the weather in germany is still totally changeable. temperatures from 10 degrees at night to 30 degrees during the day. and lots of rain. but it is growing incredibly well for the conditions.

Hey yall, Temps were high, but under control now. My girls were droopy despite having moist soil. After a good compost tea they bounced right back. Pistol hairs are showing, haven't grown this specific cultivar before so the bud structure is a but different than others I am familiar with. Let's see what she does moving forward. I am not a super fan of these genetics. Already have new seeds I am ready to start once these ladies are done. Over all the Strawberry Diesel from Beaver Seeds is not a noob grow, you need to have your grow dialed in. And really be careful with PM. I am keeping humidity as low as I cam while still maintaining a decent VPD. Challenges with this strain definitely turns me off. Looking forward to a new cultivar, already have some genetics from Michigan, those cats are really something else, they are hellbent on being better than the West coast. And they are in my humble opinion 😌 ☺️ Pure Michigan looks good, also Honey Sticks Genetics out of Maine is killing it, their Bananaconda 4 tested over 40% total cannabinoids. They want like 3k per cut, so that won't be my next, but looking forward to new genetics nonetheless. Anyways made some new ferments, remember to use equal parts organic sugar, Jaggery is best, that is the closest form of sugar to the sugar cane plant. Cover with paper towel, 2 to 3 days later let gravity give you all that juice, don't squeeze it to get more. Keep that juice in the fridge, that is your food. Then add water to the solids and keep at room temperature for 3 months to make a vinegar. That is your cleanser. A 4 hour planned power outage in my area gave me the excuse to flip the girls. Kept the lights off for a cycle then immediately went 12/12. Although the temperature dropped to a root freezing 58°F, the reservoir didn't have a chance to fluctuate much and I also kept my air pumps running for an extra hour and a half off my computer backup battery! The battle with root rot is basically over. I am taking care to rinse the roots every once and a while. Growth has been amazing! Loving DWC! It also gives me things to do as I lie to pay attention to my plants. Doing a thorough clean with H2O2 every res change. PPM is around 800-900. Drops fast now. Every two days I check PH and correct if necessary. Usually it's been around 6.2-6.3 when I check. I PH it back down to 5.8. I've heard that flowering is a little on the acidic side so I'm planning on dropping my PH to 5.5-5.6. Did a major defoliation after this diary entry. Will do another in three weeks. So, the nutrient lock is fixed, the humidity is under control, and these ladies are looking super vigorous. We will flip very soon as the stretch will fill out any holes in the SCROG net. We will also clear the bottom of these plants in the next day or 2, taking lots of clones and making sure we have that SOG. We have introduced some workers, 10 praying mantis to keep an eye on any pests.. the video of the mantis is from another grow, not the OG kush Light is about 70% ATM and i will turn up to 80% today, Spiderfarmer have kindly sponsored us with a Light controller, that arrives imminently and as soon as it does, it's week 1 of flowering and the light will go to 80% - then 90, then 100.... We have had serious rain here, the relative humidity outside is 90% and the temp is 31 degrees. We continue to feed with our own nutrient schedule. I am finding it difficult to get my camera to take photos and videos with the proper colour hence the double videos! It is unreal how thicc these are getting!! They smell wonderful! The other two plants are starting to show a bit more of their red/purple colours too! Noticing a bit of potassium stress from feeding but since they are nearly finished (I STILL CANNOT BELIEVE THAT!) I am only going to pull back a bit. They just need to survive another 14-21 days by the looks of them!

