Grow Diary Update: Week 5 - Pre-Flowering and LST Evaluation Entering Pre-Flowering Stage At the end of last week, the first pistils appeared, marking the beginning of the pre-flowering stage for my plants 🙌 There's much to manage now. To support optimal stretching, I've adjusted the nutrients following 2/3 of the Terra Aquatica feeding schedule: CalMag: 2 ml/l (Starting EC before adding nutrients: 0.45 mS/cm) Grow: 1.33 ml/l Bloom: 1.0 ml/l Micro: 1.33 ml/l The nutrient solution now has an EC of 1.3 mS/cm (638 ppm PPM-500/TDS) with a pH of 6.1. These adjustments aim to promote vigorous growth and prepare the plants for flowering. Weather and Growth With significant weather improvements, my plants are thriving at full speed. Every centimeter gained now counts towards maximizing the final yield, turning around from the challenging weeks prior. Pest Management I'm fortunate not to have encountered pests like spider mites, aphids, or thrips. However, the persistent snail issue remains. Nightly patrols with a flashlight have been effective, and placing old lettuce leaves away from the plants has helped trap and remove snails, ensuring the plants remain undisturbed. LST Experiment Results The two plants I trained with LST have responded admirably, showing healthy adaptation to the bending and vigorous growth. Yet, I'm at a crossroads regarding the upcoming stretch phase: should I continue to tie down branches to maintain an even canopy or allow natural upward growth to potentially boost vertical yield? Day 3 for the gutter hoes and they are in the system. I am using a 4 ft section of gutter with caps on both ends. The bottom is lined wit about half an inch of pea gravel for better drainage. Then filled with perlite. A feed line will pump nutrients to the end of the gutter that is elevated about an inch. The nutrients drain back to the reservoir and will be circulated 24 hours a day. This alleviates the need for an air pump since the return water oxygenates the 4 gallon reservoir. Just a cheap nft style setup I guess you would call it.

It’s now showing pistils pretty well, and I got some critical peyote from Barney farms In a napkin right now There is a little burnt tip on fan leaves I think too much nitrogen since it’s in the big pot and the leaves are dark green. But looks good happy I picked the internodes during preflower too

Hi. Unfortunately, I can't write much, I even left last week without comment, although the plants got stressed on it in the form of a lack of water. I increased the amount of watering. This week, the bushes have already become noticeably cramped, I cannot transfer them to flowering for technical reasons, besides, the clone has not grown enough yet. I very much hope that the bushes will not get another stress from the crowding and I will soon be able to change mode to 12/12

Day 29: smelling stronger every day just tucking leafs daily Day 30: bent down more branches to 15" Day 31: plant is focusing on budding for sure will need water soon going to do plain water ph'd I think shes showing some signs of nutrient burn. Day 32: flushed with 2 gallons of ph water removed burned leafs Day 33: nothing new keeping a close eye on her Day 34: not growing much but seems to be budding still Day 35: she got up to 15" now some orange spots on leaf edges from over feeding

i know still no defoliation but i will get there asap lol apart from that this 2310 is just amazing, she is a half size plant wen compared with the rest of them testers, but she is so damn perfect with this amazing combination of perfect inner node space and beautiful leafs that for that 4 testers are by far the most beautiful and perfect ones, i will take some photos of them wen defoliating , just amazing. and as the week starts to get to an end the room starts also to look way, i mean way to full truly need to get my hands dirty and shave them legs an all on these girls hihihi started the extra feedings hihih with this i mean i am now giving her once a week some flower booster as well some extra P and K since the pellets on the soil provably should be running out soon and since this is all organics i need to think ahead of time on these things and try my best to lisening and understand what my girls need As always thank you all for stopping by and for supporting me on this journey, i am super passion about growing and fell blessed to have you all with me on this new journey <3 <3 <3 Genetics - Fast Buds Tester 2310 Ligth - LUMATEK ZEUS 465 COMPACT PRO

I had trouble with my humidifier set up so she only took 5 days to hand dry . Fortunately I purchased a programmable humidifier so moving forward it’s all gravy. After everything was cut from branches & weighed she ended up yielding 20gs of some airy foxtaily bud. I knew this would be a disappointment so we’ll just wait to see what the smoke is like , what the smell is like , & what the taste is like .

Day 26 of veg went to pheonix for a couple days and i forgot to set my timer, so my lights where off for 4 days 🤦‍♂️ got a little streching going on and yellowing, im confident its because the light was off

This week I have finally moved in to flower. I lollipoped the ladies on 4/20, after a day they seemed to be unstressed so I flipped them to 24 hr darkness and then 12/12 cycles.

Such a wonderful plant. Great shape no stress (yet) stacking well and getting frosty. She has a great sweet smell with a definite berry fruit smell that leaves my mouth watering. Very different from the funk coming from the purple urkle.. Another thankful shout to lassos for putting me straight with my pH issues. If you want to know about it it's in my other diaries. The girls are stretching nicely and looking healthy as can be. I added the second trellis for extra support when the buds will be ripening in late flower. There’s already some early ice, on the fan leaves too, so that’s a good start! Some pheno’s seem a little quicker with creating flowers, but since these are f1 seeds it’s not so crazy that there’s some difference. It looks like I’ve got either 3 or 4 quite different pheno’s, which is exiting. I’ll do a big defolation on day 21 of 12/12 so you’ll see that in the next weekly update 👌🏻

Day 96, 15th of December 2020: Hi! A bit late I was on holiday I usually start the week with the first day but now with the last one. I needed to put a stick there and fix here because she is so so strechy that easily breaks.... This genetics is amazing not just because the way she acts and grows but OMG the fan leaves are full of teichomes and even the fan leaf "holder"... never seen smthg like that tho... Now she looks more pretty and yes I managed to break one stem but fixed so it did not come off just broke..... I could tell a lot more but pictures and video speak feel free to look around. I am going on holiday again and back on 28th of December so after harvest starts. She would be ready absolutely sticky nice amazing must be very strong. The 7th weeks starts with tomorrow 16th of December.... Only flushing and no more nutritient is used. Soon full report comes. Lamp is the same 11 hours on and 13 off.... The last 4 days she will get 4 days darkness and only ventilation will be working no even more water ;)

week 5. oct 9 I believe I am getting the calmag deficiency corrected - none on new leaves. one stretched to 23 inches by 10-16. growing about 1.5" a day. the middle plant is at 15.5" 10-16. growing over an inch per day. hopefully they stop next week when they are flowering. the back plants definitely show signs of flowers with the hairs starting to grow. Interestingly the plants at the front seem a few days behind.

Day 43 : Watering with co2 tab / 5L. Also added food again because i think they need it. Increased ppm to 850. Maybe the next one will be pure water. Ventilation works all the time when lights are on. Temp and humi are stable and this is good for the girls. She has a lot of burns and i dont know why. Dont want to flush or something. I will let her take her way. Patience is the key always. Also removed some burned leaves from all ladies. She took 4cm in 3 days, so i guess stretching finished and start bud production. Edit (Day 47) : Watering with co2 tab every 5L. DsD drank pure water because of burns. She has lost a lot of leaves from bottom. I dont know what to do. I will keep watering her with pure water to see if burns stabilized.
