Just trimming it now while still in the tent see if I can push some more trichomes frost and stank

Cut the plants down on the 24th of April, drying room levels are 72°F and around 60%RH, I'm currently on Day #14 of drying and the buds don't feel fully dry yet, the main tops feel crunchy and dry but the lower smaller buds are still quite moist and smell like chlorophyll, I think I may harvest the main tops so I don't overdry and leave the rest in the tent for another few days, either that or put the rest of the buds in a brown paper bag to finish drying. Finished dry trimming the plant ended up with 200 grams dry weight not including trim there's another 2 ounces of trim which if you want to include that would bring the total weight from this 250W LED to 256 grams. I'm super happy with the result of this especially for my first grow and from one autoflower, it can only get better from here on out. FYI Not sure why I can't edit the lights I used but the bloomgro 600W LED is PULLING AN ACTUAL 250W FROM THE WALL so the gram/watt should be .8g/W

On day 1 the plants are looking good. I confirmed that my one cola was seeded, so I removed all visible seed pods. After this run I will do a deep cleaning to make sure there is no pollen in my grow box. The rest of my plant colas seem fine... I changed out my reservoir and adjusted the PH to 6.1. I also dimmed my light to 75% to mimic spring conditions. On day 2 I adjusted the PH of the reservoir down to 6.1. The plants are looking great besides a few fox tails from too much light. On day 3 the PH in the reservoir is 6.2. On day 4 I diluted my reservoir with plain water to lower the ppm down to 400 ppm, and I adjusted PH to 6.2 . The buds are ripening for sure and smell great! I haven't gotten any autumn colors yet even though I have dimmed my grow light and lowered my night time temps. I hope by 8 weeks the plants will have some more purple tones but if not I'm good with the flower quality thus far :). The breeder says 7-8 weeks so I'm hoping I am close to the finish line. I will continue to monitor the trichomes for ripeness. On day 5 I adjusted the reservoirs PH to 6.0. I harvested my seeded cola on Pheno #1 as it had stopped growing/ripening and would be a good tester ;) On day 6 the reservoirs PH is 6.2. On day 7 the PH is 6.0 50 % pistils have turned amber so I believe I have entered my harvest window and expect to flush and harvest soon:) very excited!

DRYING TIME

What’s up this is the very start of week five these plants are huge really filling out the screen good. The grow XL really kicked into high gear. Got tons of tops and nodes poking up. Keep folding everything down under the screen and it’s really getting good results. Nutrients are doing great everything has a really nice color. The DWC plant water got a little high on the PPM for a day towards the end of last week so I started to see a little bit of tipp nute burn butt got the water changed out and everything is looking great again. I topped that plant really good and it’s got a really nice round shape trying to get it to fill the whole end of the tent screen. I’m pretty excited about this plant. This will probably be the last week of veg well I know it will everything’s in pre flower pretty heavy. And they have a really strong smell for being where they’re at in their life cycle which is cool! I’ll update again in a few days thanks for stopping by and as always 🍻

Posted a day later than usual 🌝 Nice and easy week again, some early signs of senescence showing on a few leaves. Quite dry in there this week so a few leaves are looking a bit crispy but all in all they’re looking good with no signs at this stage that bud rot appeared on other bud sites other than the one I cut off two weeks ago. The 18w Migro UVB will be installed next week, ready to be turned on two hours per day for the final three weeks. 🌱

