Another week has flown by! The girls are doing great, cruise control this week as I have just been monitoring RH and temps. Trying to keep them as low as possible, I’ve been getting as low as 74 during the day and 68 at night. I finally took a look a look at the trichomes with my jewellers loop, lots of cloudy, and a few amber around the leaves and top colas, but still lot’s of clear trichomes. I’ve ordered myself a wireless/usb digital microscope to assist with the process, and looks like it will be here just in time to determine harvest day. 😎🎄 I started by eliminating the nutrients at the beginning of the week. I typically allow for 3-4 pure water feeds before I harvest, and at the rate they have been drinking, this should be enough to get through the 7-12 days they have before harvest. I don’t flush, but rather “rinse” with normal water amounts, allowing the plant to use up the remaining nutrients in the soil. This also allows me to recover most of the soil from my grows and reuse ♻️ with other soil mix. There has been great debate and a great deal of bro science out there for many years, but the recent studies suggest there is no difference in end result when it comes to flushing or using nutrients right until the end, if a proper dry and cure is performed. I was asked to show the whole plant 🌱 For the first 3 weeks I grew it in a 4 inch pot. When I discovered it was a female and it had really nice purple flowers , I transplanted it to a 1 gallon bag. It was intentionally meant to stay small and not branch out much. This is how I manage breeding large numbers. Structure is still easy to determine this way, I just watch which plants show prominent node growth compared to others. Both this girl and her purple male counterpart had great node growth. I select plants for structure. I watch how much effort each plant puts into its nodes. This plant has excellent structure. I intentionally stunted its growth due to my limited space and because I was dealing with large numbers of plants to find this one! I will continue to grow them small so I can explore all the seeds. I have a lower number of seeds than I had hoped for due to male freakshows being really pathetic pollinators and it being my first time working with male freakshows! I’ll be ready this time. I hope I find this exact massive bud pheno again!

Defoliated some of the bigger fan leaves, I know it may be risky technique but since she has grown into the tent, space is tight and in order to maximise flower sites, I decided to remove some foliage to get better coverage. Flowering is taking off and have decided to increase the dosage of the nutrients to see if she can handle the feeding, she has grown quickly in the last couple of days and want to see if I can push her to the maximum. Healthy and happy plants, no more issues with spidermites (Thank goodness!), no more needing to treat a flowering plant (if I had to, I would drench the plant in a mixture of H202, liquid dishwashing detergent and water to ensure that buds are not covered with nasty chemicals). Clones have been taken and in this pic, can be seen that it has rooted, clones were taken off during defoliation session during 2nd week of flower.

This week was a little rocky. Two girls on the outer edges are good, but the middle one is drooping and foxtailing already. It's weird because my middle plant was larfy last run as well. I might push her to the corner and let her do her thing with less attention... because I just got a photoperiod runtz clone that's gonna need some space and perhaps its own light. LST seems to be going well for the other two though. Sometimes with autos, it's just a genetic thing. They can be temperamental girls sometimes.

I can see this strain having a great yield and quality potential with consistent optimal conditions, but haven’t found it the most resistant to any nutrient and ph imbalance or fluctuations.

This is a perfect strain for a beginner as it’s so resilient but also good for a more experienced as she can be topped and trained and have huge colas. I would recommend everyone grow Grapefruit 🌱🌱🌱

Starting out great in the begining of week 3 we had a little accident in week 2 were her pot fell over an she got a little roughed up but she came back nice an strong can deffinetly tell she stalled out for a day or 2 tho other then that she's been growing great seems to be loving this fold 6 led from medic grow Ending week 3 the Tropicana Cookies is doing pretty good now she's not doing as good as the other auto but seeing how we had a little accident with her she's doing pretty good deff loving the cronk nutrients

(gave her 100ml of just PH 6.5 water) 27/10/2019 - Feeding day, gave her 250ml water with 0.25ml Biobizz Grow, 6.4PH (changed feeding to once every 2 days with a plain water interval) 28/10/2019 - Started LST 30/10/2019 - Feeding day, gave her 250ml water with 0.25ml of each Biobizz - Grow,Bloom and Max, 6.3PH, added carbon filter and it raised the temps to 29c 31/10/2019 - A tad too much of nuts, little burn tip. (Sensi Seeds warned me but I still goofed it)

On week 2 the woolrock got some mohoo, i fixed it by putting water mixed with "safe roots" from Hydrotek directly into the rockwool superfice. After a couple days that problem was solved and the plant kept growing very well. And also i started to train the plants (lst)

it's been a very good week 💚 I feel a little bad for this plant cause it's getting a little squished by the other two but I'm ddfinetly not complaining😅🌱. started giving 5l of water per plant every 5 days. runoff shows that they are not over or under fed :) and pH is about 6.3. very very very happy with this grow 💚 Barney's farm amazing as always
