Lookin good, no more herms so far as I’ve tightened things up hopefully that’s the last of them for good. I installed a 4Inch AC infinity fan and filter as an intake so I have been able to close all of the vents. At this point the leaf strip has proven to be a solid method, I have nothing to compare bud size at this point but just the extra space it opened up is a plus. I’m sure the lowers will be a little more firm and the plants obviously haven’t had to be fed as often as usual so its saving time, water and nutrients. The added microbes have also allowed me to keep my ppm around 1000 instead of 1080ish without any sign of deficiencies. The Mandarin cookies x Dionysus has a little cal-mag issue but that was a trait from the mother which out of 10+ grows all had a cal-mag deficency. Another amazing week, stretch is starting to slow down so the stacking begins and I'm pretty happy with how big the buds are considering the set up I'm currently running. Excited to see what happens next! At the start of week 4, I opened my tent to see one of my girls (Watermelon Zkittelz) had fallen over and was on the floor laying against the tent wall. Soil was everywhere and when I picked her up I noticed a few broken branches 😫 what upsets me, I have no idea how long she was on her side broken like this. So I wasted no time, I didn't have any time to waste, and so I taped her up as fast as I could. Cleaned the tent and then tried figuring out how this happened. I'm thinking it was the platform I had her on, along with her being super top heavy maybe? I didn't think she would be so top heavy yet but I think it's the mixture of those two things. Anyway, at the end of the day, she's doing fairly well considering. The branches I taped have responded well so far. We shall see if it holds up! I had another branch off the same plant break in half and I taped her immediately and she seemed to recover fast. She's very resilient! I just realized I was promoted to Aprentice from Newbie!! I hope breaking branches doesn't make me a newbie again 🤣 Cheers to that!! Thank you fam! For the nutrients, this week I added the lovely Aloe Vera Juice I make from my Aloe Vera plant. I also added more of Organic Barley Grass powder I made from Organic Alka Green powder. I used this on one of plants during vegetative stage and she loved it so I've been adding this to my feeding schedule every other week and they girls are loving it so much! So many amazing nutrients are in these tabs. The only reason I decided to use them and expierment was because I was on a very tight budget, still am but anyway I looked in my cabinet for any organic nutrients I could potentially use with my cannabis plants. To my suprise it's worked out amazing!!

All appeared well with this Lady until yesterday 🤦‍♂️🤷‍♂️ I noticed a small discoloured patch on one of the top buds, it had the start of what appeared to be bud rot 😿 Asked a couple of mates their opinion and we’ve all come to the same conclusion. I’ve checked the rest of the plant and can’t see any signs of any more. She’s meant to be coming down in 7 days, but that may have to be pushed forward. I’ve bought some more fans (5 to be precise) they should arrive today, so hopefully that should help. I’ve needed to upgrade my fans for a while, wish I’d sorted it out sooner. I’ve added a video at the end showing the bud in question. Don’t be surprised if this diary updates as finished in the next few days, until next time 🌱💚

I accidently snapped the main stem at the base during the first week of flower essentially super cropping her. Electrical tape and lint roller tape on the inside was used to hold the main stem up straight. she healed very well and then took off into a monster. I would have liked to take her further but she could not support her own weight and used that as a sign she was ready. At that point I had already been using electrical tape to hold the the steams together for the previous 2 weeks. Would be interesting to see how this strain would grow in my bigger 20 and 30 gal fabric pots as I struggled to keep up with organic dry amendments, especially calcium and magnesium, almost every watering calmag and lime dust was used for the last month of the grow. Currently harvesting 2 other think different strains and have been preparing 3 smaller pots for either some RQS Titans or a competition strain if I receive something in the post in the next 2/3 weeks. I have been growing for 5 years now from Chronic Nerve pain and I did not get past the flowering stage in my first grow, necessity is the mother of all drivers and if you want good bud, don't stop trying.

The purple punch cookies is looking happy. Will be switching them to flower in a week or less. I gave them a flush and fresh nutrients. The humic acid really makes a huge difference in the uptake of nutrients. I am at about half dose on nutrients compared to what I would have to feed without it. Winter is approaching and bringing the low humidity with it. All of the humidifiers I have tried either dont work or I have to constantly refill the tank. So I decided to use my redneck engineering skills to throw this humidifier together. It holds 4 gallons of water and she pumps like a freight train. I have dubbed her the Steam Queen. I got 2 cool mist foggers that put out about 400ml per hour each and used some things I had around to make them a little float. Added an old computer fan to force the mist out through a 2 inch pipe. She won't win any beauty contests but she pumps out plenty of cool moist air. I also upgraded my exhaust to a variable speed for more added environmental control. Just going to do a little more training over the next week then try to make some buds.

Hi growers! Milkyway has started forming very hard flowers covered with trichomes and the smell of the flower is really amazing!