Moby Dick XXL Overview- Growth ~ *Grown under a spider farmer sf2000 only in a 4x4 tent* Initial Veg period was 5 weeks. I did not top her and I performed very minimal LST/ defoliation. I started her right of the bat with the microbials (Mammoth P/ Recharge) and then later added my NFTG feed int week 4. She really started to explode in growth in week 4/5. I honestly did not notice one yellow leaf up until the very end when I started to flush her. This strain is very very tolerant I would say and grows HUGE. I started seeing signs of flowering in week 6 and it was history from there! She exploded with even more growth nearly doubling its size in flower (3.5 ft to be exact) and she grew many massive colas slammed with milky trichomes and dank smells! Buds grow long and slender as opposed to small/dense like golf balls. Nutrients ~ She was potted into a 6-gal fabric airpot w/ M3 soil. Like I do with most my plants I started her slowly with just microbial feeds (w/Mammoth P and Recharge) and I did not start using my main nutrient line (Nectar for The Gods) until week 4. I really like using a foliar spray to feed also. I kept a simple feed schedule with this one and it worked out really well. I try to follow this schedule (Shown below) as close to possible with some obvious interruptions to it here and there. Microbe tea /VEG ONLY*foliar spray No Water Feed /VEG ONLY*foliar spray Microbe tea No Water /VEG ONLY*foliar spray No Water or Flush (every two weeks) Aroma/Taste ~ One of my favorite parts about this plant was its aroma. Very pine like but sharp and unique . Its described an exotic wood smell and I definitely get that. Its so refreshing and earthy it’s a VERY nice change of pace from the fruitier strains. You do get a slight citrusy smell but the pine/ wood smell is really the overpowering smell. It is by far the smelliest auto I have ever grown so I really really respect how well of a job Dinafem did on these genetics. They obviously didn’t just focus on the size of the plant! She has a nice smooth flavor that is earthy and sharp . The wood flavors linger a bit which is very nice! Effects~ Almost instantly felt it in my head. Blessed with a euphoric feeling of calmness and almost a numbness to reality. I felt it for sure and it was very potent. 1 joint had me feeling it very hard and th high lasted what felt like an hour or so which is not the case for me usually! Its attributed to the sativa dominance this plant has. Im so used to growing hybrids or indica dom plants I almost forgot what sativa highs felt like! Thanks Moby Dick XXl for slapping me in the face and reminding me!! Overall thoughts~ This plant is really easy to grow, and she stays true to her name and grows massive. This strain should be tried by any auto lover 100% I think Dinafem nailed this strain all across the board. Was pleasantly surprised with how tolerant to nutrients/ light she is. I had the light closer than suggested most her flowering and she didn’t stress at all. I cant really come up with a negative thing to say about this plant, maybe the buds are airy but that’s because she is very sativa dominant it was a bastard to trim her for sure. Drying/ Curing method~ -Dried for 11 days in a low humidity environment/ completely dark area with good airflow. Hung her as an entire plant with all the leaves still on her. -Dry trimmed her (very hard strain to trim) -Put right into mason jars and sealed shut for 3 days then began burping her (I am not using boveda ***) -Burped twice a day for 2 weeks straight and maintained 60-62 humidity. -Slowed down burping to once a night the third week .

Great growing plant topped it at about 3rd node but it stayed a shorter plant. Very nice growth, dense buds and a hint of lemon gasoline.

Buenas noches familia, de nuevo actualizamos el diario, y acabamos la cuarta semana de floración, vaya brazos laterales que están tirando, se van a poner hermosas, se las ve sanas y vigorosas, nota mucho la forma sativa de sus hojas así que veremos lo que tardan en florecer. Ph controlado a 6,5 y humedad por debajo de 45% not bad las condiciones temperaturas mínimas de 20 y maximas de 27,5 Grados. Al atar las puntas los brazos tendieron a ir a la luz y gracias a eso la planta está tomando la forma de la esquina.

