one light, or just have one lamp in 120x60 tent is perfect for light. https://www.instagram.com/marshydro_aliexpress2/

Very Happy plants, soaking up the rays. When you place your face near the buds you get an amazing sweet fruity aroma, the leaves smell like skunk and cheese. Each plant is getting 10 liters every 4 days. I water with 6.3ph tap water twice for every time I add nutrients. I use Alaska fish fertilizer when its been a few times since a nutrient feed but the plants are showing no deficiency's. They are Fed by a drip system which takes 16 hours to deliver the 10 liters to each plant, this works really well in the Fabric smart pots. I use metal racks to keep the plants off the ground then place a drip tray underneath each plant. When using the drip system very little run off occurs. I added a spider farmer sf-1000 to the room, it is full spectrum and ir, and is great for getting the corners of the room or the less dense areas of the canopy.

3/16 324AM PRETTY GOOD โšก๏ธ 3/16 2:41PM nside the Genetics: How Ice-T & Montelโ€™s Strain Was Born Seedsman Seeds https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q5eMAVat60M 3/19 330AM ๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐Ÿ”ฌโšก๏ธ**Adding L-Proline (the amino acid supplement growers use) to plants on soft water can provide some helpful support against the stresses you're dealing with, but it's not a full fixโ€”think of it as a stress-buffer rather than a mineral replacement.** Soft water (low in calcium and magnesium) often triggers **Ca/Mg deficiencies** in bloom stage (especially with Cha Ching or MaxiBloom, which don't supply much Ca/Mg on their own). This leads to issues like tip burn, leaf curl, weak cell walls, nutrient lockouts, oxidative damage (ROS buildup), and overall plant stress that feels like "the plant is struggling to hold it together." Proline steps in here as an **osmoprotectant**โ€”it's one of the compounds plants naturally ramp up under stress. ### What Proline Actually Does in This Situation - **Helps with osmotic/water balance** โ€” Soft water can disrupt turgor pressure and water movement inside cells (similar to mild drought or salinity stress). Proline stabilizes cell membranes and helps the plant retain water better, reducing wilting or limpness. - **Reduces oxidative stress** โ€” Ca/Mg shortages cause free radical damage. Proline acts as an antioxidant and protects proteins/enzymes, so deficiency symptoms (yellowing, spotting, slowed bud development) don't spiral as fast. - **Improves overall resilience** โ€” In cannabis and general hydro/soil grows, L-proline (or full amino acid mixes containing it) has been shown to boost stress tolerance, speed recovery, and even support better nutrient uptake indirectly. Studies and grower reports note it helps under nutrient imbalance, drought-like conditions, and environmental swingsโ€”exactly the secondary stresses soft water creates. - **Bloom-stage bonus** โ€” Since you're already in late flower with Cha Ching/MaxiBloom, proline can support resin/terpene production and bud density without pushing excessive veg growth. It won't magically add the missing Ca or Mg (those are still criticalโ€”soft water + high-P bloom nutes often screams for CalMag), but it can make the plant more tolerant while you correct the root issue. ### How Much Effect to Expect Right Now - **Positive but moderate** โ€” Many hydro/RO growers add amino acids (including proline) specifically for soft water setups and report less burn, better leaf health, and stronger finishes. It won't turn a severe deficiency around overnight, but it can slow the damage and give your plants a fighting chance in the final weeks. - **No downside at proper doses** โ€” It's very safe and plants use it quickly. ### How to Add It (Practical Dosing) - **Source**: Pure L-Proline powder (available cheap onlineโ€”make sure it's the plant-grade L-form, not human supplements). - **Root feed** (with your Cha Ching/MaxiBloom): Start at 0.5โ€“1 g per gallon (about 100โ€“200 ppm). Mix into your res or feed water once a week. pH as normal. - **Foliar spray** (often more effective for quick stress relief): 0.25โ€“0.5 g per gallon + a drop of surfactant. Spray lightly every 5โ€“7 days in the dark period. - **With your current nutes**: Yes, it layers fineโ€”reduce if you see any tip burn. Many run it alongside MaxiBloom + Cha Ching in soft water without issues. - **Best timing**: Now through harvest is perfect, especially if you're noticing stress signs already. **Real talk**: The biggest win will still come from adding a proper CalMag supplement (like Botanicare or General Hydro's) at 0.5โ€“1 ml/gal or whatever your PPM tests call for. Proline + CalMag together is a strong combo for soft water grows. If you're running pure RO/soft, most experienced growers treat this as standard. 3/19 445am BKO Blueberry KnockOut!! (Gelato 44 by RQS & Bubbles Blueberry F4 by Grimm Brothers Seeds) my own creation!!๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐Ÿ”ฌ A spoonful of butter helps the sugar go down, Im helping. 3/19 10:42PM mmm butter and sugar are just a few ingredients shy of cookie dough, good enough. Now ICE-T BODYCOUNT Grows efficiently in a one gallon with very little effort No real LST, lower than normal lighting, so cheaper to grow. MONTEL: growing great in such a small container!! Should have topped, she is tall. Colors are coming in now, very strong also growing great at low watt so very efficient as well!!!

