Hello Diary, The first week of flowering is behind me and as you can see in the photos, the Medusas are developing very quickly. The flowers have formed and now the flowering begins. Trichomes appeared around the flowers on the leaves, which is a great sign for this stage of the plant. What you can see is that the plants differ slightly in structure, one is taller with fewer leaves and a more sprawling structure, while the other is more of a bush shape with lots of leaves. In the description of this strain, they should be equal in structure, which is not the case, at least for me. I removed the humidifier so that the humidity in the air dropped to about 50% and the temperature rose to about 24 degrees. Watering has become a little more frequent, which is to be expected given the size of the plants. Here's what it looked like last week. 18/02/2023 - Day 25. Watering. I prepared 5 liters of water, lowered the pH. to 6.0 and watered both plants with that amount. 21/02/2023 - Day 28. Photographing and height measurement. On day 1 week 2 flower the Gals are really stretching now, hope I have enough room 😂They seem to be taking the flower nutes well even without a transition phase 😀. On day 3 the gals have stretched so much they are within 6 in of my light hoping The stretch will slow down soon yikes 😱. I defoliated the lower and upper canopy to bring in more light and air flow. On day 6 the stretch seems to be slowing down. I increased my light intensity from 75% to 100% to see if I can halt anymore stretching. I also bent my highest colas down as they were touching the grow light 😂. On day 7 flower clusters are forming and the stretch has slowed. I will continue to bend over the tallest colas and do my best to manage the canopy without too much loss of yield. It looks like some of my colas might get light stressed/burnt. There is not much else I can do except learn from my mistakes...next time I would flip the plants earlier and give them stronger light intensity before flowering stretch. The top leaves are canoeing so I reduced light intensity back to 75% to see if they improve. I got my first clog in my blumat systems main line... I will be switching to liquid based fertilizers for the next run as I believe my fertilizer caused the clog. I released the clog by using a pipette filled with water. I took the pipette and squeezed liquid through the main line exiting my reservoir. Then the lines were running smooth 😂

The red and purple hues on this girl are a sight to behold, as I upload this part of the grow diary I have already harvested her (stage 1), it was painful to do but I soon got over it! I've enjoyed the surprises she has thrown at me along the way, like growth rate, hight, her sensitivity to environment changes during veg but that was only due to not reading the smaller print and not doing a bit of genetics homework and more "I want to grow Blue Cheeses".. She's a proper smelly lady and I actually didn't like the scent (never thought I'd say) that she gave off when rubbing against the main stem and branches whilst LSTing. Conversely the flower was yummy, a piercing sweet blueberry note followed by the chonky cheese stink, a definite "Grow again Jane" so far and any I've not even smoked any yet!.

Week 7 Flower - Notice that the tops of some of the Tops are pretty hard. Think they got a bit cooked by the LED... Hifi 4G & Blueberry Pics are missing from this week...I thought I had taken some footage, but seems that I got distracted. Work has been nuts so not surprising that I gapped on that. Hifi 4G is needed more support. Looks like a blue ribbon chaos around it. Blueberry looks fantastic.

Stretching really well in 2nd week don't think I will veg them too long, maybe another 2-3weeks, been able to top 2 of them so far. I will be topping all of them just the once. Growing slightly quicker than the last barney's seeds I used. All looking very healthy.

I'm really contemplating dropping Bruce & Diesel. They're developing very badly. We'll see how they continue to develop, another week and it will be clearer.

Explosive growth after one week! Looking to do a topping and starting some LST next week. Things are looking great and going pretty smooth. The clones are still recovering from the deficiencies they came with.