Some of you may have wondered: Why do I use CO2 at average 950 ppfd μmol/m2/s (moral flow)? The answer is quite simple. Because of lack of space in some regions of my cultivation area, I simply cannot keep the ideal distance to my Sanlight high-performance lamp, due to some height growth of various strains. And so some of the main colas have ppfd values of 1250 μmol/m2/s and even more... So this is how I manage to achieve and compensate for such high radiation levels even with a CO 2 balance. And I have to say, my strategy to avoid various light stress symptoms works just fabulously. In combination with CO 2 implementation, my babies are simply unbeatably insensitive to light. Thats it! Beginning of 3rd week flowering: Again feeding my babies by 36 hours fermented potions of Bio Tabs Kompost Tea PK-Booster (15 g pro Liter) and added: 5ml Orgatrex/Liter 1 Spoon of Bactrex 1 Spoon of Mycotrex 1 Spoon of Mycco-Vital 1 Spoon of Dynomyco A little tip for those who are interested in small modifications that have a big difference or influence - on the result - effect - beauty - health - taste! Before adding microorganisms or beneficial bacteria or Mycorrizae and Trichodermas, please use oxygen-saturated water. On the one hand, unwanted chlorine gases evaporate and the small world of the microbiome becomes even faster and more rewarding in compost tea to sprout. Last but not least for this week, I would like to introduce my reasons, why I prefer growing biologically and sustainably. First of all, it’s something which suits very well in these times/days we are living now. Sustainability is a big need and task for our planet. 🌎 Nature means life. Our home, the air we breathe and everything that surrounds us. Not just today. Hopefully tomorrow as well. Maybe I'm starting to protect our environment on a small scale, but maybe I can also make a big difference at all. If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change... I thought about what’s the difference, between Mineral Feeding and Super Soil Feeding. It’s very easy. Biologically Growing is a similar process than the natural soil activities out there in the lap of nature’s. So plants has to work and interact with the microorganisms and microbiomic communities in the soil. So the plants will never get lazy like the lazy ones of mineral feeding growers. If you grow biologically, you will feed the soil first and the microorganisms will support every parameter next to your plant conditions. And that will generate an unbelievable spectrum of Terpenes and Trichomes you will never forget. It’s the same comparison, when you daily visit McDonalds and you eat only fast food. Addendum for Day 53: At the moment we unfortunately have another winter onset here in Germany. This means that I am forced to take additional heating measures due to structural facts in order to be able to keep the temperatures constant. After all, just tonight the thermometer climbs again to -1 degree Celsius. In addition, my exhaust air system runs out of my bedroom terrace and I therefore grow winter and summer with the patio door open. Well, sometimes I experience real weather-related challenges. But all in all, no problem... "Where there's a will, there's a way." Addendum to pouring out the fermented PK tea: I always administer half a liter of lukewarm aerated water with 3.5 ml of cannazyme per liter to each plant. This means that the "root machine" is not supplied with supplies unprepared and the nutrient solution can thus also be better distributed in the soil. Since I also work with cloth shoes, I spray them evenly moistened everywhere with water that is also warm before pouring them out from the outside. This has the advantage that the moisture stays where it should: in the pot! ... I did the math today ;-) We are still in week 7 until this Friday. And week 8 starts on Friday! OMG... still so much time yeahh! Today my Fast Buds Sour Jealousy and Sweet Seeds Big Devil and Dark Devil Automatics arrived. I'm looking forward to it. This time Fast Buds next Time Sweet Seeds. Love them too. Very beautiful genetics. Today a review video of the beginning of week 3. At the time of the pictures, I had minor signs of nitrogen excess. (Light peaks first at the crown of the roof and then slightly continuing to the middle section.) I then painstakingly racked my brains as to why this could be. I found that very slight dry spots had formed and therefore the root found small accumulations of nitrogen that caused its problems. But then, when I carefully homogeneously checked the moisture content in the substrate, the problem evaporated again. However, they had not shown any loss of growth rate during this time. Nevertheless, they developed as expected. They Strawnanas had no problem with that. In the end, I always have a hard time killing them. But I guess that's the way things go. We live and die. The BM has stretched hard the last week putting on some incredible size , just keeping up the defol and minor lollipop to her as she starts fully going in to bud . Already getting a faint fruity smell , the leaves are tasty as we actually had some in a salad the other night 😂

This strain was overall awesome. It had absolutely wonderful colors while growing with a great sweet very good sent. Definitely will grow this again awesome all the way around. Haven't problems with this strain Thanks Fastbuds:)
