These ladies continue to develop very nicely and lucky stopped stretching pretty much in the beginning of this week and the buds are forming super nicely. Since I also don’t observe a stretch in flower anymore, I decided to feed pk13/14 for the next week. It continues to surprise me how hungry these autos are, much hungrier than my glookies fro example. Unfortunately I realized that the plant on the very right of the box produces much smaller buds than the other two. I am pinning that on the fan right above her, so have pointed it slightly higher, but I guess the damage is done:(.

she tolerated the move from indoor to outdoor very well. she likes the sun very much and she shows that she wants to grow. i am very happy with her performance.

03/05/2021 Beginning of week 4 looking good, I think she will start flowering in week 5-6, so I might top her, she is growing fast so I hope it will not harm flowering time. Ps. I did top And 24 hours later I can see all is well, where I topped her is healing, and side branches responding! I know she will be ready for flowering. Check out video and see.

7/29 - Week 9 of veg is starting. At this point, it is just let them grow up a few inches, and also fill out the pots some more with roots before transplanting to 5 gallon fabric pots (their final homes). I also plan on mixing a 'flower blend' soil to fill up the 5g pot around the rootball that is transplanted. This recipe for the soil is taken from MaximumYield: Enhanced fruit/flower potting soil recipe This soil recipe is designed for plants that are ready to fruit or flower. In particular, this recipe works great for ornamentals that are already in bloom and for fast-growing annuals that are entering their fruiting or flowering stage. Parenthesis indicate small changes or products I'm using. 1/2 cu. ft. (60 cups) sphagnum peat moss (Promix BX) 1/4 cu. ft. (30 cups) coco coir (Mother Earth Coco Peat) 1/4 cu. ft. (30 cups) compost (either compost or manure) 1/4 cu. ft. (30 cups) perlite 10 cups pumice (likely to just use perlite here) 5 cups worm castings 3 cups bat guano (high phosphorus) 1 cup fish bone meal (using regular bone meal, got Jobe's Bone Meal) 1 cup oyster shell 1/2 cup seabird guano (likely to just add as the high phosporous guano) 1/4 cup alfalfa meal 1/4 cup fish meal (Down to Earth Fish Meal) 2 tbsp. langbeinite (Down to Earth Langeinite) 1 tbsp. glacier rock dust (Azomite ordered from Amazon) 7/30 - While technically the morning of 7/31, lights haven't gone out yet, so it is still the 30th ;) It almost hurts posting pictures today, because they were really thirsty, but I honestly hadn't looked at them for a couple days. Anywho, the plants were watered with ~1.25 liters of water each, about 90 minutes before lights out. Will be interesting to post the 7/31 photos after a couple hours of lights on, and see the difference in appearance. I also mixed the soil for flowering, and it will now have a couple weeks to 'cook' and become ready for the plants. I did make a mistake and accidentally added 1 cup of fish meal instead of 1/4 cup (oops), and the alfalfa meal just smelled too good, so I added 1/2 cup instead of 1/4. Hopefully those 2 'changes' don't add too much nitrogen for flower, but I imagine it won't. I also instead of adding perlite (didn't want to buy a 4 cu ft bag when I needed at most 2.5 gallons (1/3 cu ft), so I opted to add 1 gallon of pumice. Since the coco peat and promix both have perlite in them, I didn't want too much added. There were also some worms from the compost that made it into the tote that is now storing the mix, so life has already started in the soil. 7/31 - It wasn't just after lights on, as I didn't have time to photo earlier, but this is just about 24 hours after watering, and praying/looking good. I had noticed that it looked like the fan had slipped down the pole a bit, and was causing some wind burn/clawing of the leaves yesterday, which probably attributed to poor looks, but looking better today! I am not that versed in checking preflowers, though I know the difference for sure once flowering starts, but it appears both of these may be ladies! 8/4 - After getting home from work, and realizing I hadn't checked on the plants in a couple days and I knew they were due for water either yesterday or today, I saw some THIRSTY plants. They each got ~1.2L of water, and also a quick trim back. Also, as shown in the pictures, and while still under 18/6 light, DC#2 has developed balls, and is definitely a male. I have been contemplating growing any males out for pollen, but that just might be further down the road for me. He will likely get the plug soon. On the plus side, DC#1 definitely has hairs!

