This week will be day 56 on a very good grow. The girls seems to be happy in their environment . Both plant are growing at a fast rate . But the Power plant fem have been growing taller with no real pistol showing . The strawberry banana auto seems to grow wider. And is in an early flowering stage Still have some small amount of yellowing of leaf 🍁 tips on both plants nothing major . The strawberry 🍓 banana 🍌 auto has a glorious smell coming from it now mmhmm it’s also not the same smell twice 🤷‍♂️ but it smells great . No major issue so far the girls seem to be going strong 💪 . Also been doing some light defoliating of fan leaves I may top the power plant she’s getting to tall . May need to do more defoliating on the strawberry 🍓 banana 🍌 auto since the buds are coming in a lot more rapidly.

So first of All i have to say this strain is recommendable. It is Not a heavy gitter that is for Sure, but it delivers a pleasent high with a relaxing Note. Flowering takes a little longer then it said but that is alright. i harvested at about 5% amber coulored trichomes. I will give this strain a try i would recommend taking clones during flower, due to the exploding growth paterns afterwards. Cheers to everyone who had a look Frugo

Die Woche ist sehr gut verlaufen finde ich, jetzt sitzt sie in dem neuen Topf und kann größer und stärker werden :) sie hat sich nun an das neue Licht gewöhnt. Sie ist auch ein gutes Stück gewachsen und es geht echt zügig:) Anfangs hingen ihre Blätter sehr vermutlich weil es zu trocken dadrin war, seit dem habe ich eine Schale wasser im Schrank zur befeuchtung und sie sieht wieder sehr stark aus :) Auch die Seitenarme kommen sehr schön durch Der Topf sollte etwa 2-3 Liter höchstens haben und ich muss nun in der 7. Woche mit Grow nachdüngen weil sie noch nicht die entsprechende Größe hat ^^ Ich habe auch hier kein enhancer benutzt die Woche. Ich giese mit 2-3 kleinen Shotgläser am Tag Sind ca 0,1 l am Tag

Trying to dial their veg in. Nutes may be too old or too high. Changed with 4ml CaMg per gallon of RO water. The rest is MaxiGrow. Ever since adding rockwool to the grow, I have struggled. I don't have the dry back timed right yet. I moved my fan to dry the top of the pot surface instead of in the root zone or at the canopy height. After about 10 days I dumped out the rockwool and have replaced with hydroton. My initial though on using rockwool was to give the roots more space during late life stages. My experience has been with hydroton and I notice that the roots eventually get bound because the hydroton is a durable material and will not crush or compact. Rockwool on the other hand will compress when squeezed so I was hoping that in the late life stages the roots would compress the rockwool and make more room in the pots. The issue was dryback. If I used chunks instead of croutons, this may help but the other reason I used them was because I had them here already. If anyone is trying to slow their dryback down, they should consider adding 10% volume of croutons to hold moisture in the medium a bit longer. Notice anything different? They are starting to adapt to their new media. Hopefully by next week I can get them to perk up. One plant has looked better than the other three. I have no idea what these plants need to “perk up”. Possibly a different grower. If a grape terpine wasn’t in the end results I would have culled these long ago. Hopefully they perk up when we get to flower. 3 look ,,,, meh, the fourth is descent. Trimmed all four back down to 12” tall. Flower next week.

Color change time and more swelling😃👍 The fade coming from MM1 is awesome 😎 staring at her all the time. The smells coming off these girls is crazy. I find myself opening the tent zipper half way and then just letting the fan blow the aromas in my face for a minute😅😍🔥 Large citrus notes but a beautiful earthy under tone of a fresh morning dewy breeze.......F’n love it @emeraldtriangleseeds 😉👏 I was a little worried about this strain with the description of long and large for a grow but it’s been just fine. SCROG kept the height under control and they don’t appear to be taking longer than the other girls and all seem to fading similarly. Will start looking at trichomes soon but haven’t been too worried about them so far......we will be going a full 9 weeks, plus, anyway. The girls are drinking well with being watered almost everyday. Moving into the phase of letting the pots dry right out before adding more water to ensure they are finishing all the nutrients in the media. Again, really just keeping them watered when they want it and taking pictures at this point😎 Little more detail….. Mar 27/21, Day 50 - 4L plain water at 6.0pH - colors coming out on MM1 are impressive. - MM2 is going to be greener in the end.....she is slow to fade. Mar 28/21, Day 51 - 4L watering today with RO water. - 30ppm and 6.1pH Mar 29/21, Day 52 - cold in the tent today so turned the heater back on to brin up to 77 degrees. It was holding at 74, a little low. - nothing watered. Mar 30/21, Day 53 - 4L watering with tap water at 5.8pH - MM2 is not showing much fade. Mar 31/21, Day 54 - watered late in the day with only 3L of RO water - 25ppm and 6.1 pH Apr 1/21, Day 55 - dry out day Apr 2/21, Day 56 - light power reduced again and down to 300 watts. - plain water with tap. - 3L each 280ppm and 6.1pH Through week 8 and going into 9 now. Ginger Nut Cookies & Aussie Music Videos Week 16 Harvest 17 th April 2020 This Entire feminised seed making and growing project was a very good learning experience for me. Right from the very start, when I successfully got a Cutting ,taken from a Barneys Farm Red diesel female plant to produce feminised pollen after treating it with a silver thiosulfate solution. I then used it to pollinate a Fastbuds Girl scout cookies auto plant and let it grow to maturity. This only produced 3 viable seeds one of which is the subject of this Diary. I made up the name "Ginger nut cookies" after a variety of cookies we have here in Australia that are made with ginger. They are the same colour as the distinct red hairs on the red diesel buds. And would you believe those same vivid red hairs were passed on to this plant so I wasn't too far off the mark with the strain name. Her flavour however is nothing like red diesel or girl scout cookies and infact as taken on a smell and aroma all of it's own. She has a lovely tropical fruit like taste and the smell is a bit like fruit yoghurt. It has an unreal after taste on the exhale and the lingering second hand smoke smells very sweet and enticing. She has a pretty well balanced high too not as potent as the GSC nor as energenic as the red diesel but just a pleasant mix of the two. It was a very easy to grow and undemanding plant that didn't seem to require a lot of extra feeding other than the 100% organic nutrients that were within the soil and a few things like compost teas etc. The other element of this diary was of course the weekly Aussie music videos That I provided the links for and put up a little video clip preview of each Artists song.
