Week 8 flower

This week I inoculated the room leaves and plants with Neoseiulus cucumeris, I have had minor thrip problems all summer, Usually I use lady bugs to combat them but none have been available this year. I inoculated the plants by shaking the bottle full of Cucumeris and bran over the leaves. I will do this a few times before pre flowers show. Cucmeris are predatory mites that eat the thrip larvae. And are supposed to work for spider mites as well. I added the scrog nets to the room and began training the plants through them. I then flipped the lights over to 12 and Initiated pre flower. All vegetative growth was very vigorous. The goal of this grow is to do a preliminary test to begin to determine if Mycelium provides any additional benefits to Cannabis when allowed to colonize in super soil before being added to bottom layer of the pot. The Process: 1) 8 weeks Prior to Germination Super Soil is mixed (see super Sub cools super soil recipe further down the page) and added to spinning two part composter, water is added and the super soil mix is allowed to break down for a week. 2) 7 weeks Prior To germination 1L of colonized mycelium is added to each side of composter. Mycelium is now allowed to colonize the super soil. 3) After 8 weeks total the Mycelium has had enough time to colonize throughout the super soil mix and is ready to be added to the bottom 1/3rd of the pots. 12/6/2022: Strawberry Gushers is really starting to fade. Some nice purple showing up on some of the leaves. She has some droopy leaves, so I think she is a bit over watered. I skipped watering her today, other than a light mist to keep the soil on top moist. Orange Bubblegum is looking good. Still showing some fading on the lowers, so I hit her with a compost tea today. About 1 liter. The Newberry is also showing some fading on the lowers, but her leaves are slightly drooping too, so I only gave her .5 liters of the tea. 12/7/2022: watered in the 2nd dose of nematodes today, even though there are only a couple fungas gnats left. Gave each plant 1 liter, mixed with the ThermX-70 and some FishShit. The big update today is with the Strawberry Gushers. I found a few nanners. Caught them real early and plucked them, but if more show up I may have to harvest earlier than expected. Used my Bluetooth microscope today to look at the tricomes and Orange Bubblegum is mainly all foggy, with very little amber. I hope I can give her at least another week or two. The Orange Bubblegum and Newberry are a mix of cloudy and clear, with no amber, other than on the leaves, which doesn't count in my book. I'd still say another 3 to 4 weeks. 12/9/2022: The Strawberry Gushers is really fading, and the other two are starting to fade more as well. The Strawberry Gushers is not taking up water as fast anymore, so I just misted the top soil. For the Orange Bubblegum and Newberry I watered 1.3 liters at 6.6 ph, mixed with BuildABloom, coconut powder, and ThermX-70. Also added some fresh aloa juice I made for a new 3x3 bed I'm starting. Did not see any other naners, and the fungas gnats are almost completely gone!!! 12/10/2022: (Day 75) had about 2 liters of leftover water from by 3x3 bed I'm making soil for, so I split that between the 3 plants, mainly just to wet the top soil. Realized after the fact that the water had some Rootwise Micro Complete in it, which the plants don't need at this point, but it won't hurt. Ph was about 6.5 and it also had some FishShit and ThermX-70 as always. Also, reduced the light intensity down again to 600 PPFD, which is a DLI of about 39. Avg. VPD:1.5 PPFD: 600 DLI: 39

Feedings during this period were alternated with water and calmag+. Everything ph'd to 6.5. Started watching my VPD. I try to keep it above 1 and below 1.6

Nice Bud swelling going on. #2 has outgrown the grow box. I'm going to swap her with a small plant from my big grow room. She got a little bit of light burn but not to bad. #1 is close to the lights bud she seems ok. I will move her if I have too.

Alright, so I want you to ignore what I said in this video about harvest speculation. Looking at the trichs, it looks like Gen 2 is coming down this weekend because she does have some amber right now, but Rogue One will probably need another week. All I know is I'm getting worried with how close everyone is getting here at the end. I won't have time for anything else. GAH! 😵 But Gen 2 looks beautiful and Rogue One is Gawgeous! (channeling my inner JVN) The top cola on Rogue One is going to be huge and I am praying that it doesn't get any mold or inchworms because it will be a sight to behold! I just can't believe the improvement it's had in the past few weeks. She has risen like a phoenix, and she is fierce!

i like the structure of this plant, its a beautiful and stable genetics, really great to try, she's already getting more tricomes and starting to smell more, lets see how it goes the next weeks but i think that at the moment its looking good 😊

Raised the lights today. Yesterday I replaced water and cleaned the tank after noticing chlorophyll build up around pump. Overnight it seems the two of them drank a half liter. I topped off the aerovoir reservoir this morning.

25/04/2023 Day 69 I cut the "twins" and finally discovered the inside of the DWC MyPot. I took lots of pics so you can see the unexpected plant of the seed that I lost in the clay and then germinated anyway and found an awkward path to the surface through a tiny hole! Unbelievable! I also found that the watering tube from the pump had moved during manipulation, don't know for how long it has been pressed between the upper and lower parts on the DWC. Pretty sure for that final plants had received less or no feeding solution, and the use of Clean might not have been efficient. I guess it's also the reason why I found the white (?) on the top of the clay, salts and something else, because of lack of watering. Will come back in 3 weeks, will be dry and then I'll can trim and weight. And smoke, yeah! Not expecting much and could be hard to smoke if the cleaning was not efficient. Anyway, the next one will be better!

My A/C has been not really working and it’s getting in the 90s outside not sure if it’s stunting it but have been trying to keep as much airflow as possible I have a fan below and above the canopy and the inline on 6-7 with no carbon filter or ducting right on top of the tent hoping it will be enough o keep the mold away

Day 1 of week 7–this would make the largest plant 43 days old today. Things are going great as far as I can tell. I used very minimal nutrients during this week. Will add some flowering nutrients on the next feed. Looking to see some density on the buds in the upcoming weeks.

I'm happy with the progress they have made, all have responded well to defoliation and LST. I'll be adding a few more light nutrients at some point this week. The gorilla zkittles is shorter than the rest but looks very sturdy and has plenty of bud showing already, I think this is because it started flowering maybe 7days before the rest and in them 7days the rest shot up rapidly! I'll update daily and try get some nice videos with lights out.