She has been flipped to flowering light schedule after a good flush and defoliation. This plant is looking really healthy. However, I'm not really impressed with the growth. She is not responding well to the LST and topping. I think It would be better to grow this plant in a SOG type grow. I still have 5 more seeds of this strain. I still have plenty of tries to find the best method of growing this strain.

A couple of days ago I got home and a sublime smell of coffee pervaded the area. Smell it smells you I came to understand what was good when I started the flush of our wonderful Auto test #1. The colors have come out forcefully both in the hair and the leaves have taken on a fantastic color, the maturation at the top is practically finished at the bottom something is missing, the plant still drinks a lot and we are flushing as if there were no tomorrow. We don't know what this beauty is GHSC mouths are rightly kitchens because it will be out very soon we are sure of one thing, a smell of coffee that makes me tear my underwear, wonderful. Auto test #2 is a week late but because I planted her quite later, she has now started to apply color but she has been throwing resin everywhere for a while, she too will be scary. Hey Cannafam Happy Monday, My Apricot gal has had a fairly good week overall, however the leaf miners had started to spread so i defoliated lower fan leaves earlier in the week, she has now got some trails on the upper fan leaves, but she needs leafage for progression so ive started trying to squash the larvae between thumb and forefinger. Hopefully this should work, ive had leaf miners on plants before but generally leave them, but theyve been worse than normal on this grow. Training has been piecemeal each day, but as shes quite low down i have torn a couple of leaves slightly by accident where i couldnt get to the base of shoots, trying to hold them in their dedired positions whilst pinning them down. Although il continue to make continuous adjustments, shes about to start flowering so i may not seperate any more auxilery shoots into main branches, but we'll see dependant on if theres much sretch going into flower. Feed wise shes just had the one dose this week of Plagron, Trace and Great White. Weather wise its been allot drier/consistant overall but with fog, mist and drizzle starting each day Tuesday - Saturday with the Sun coming through for a bit in the afternoons. Humidity has remained very high but with constant temps of around 19c daytime 14c nightime. Sunday the misty/cloudy days had gone and it was a lovely hot 25c day/18c night and today its been a scorching 27c! Daylight hours are at 16hrs 26mins and will now start reducing as we had the Summer Soltice yesterday ☹️ Overall my gal seems to be happy with good growth, this strain seems well suited to the UK weather but the real test will be in flower, as the past few years we have had a wet summer with ensuing budrot. At the moment this strain really dosen't seem phased by our changeable weather conditions and seems quite hardy 😊 Thats all from me for now, thanks for stopping by ✌️💚

Aumentamos un poco los nutrientes, todo va bien están sanas van vigorosas y poco a poco van estirando. Hice poda de bajo esta semana, aproveche para sacar esquejes y regalarlos a un amigo cercano. En las fotos podréis comprobar que hay distintas podas en cada ejemplar pero los bajos la llevan todas. Han empezado a marcar sexo, parece que todas son hembras. Tengo muchas ganas de seguir progresando este proyecto semana tras semana, y ver al final los resultados en si, buenos humooos 💨💨

April 4th - It seems like the Northern Lights does not take well to over watering. It's been 5 days and she's still looking sad, but keeping up with the bubble gum. Pink berry remains tiny. I've added a Mars Hydro ts 600 and an ultra sonic humidifier. All were topped on April 2nd.

Salute everyone! We have a liftoff! Since this is my first grow i spent the last month at least in research, tents, lights, strains, nutrition (omg), growing medium, watering, temp, humidity and so on! Total overload. When i got my tent and seeds, it was time to visit my local grow shop, and the nicest of people who happens to be the owner, reassured me that im going to be fine. And thats my plan. Read some diaries here and I’m really looking forward to engage with the community! Today is 01/09 - the day it begins. Seeds are in the soil. 01/09 - morning Implanted the seeds at night and turned the light at 20% power about 50cm away from the surface and turned the vent to around 25% The himidity dropped to 55%. so I’ve decided to turn off the vent for now. Now the humidity is around 65% which i would like to keep thru seedling/veg stage 03/09 - midnight Full 48 hours has passed since the seeds were planted. No signs of life so far. 03/09 - 70 hours after planting the germinated seeds in the soil 2/3 have srouted. The third one didn’t have a root when planted, but was cracked open, so i guess she’s lagging a little. Tomorrow morning will switch the lights to 18/6. 25% of power. 04/09 - 84 hours after planting All three girls are up. Switching light to 18/6 (25% power) Installed a go pro to shoot a time lapse. 05/09 - morning Seems that nothing changed overnight. Compared my plants with a day by day progress reference i found on the web. So i decided to help the plants and remove the shell of the seed. Seems went well. Only plant 1 managed to remove only one half, second half is glued. 05/09 - afternoon After removing the shells i noticed that the cotyledons are glued together by the residue on the seed. Performed a microsurgery (neurosurgeon wanabe) Attached. Finally the plants are free and exposed to the light

