March 28th: She's still standing. I tried to take some trichome shots, but i'm not sure how well they are. It's my first shot at it, so cut me some slack! I gave about two gallons of water this week. I'm not sure if she's still drinking a lot, or if the pot getting dry faster is due to a few degree increase in temperature. All of the water was straight well water, not pH'ed. Which reminds me: pH of water doesn't matter when using living soil. The pH of the Soil is what matters. pH in hydroponics makes sense because the water is where your plants will pick up nourishment. The medium for hydro IS the water, which means your water needs proper pH. In soil, the pH is due to all the calcium, magnesium, micro and macro nutrients and minerals that are in it. That will create a pH in your soil. Now, you can also get a high pH in your soil due to sodium build-up. This isn't what you're looking for, as sodium build-up in soil is a no-no. Now, for the fun fact: If you have a low pH in your soil because you don't have enough calcium, pH'ing your water isn't going to do anything. You gotta fix the soil problem, which will correct the pH of the soil, and trying to use pH'ed water isn't the solution. You'd have to add more calcium to your soil to fix it. Anyway. Light intensity is still at 100%. As you can see, i've got some floppy branches on this cultivar. I gotta admit, i love when branches start floppin' around. It tells me that the plant is close to harvest! Just gotta wait on those trichomes to get a few more amber, then she'll be ready to chop. She's still only showing fade ever so slightly. The purple hue is nice, but i wish it would become a bit more pronounced. Maybe it will over the next few days. Another record for veg time thanks to the solar lights...there was a lot of rain this week but she is surviving. I am looking forward to switching her to flower anytime soon.

Pineapple Express was an exciting plant to grow. It grew fast and stretched nicely. Purple Kush was just a runt. It did not like the hot climates from the previous week but grew it out anyway. By weeks end was feeding Remo's full flower lineup. Pineapple - 8ml per 3800ml Ph between 6 - 6.1 Purple - 5ml per 2000ml Ph between 6 - 6.1 No change in light scheduled as with Auto's they do not require the 12 hour darkness period to flower. **Spider Farmer lights generate a lot of heat.

I said it last week but I mean it this week. Patience is a virtue. Haha. This will be last week before I harvest her. I told her as I gave her a good deep final flush that this was her last drink. Once she has dried out from this watering I will say good bye and chop chop her down. She smells wonderfully like lemon and pine tree. (The pink kush cbd skunk smell in the greenhouse is mixing in now and not as wonderful) I’m proud of this grow. I was nervous and unsure how much I would yield from a first “Easy grow” plant but she challenged me a bit. Now we are nearing her end and I’m excited to weigh her.

Everything is healthy as it could be right now. The heater made such a big difference I couldn't be happier with how these are growing at this point hopefully it keeps up. Been removing fan leaves here and there but I'm trying to hold off until day 21 and I might give them all a pretty heavy leaf strip. I read something saying defoliate heavy on day 21 and 42 to increase yields so I might give that a shot. These lights are the real deal I got a meter and even tho I barely know how to read it I'm getting much better canopy penetration and the flexibility of having 4 separate units instead of 2 is going to come in handy. Soon I will put all the shorter plants on one side and tall on the other and adjust the lights accordingly. Pretty decently easy grow, no complaints! Stoked to pull 6oz in a 10 week grow -- autos ROCK! This smells great! The buds were MASSIVE, I was a little skeptical of jarring them that big and decided cut them into smaller nugs just to be careful with mold issues. Will update and finish this review in a few weeks once they've cured!

The plant was harvested on the 73rd day. It was hung not as a whole plant but by separate bud sites. Bud sites had the larger fan leaves removed before the drying process. Temps for the drying were 62F 55%RH for 10 days. She then had a quick cleaning of sugar leaves and jarred for cure. Final report will be coming shortly.😍 Final report: (Smoke report not loading comments) After months cured in a jar I rolled up a joint and smoked it. It had a nice smooth smoke with the flavor of vanilla cake/cookie . She also had a hint of citrus. After the harvest was done I prepped the area for next year's outdoor grow. I will continue to prep the area for the next few months by adding goodies to the area to bring in the worms.😍

Day 57. After 24 hours of darkness light been changed to 12/12. Day 1 of flower. Gorillas are really big and healthy, but Cookies are just sick. Look at the size of control garden ... Cookie is the only plant which will go outside. Maybe she will grow better under real sun, gave her GorillaMax clone companion, hope they both make it ;) Plant to give heavy feed today, still veg mix, no bloom. Happy growing ! Day 59. Everything starts to kick in, girls are praying, cookies are stretching and still mostly with deficiencies or food issues ... Even control gardens worst plant is twice bigger than Cookie .... One good thing - happy that real RQS quality and communication showed up not in my outdoors garden. Theirs beans are not for me anymore. i wouldn't recommend to buy as well. Fact. Day 62. Girls are really happy finally !!! Garden runs nice and my only worry is how to defoliate and lolitop so packed plants. Thinking its my last low grow atempt. Next run i will bump them up a bit for better access , we shall see. Broke my new mobile in two days , so limited info and photo still. Control garden is on 150% overdrive, girls are growing every minute, RC is staying outside with mutated as hell grow, anyway she has all summer and 50 l pot aswell for such long run.