Cookies and Cream is growing great she has a frost starting and colas are developing nicely. I did a solution change 4 days ago. Been getting the ph stable again since. I had minor spots on leaves from it. Beside that everything is looking good. 8/16 Watered before feeding two gallons to the garden. Defoliated a bit and noticed an open folded leaf that inchworms must've crawled out of. Also found another japanese beetle today. They are in the area but this far I've only found four. Up the road they've skeletonized plants so I'm crossing my fingers. Next year that's one thing I'm doing for sure. Bird netting. No pillars and no japanese beetles. Can't be that expensive. I may need to do another treatment. Of Spinosid or BT to be safe. I haven't seen much fresh damage like I had before on lower branches. Plants seem to go more into flower everyday. Dreamcatcher furthest along followed by a seedling in a 5 gallon then blueberry and ice cream cake is bringing up the rear. This is when the fun starts. I've put a lot of time and money in since March. Temps are lower today seems like it's going to be a great day. 8/17 didn't water. I figured I'd let things dry out. Defoliated a shit ton of yellow leaves. Every day plants seem to be flowering at a rapid pace. I plan to apply another treatment of BT as a saw another inchworm nest. Also found a japanese beetle that I think is responsible for some of the damage I've seen. 8/18 Soil was dry so I gave it a good watering. Buds are developing extremely fast. I can't believe the changes I see on a daily basis. Still damage. At least it's not destroyed by the japanese beetles like some of the neighboring plants. I did have to defoliate a lot of yellow leaves after this last feed. I know about sensenece and I had the same issue last year. It still seems worrisome to see leaves die. Temps swing thirty degrees here so that might be a contributing factor. I hope it's not some kind of nutrient lockout. Don't know how to tell but I know I don't feed much or often to try to avoid that. I haven't flushed and I really don't want to. Next year super soil. I need to do another preventative spray and go over during the dark. Will update as I go. 8/19 Hurried morning and plants were wet so I didn't water. Looks like it's going to rain. Plants went through a huge growth spurt and buds are developing at a rapid rate but I haven't gotten to the reason why the old big fans turn yellow and drop. Especially since it's after a growth spurt. I probably need to flush. It started at the bottom at first but it's moved up a little. I'll update further today. UPDATE: Went back over and fed two gallons to the garden. Replaced 1tbsp tiger bloom with 1/2 Kool bloom and no microbe brew. Plants seem like they need nitrogen. After finding three sets of leaves with moth eggs and finding what looks like septoria or another fungal infection on the plant outside the cage in the 30 gallon tote. I almost put the ax to it but for now it's just isolated. Stalk is bigger than the ax handle so I'll let it do its thing but not with my other girls. I need to spray BT but I also need to treat WPM. I'll check maybe I have some lost coast plant therapy left. 8/20 No water. Plants were wet. Lost another shit ton of yellow leaves. May be WPM that has progressed. Treated the garden early am with lost coast plant therapy. Will update further today. UPDATE: Took a short video I'll upload tomorrow. Made the decision to water as plants were dry. Probably should've waited but it's been so hot. Humidity is ridiculous. Plants look cleaner after LCPT. Buds developing fast. Looking back on my old journals and seeing the same questions pop up from last year is reassuring. I need to order more LCPT and I also need to get in and prune any shoot that has dead stuff on it. There is some more on the interior I should take as well. I spent a good deal of time (twice) today defoliating and making sure everything yellow was gone in case of a fungal infection. 8/21 Didn't water. Looks overcast. Plants are transitioning to flower. They seemed to like the last feeding. I think I may have been underfeeding. I defoliated what needed it and the dead stuff but there wasn't as much. I can still see WPM this morning. It's just so humid here and it's been raining EVERY night. I'll probably use vinegar or h2o2 tonight. With all the moths and moth eggs I've been finding it wouldn't hurt to do an application of BT. I also need to keep an eye on my ice cream cake. Plant is enormous and it's only in a 20 or 30 gallon bag. I can't remember which. Anyway maybe it's just the lighting but it doesn't seem as rich green as it was. I'll keep an eye on them. 8/22 No water as it's raining. That hurricane Henri is supposed to around here today or tomorrow. I'll have to check but I think I'm fine. My supports are sturdy. I'll do a double check but things seem fine. Flowering nicely. It's kind of discouraging that it's been raining every night and the rh is always ridiculous as of late. The fog this morning was horrendous. It's like I could cut it with a knife. Let's see if it is going to rain tonight. If not I'll spray.

Letting soil dry before harvest, th strain is underestimated by growers, great buds and smells like cherry cola, they loves cold temperatures.

I topped and trained them two more times. I also lolipopped them, that is cut the bottom 2 sets of leaves and branches.

Plants really very resistant and above all resinous.. I'm sorry not to have even posted the vegetative phase, it will be for next time.. With them I used a substrate filled for about half with light-mix cocomix perlite humus guano kalong ( bloom) mycorrhite ..the upper part only Light-mix with perlite coconut.. In the vegetative phase I gave them only the root juice the few nutrients already present in the light-mix.. The light that I used is a 205w Black-dog phytomax 2-200.. The total of the light must be subdivided as well as their two also another Peyote C. n ° 2 LSD autoflowering (for the whole first month of flowering) n ° 3Cookies Kush (in the last two weeks).. So the final weight in flowers has probably been affected enough ...but the quality is the quantity of the resin and it was really exceptional .. Vaporizer test (mighty / ghosmv1) 180/185/190 °..taste on the classic line of kush, but with sweet notes of vanilla, coffee in mix with an earthy and pungent base, but not persistent.. Very good ... Relaxing effect but not by "locking sofa".. Mind quite clear and focused..like good kush .. Of Critical has taken a lot in the structure of the plant, but also a little bit in the flavor with some fresh" notes "referable to some fruit like mango / lemon, just a pinch.. I think it is suitable for making extractions.. With secondary peaks and resin-laden leaves I will most likely make a coconut oil, to eat alone or in a mix where I happen to be.. The seeds germinated after 1-3 days, 1x runtz unfortunately did not germinate. 3 Days after the germination the plants were growing too quickly so I repot them them in deeper and increased the light intensity to 50% = 100 watts. When repotting in biobizz light mix, the plants were also given a load of Mykorrizah from Great white premium.