So.. She's now just over 12 weeks old with 8 weeks flower and 4 veg, I did the last feed on Friday just gone, and will now flush for a week+ up until she starts showing me Amber's, I AM NOT CUTTING HER EARLY I know she's a sativa dominant but, there is Indica genes in there somewhere and I would like around 10-20% Amber if possible, it is going to be a precarious balancing act between prime potency, amber and degradation of the plant as its been around for a long time she's going to go over DP timing cycle by about 5 weeks haha, As soon as I see Amber's appearing I am going to give it about 36hrs as normal then whack it in the dark for 24hrs (everyone seems to do it so I will try with this one then do two the next time with the same strain put one in the dark and one not and see if there is any difference, I am thinking that there is now about 1to2 weeks left before harvest (I know I said that last week aha) but what do I know, hmhm So looking forward to seeing what she's like, I have put so much care love and attention into making her the best she could be and not stressing her, and has received very little stress, a bit of burn on the tips of leaves (bout 4 weeks ago appeared overnight, cut down food and it seemed to fix. The issue) and the heat for the last week and a half or so crept up to about 31 ish all the time at night aswell, but I was running about trying to keep her cool and moist, well it seemed to have paid off as there is very very minimal foxtailing on 2 of the bud sites the majority remain prestine, I would really appreciate a few guesses as to harvest weight (dry) I could expect, (I won't hold anyone to there word, I know it's an educated guess, haha), Sorry about the missed weeks and lack of quality pictures, I will endeavour to make up for that with a good final post and roundup 👍👍 Thanks for poking your head in, Please remember to close the door when you leave 😜

Hello growmies! Welcome to week seven of An Epsilon Adventure! Massive thanks to both Shogun and Royal Queen Seeds for sponsoring this grow! I have just completed the final defoliation for the three least advanced (and largest) girls. I have also rearranged the tent again to try to maximize the space available and light usage. I have not fertigated for 5 days after the last fertigation was a flush without coco base. I am struggling with humidity at the moment so I have been trying to let the plants go more dry than usual. Daily Updates ### Week 7 Day 2 02:30 7/8 Heavily defoliated plants 1, 5 & 6 and removed some of the lower branches. Rearranged tent then photographed & measured: Plant 1 is now almost unbelievably 2nd tallest at "only" 141cm in height! Her stretch has just about ended. Plant 2 has stopped stretching at 111cm and is 2nd most advanced into flower. Plant 3 has stopped stretching at 95cm and is most advanced into flower. Plant 4 has stopped stretching at 100cm and is 3rd most advanced into flower. Plant 5 has gained 6cm this week and may add few more but she is pretty close to done stretching at 119cm. Plant 6 has gained 22cm this week and isn't quite finished. She is now the tallest plant in the series at 142cm. ### Week 7 Day 2 07:00 7/8 Fertigated 1.6l each ### Week 7 Day 4 02:00 9/8 Fertigated 1.6l each reduced coco a/b to 2m/l each. Spent a bit more time photographing and videoing to try and capture the changes and the developmental differences. These 140cm+ plants are going to STACK. I am bracing myself for a lot of trimming and a monster harvest. 🙏 The current order of maturity and likely order of harvest is 3 2 4 1 5 6. I think the first and last plants will be at least a week apart in harvest, perhaps 2 or 3. ### Week 7 Day 6 23:00 11/8 Fertigated 1.6l each The smell in the tent is there now, really not that strong but there are 6 plants motoring through flower here now so it's not insignificant either. Plant 3 is absolutely stacking now, she's more or less run out of space around her cola and is now growing some foxtail like structures, exciting! Plant 6 the least mature is 2-3 weeks behind plant 3, but her stretch has finally stopped at 144cm. Took wide angle in tent photos today.
