Added yellow sticky fly traps to all cubes as a preventative measure to avoid infestation of fungus gnats. So far none have been spotted. Defoliated and did a little more LST to all the plants to open up the center and give more light to lower shoots. Blue Dream 3 and Chemdawg 3 started showing some discoloration on the leaves (yellowing around the veins) and also the leaf tips curling down. Did some research and came up with this... Possible diagnosis: - Yellowing around leaf veins could be a sign of Magnesium or Iron deficiency - Leaf tip curling down could be a sign of Nitrogen Toxicity. - Both could be caused by improper ph balance in water Possible solutions: - Applied Botanicare CalMag+ as a foliar feed and added some to the reservoir. CalMag+ contains Calcium, Magnesium and Iron. - Diluted nutrients in reservoir to lower amount of nitrogen being fed to plants. Was feeding them at 1300ppm, lowered it to 1050ppm - Tested runoff and saw it was coming out at 5.4pH so I increased the pH in the reservoir to 6.0. Now the runnoff is testing at 5.7pH, meaning that my rootzone is in the optimal range of 5.5-5.8 Well wait and see how the plants react to these slight tweaks. Hopefully we start to see a nice healthy even green again.

Put a lot of love into this grow. She grew for 4 months from seeds to harvest. About 5 weeks and 56 days of flower. Overall great strain to grow and great site @growdiaries for giving the platform and help from other growers. I’ve learned so much about growing and especially about this strain.

Added video on may 16 for a good look May 11 We are now almost at the end and I must say it sparkles more than anything else I have had so far I specifically took photos and the video using only the light from my phone. Despite the burn marks, she's a real sight to behold. She makes it difficult for me to take photos with a flash because she's covered in trichomes that simply bounce the light back. The buds look great and healthy and are now in their final stages of ripening. I hope everyone enjoyed this cup. I've been through thick and thin with this plant, and I really enjoyed it.Regardless of whether I win the cup or not, I'm already a winner with this beautiful plant. It smells great, and I'm already looking forward to smoking it. Thank you all for your attention. This is the largest diary entry I'll be making, in terms of pictures. Of course, there will be more pictures and videos until the end of May. She will now receive advanced nutrients as prescribed and Plagron's Green Sensation for the rest of the time. Really moving along well and she is getting sticky and smells amazing.Her pistols are turning a bright orange and with heavy frost she finish out in prob a few weeks.Light intensity set at 80 percent power and I have backed off the nutrients

05/10 - Coming into week 4 and the ladies are thriving - Had a little yellowing going on but they have since recovered amazingly - Did a little defoliation on the bottom growth to remove any sick sites - Both will be transplanted into 5 gallon pots later this week. 😎😎😎😎😎 05/15 - Ending week 4 Veg and both ladies are thriving amazingly - I have some defol to do and transplant prep work is under way - Transplanting into 5 gallons puts and moving into the 4x4 through harvest - Coco will be preconditioned with Myco and worm castings for 5 gallon pot drop - LST will be applied to help out with the mid level plant growth and to even out the canopy to grow aligned.

1/14: This morning, I did a foliar application of big bloom and fulvic acid, then about 5 hours later I watered them with about a half-gallon of rainwater each and added armor si, humic acid, endoboost myco/tricho, liquid molasses, and a bunch of cal-mag. Today, I also I wired up and mounted my new samsung sun board strips (660nm/730nm) and my Solacure FlowerPower UVB fixture. I'm running the deep red/far red bud boosters a few hours per day right now, but will run them for the entire photoperiod once I start flowering them. I'll run the UVB for 4 * 15-minute sessions a day for the full flowering cycle, and if they don't protest too much I'll increase each session by 5 minutes and evaluate again. Some strains are more forgiving than others and I've got 5 different strains in this space...so really not sure much time I'll get away with exposing them to the deadly rays without damaging them too much...😈 1/15: I received one of the rapid led/growmau far red initiator pucks today. With the placement of my UVB light, I'm realizing I'll need another far red puck to have even and intense far red coverage, so I'm ordering another with Prime delivery and waiting to start flowering until I receive it. I sprayed them down really well with ph adjusted rainwater tonight to rinse off nutrient build-up from foliar applications. 1/16: I'm really excited to try flowering under 14/10. I grew photos indoors on an off for 15 years before I semi-retired. If I added up all the additional flowering time I could have done through the years if LED technology existed, I'd have had an extra truckload of bud to smoke. I did another application of Axiom Harpin a|b Proteins this evening, right before dark. I'm expecting a big growth burst this week, leading up to the flower stretch. I really need them to trigger under 14/10 within 4 or 5 days🙏 ...if not, I'll switch to 13/11 and wait a few more days🙏😟..if still no pistils are poppin, I'll go to 12/12 and chalk it up as bad luck or varietal indifference to Pr and Pfr manipulation. 1/17: I fed each of them about 3/4 gallon of full strength veg nutes. This will be the last. Saw spidermites setting up camp on the dark side of the plant on 1 bud site. There was no sign of them anywhere else. This plant is becoming more trouble than it’s worth and I’ve decided to chop her early after.

Edit: I just wanted to share a couple photos and a video that I took with my new WiFi microscope. Best $20 I’ve spent in a while. Ladies and gentlemen it’s the moment you’ve all been waiting for. Live from the Alaska arena IT’S TIIIIIIME! After 15 weeks in the 4x5 custom tent these ladies standing at 38 inches weighing in at a weight to be determined later are going to get chopped down by rear naked shearing this Sunday Sunday Sunday! We’ll sell you the whole seat but you’ll only need the edge!!!! On the real. These ladies have done their job. They’ve bulked up and gotten rock hard with mad trichomes on the sea of upper bud sites. I had a scare with a plant in a nearby tent that was rescued that was a hermie. ONE site right in front of the intake vent got it and was cut immediately. The rest of them were not affected. This strain is nearly impervious to everything from ph to whatever amount of nutrients you want to feed them in a hydroponic environment. I hit them with a massive 2100 ppm of flora series with fox farms beastie bloomz 0-50-30 in the end and never got the fade or burn. The nutrients have been cut out and it straight water for the duration. Friday starts 48 hours of darkness.

High Level again 👍 Eva seeds high level 7th March 2022 She is looking great as she moves further into her blooming stage . Gave her a small amount of Monsta bud to help those pistils develop 👌 The change from Summer to Autumn is probably the best time of the year here weather wise and all of my plants are soaking up the warm sunshine without that horrible heat to contend with. I have noticed they are all requiring a bit less to drink each day as well , which would be in part due to the soil not drying out as quickly as it was . I am not sure what is happening with Grow diaries and all of the glitches lately but it has made me decide to take a break once all of my current diaries are harvested . All and all the plant was great but I would probably not grow again. It had a much slower flower time and really struggled.