I came back after vacation, the girl is ready for cutting, the rainy weather has started, so there is a threat of rot, you can say I managed to find just a few small pits in time and removed them and threw them away, the big and stiff flowers look fantastic:) but after a long trip I was tired, so I didn't take quality photos :( no everything else, I am very satisfied with the result I got:) its smell already lets me know that it will be good:) a lot of sugar leaves from which I will make bubble hash:) I will update the weight when it dries.

04/11 - (M) - As stated on my last update mom came back strong from losing a week with no feed because of drip emitter malfunction - Ran a hard defilation to remove dead or dying leaves - Res was cleaned out and reloaded with a fresh nute feed clean water heavy. 04/11 - (C) - The babies came back from the PPM burn as previously stated - Had some yellowing going on as well but after flush and slow dose nutrient/clean water feed their green is coming back strong.

Excellent genetics. Highly recommend ETHOS Terps are the best Iโ€™ve grown.. I like the boutique stuff tho. Itโ€™s like grapes but sweet and sour to it. Hard to describe. Killer bag appeal. Rock hard nugs on 3 of the 4 phenos.. pheno 3 had some fluff to it. Had some lock out issues with dry back of the coco being so quick. Overall they turned out pretty damn good considering they were abused a bit.

Things are going really well for this lady. She has continued to produce copious amounts of tricombes and the smell is just unbelievable. I've had to source some air fresheners to hang around the garden to try and mask it. I've removed a few of the new growth at the bottom of the main stem a some they are only going to suck energy that can be better used.

Oh it was a special week. Day 21 of flower marks the Silver Back Guerilla defoliation day!!!! I left one be. For him. To prove me wrong. BUT!!! That one had some dead leaves at the bottom that needed removal, not the defoliated plants!! Time will tell as to if what Im doing is right. I stick to my guns that this works for my room. Even though I read differently, removal of foliage has lowered my rh. Could very well be outside environment, however. By day 21F the room was a bush again. In my opinion, it needed the heavy defo to breathe. As for light penetration, I am extremely happy with the amount of heads receiving direct light. Im a pig in shit Thanks for looking, I dont want to hear your opinion on defo or schawazze, unless youre SBG

Week 2.I rearranged a few lights in my grow room to get rid of unnecessary lighting and I also moved my auto flowers to their own separate environment. Only about three more weeks left on the Autoโ€™s and Iโ€™ll be done for now. I plan on using a harvest right freeze dryer to cure

One more week... I have improved the equipment used to make the Janes will thrive as it should be, and to make sure that the environment is solid as diamond. || I absolutely love this genetic. The aroma, the structure of the plant, structure of the flowers and the effects of the final product. I hope in future to look back to what I'm doing and cover any flaws and dive into a very nice pheno-hunt. ๐ŸŒฑ Genetics Breeder: Royal Queen Seeds Special Kush #1 Afghan x Kush Kush is to indica strains what Haze is to sativas. Much like Skunk, โ€œKushโ€ is a term used to describe an entire lineage of cannabis plants. Today, the term Indica refers to a type of plant that is naturally found (indigenous) to the Indian region. Source: https://www.royalqueenseeds.com/feminized-cannabis-seeds/138-special-kush-1.html ๐ŸŒฑ Vegetative Stage Method used: minimal intervention โ€” I donโ€™t touch the plant and simply let it thrive. The environment remains stable, especially in terms of temperature. Iโ€™ve learned that consistency is key: when conditions stay steady, the plant feels comfortable and grows stronger.