She's really frosting up and producing quite the smell! Definitely a lot smellier than my first grow which I appreciate :) One thing I've done is kept the light much lower than usual and while it's creating issues with temp it seems to be helping the budsites grow faster. I think it's also helped with her not stretching as much, especially that main cola which is still 5" higher than the rest of the budsites (better than my first grow where main cola was 8-9" taller). Wish I had more space, looking into a 24x24x48 tent. Happy growing everyone!!😊

Week 8 of flower is in the books and this show is quickly coming to an end. I said last week we had about 7-10 days and I was spot on at the 10 day mark. I was only wrong about the order. The cheese is ready to chop before the rest and the gorilla cookies, cherry Bomb and lemon haze will follow in due course. The cheese is a beast and it’ll take a little time to get it all run through the bowl trimmer. At least the big one goes first. Her tallest colas have foxtailed like mar, despite the late supercrop. You can tell where the sweet spot for the light is at about 10” distance from the canopy. Any closer than that and the tails begin to show prominently. It’s a good example of just how close you can get to these fixtures with a little bit of prior experience. It’s been noted for the next run😎👍😎. The res. is on an h2o2 only flush for the remainder until the rest are ready to come down. Not a moment too soon either - the pollen chucking project has stalled out waiting for these girls to finish and now that we’ll have a little extra room, we can start running our cuts in the aerocloner🤟. Not long at all now folks. Thanks for tagging along through all this. Learned a bunch about this system and we’re back to hardware mode to make some serious improvements for the next run🤙😎. I love hardware mode😉. Background/Repetitive Nonsense The strain line up on this grow is look’n quite saucy 😈. We’ve got 2 FB strains this time around - Gorilla Cookies (seems we always have some GSC cross in the works). Mainly because the colours look stellar and remind me of a sugar breathe we did last year that was 🔥. The other FB is their original Cheese strain... because we already smoked all our cheese... and we really like our cheese...😉. Emerald triangle was kind enough to include a freebie of Lemon Haze. Wasn’t really big on the list but we haven’t done a haze strain to write home about yet so worth a go👍. The last is a Cherry auto from Bomb seeds that we’ve been trying to get to for months. Each week, we’ll try to expand on some of the benefits of each, as well as any limiting factors or considerations that need attention when pondering purchase. Already I can say that both are high quality products in terms of overall craftsmanship. MarsHydro 2x4 Grow Tent: Excellent construction in terms of durability. Reinforced stitching on the zippers and corners ensures zero tearing. Conveniently placed screen vents and intake/exhaust ports. The ceiling exhaust port only exists on the right side. Perfect for me but not great if you’re running exhaust from the top on the left side (left side wall port makes up for this however). The aluminum frame is rigid enough to support the weight of the lights and accessories. Once you have some weight in the tent, she’s go’n nowhere and you can assemble and break it down in record time if moving or stashing the grow op. Only limiting factors I’ve noticed is that temp. Control will be an issue for a tent. It just doesn’t have the same insulating ability as a wood cabinet or other permanent enclosed space. No worries, this is offset by a small desktop heater and keeps the environment exactly where desired. The other issue was a production problem - the ceiling vent was accidentally stitched into the corner seams on the assembly line. Again, no real issue - just pulled it out with no damage or fraying to the tent or port👍. Closest comparable to it that I’ve seen would be spiderfarmers line of qbs. They feature the same top-o-the-line components and roughly similar spectrums. Where VS takes the advantage is in the convenience of the dimmer nob which is easily accessible and works great at 50% with no strobing👍. The heat sink is also larger which contributes to lower temps. That’s not a good thing in my case but beneficial for most folks. I can already say that this will be a great fixture through all stages of growth. Where I know this light will excel will be in the veg. Stage for sure. Dimming function gives seedlings a much better chance of success with the ability to use lower lighting levels early on and the coverage area on a 240w is great. The average grower will find this panel suitable and fitting to their needs in a 2x4 grow space although I’d suggest 2 units if going any larger than that. The total output in this space equates to about 30w/sq.ft. Which is a decent amount of coverage based on power vs. Growprint. Ideal for veg. Certainly but, in flower - I tend to run closer to 50-60w/sq.ft to achieve higher yields. Again, similar fixtures have performed admirably in the past and while this wouldn’t be considered an “entry-level” fixture, I’d recommend that any grower new to the game not skimp on lighting and start with one of these. The price points are a great value for quality LED tech. These days, so there’s little reason to even consider a lesser fixture👍. I have no detail on limiting factors for this light as yet but have heard that stock branded fixtures don’t necessarily incorporate enough red diodes. I’ve seen no issue myself but confess - I’m no lighting guru. Hi all buddies! First crop from hydro nft growth. Growth went well, I had some management problems in changing nutrients from veg to bloom which delayed the harvest for a week or two. Sensi Seeds' Skunk # 1F is incredibly resistant to mold and insect attacks, very close internodes ensure low height and compact buds. Unfortunately I chose the mother phenotype wrong, I found the lowest as I wanted but I lost the fatness of the buds present in other phenotypes, but the game was worth the same and I am very proud of it! I collected after 94 days of flowering, the last 72h 20kg ice cubes in the tank and total darkness which the last 24h without irrigation. After cutting I hung the whole plants in the tent for 24 / 48h 19 ° C 55% HR. Two days of wet trim to 8 girls and I hung their colas in the tent to continue drying. With a girl i tried dry trim but i will avoid next time. After a week in the tent I cleaned the colas and removed all the sticks, I placed everything in airtight bags in the refrigerator for 5 days 12 ° C 65% HR (daily check). Now dark storage room at a temperature of 18 ° C 65% HR. At the last weighing a few days ago it was more than 500g, from now it does not lose any more weight.
