Hello Growmies, As we conclude the sixth week with our Epic Buzz plants in the Tent-X Ultimate Grow Showdown, we've seen substantial growth and faced some climatic challenges head-on. The plants have thrived under a regimen of defoliation, lollipopping, and scrogging, developing into robust specimens ready for the flowering stage. The extended watering intervals and the consistent application of our chosen nutrient blend, Alga Grow, Sugar Royal, Power Roots, and Orca, have supported their vigorous development, ensuring they are well-nourished and hydrated. However, managing the environmental conditions, particularly during the night, has presented some hurdles. The recent introduction of a custom-built extraction box has been our latest strategy to combat the high humidity levels we've been battling during the lights-off period. This innovative solution has shown promising results, offering a more controlled grow atmosphere by extracting humid air directly outside, preventing it from lingering in the lung area of our setup. Despite this improvement, the integration of the Mars Hydro fan with the Tent-X system remains unresolved, leading to less than ideal fluctuations in our VPD levels. The lack of support from Mars Hydro, Secret Jardin, and even TrolMaster in providing clear guidance for this integration has been a stumbling block. We're considering a shift back to the reliable Prima Clima system, known for its seamless compatibility and ease of use. In the spirit of community and shared growth, we're reaching out for any advice on connecting a 5-phased PWM motor to the TrolMaster controller. The collective wisdom of this community has always been a guiding light, and any insights would be greatly appreciated. June 22: planted peat pot into final 5 gallon grow bag. Tore bottom off peat pot and ripped sides. Warm overnight so she’ll be outside for first time. June 23: first hot days of summer. Late to start autos but with warm weather they will start quickly. June 28: not much change in the first few days but she should start growing quickly here soon. Gave first compost tea this morning.

I had to move my girls outside into the garage they had to go into a smaller tent aswell i didnt bother to put the scrog netting again but things are looking good

And with such a small tent l=small yield im not in the heavy criminal scene. But sry law. Since the first time I smelled weed, not smoked, I knew. THIS IS IT! 24.09. 😛 💪 Nice girl.

This week the photoperiod girls continued to show steady growth and healthy development. Their leaves are a rich green, with wide blades and strong node stacking. The plants are branching nicely without excessive stretch, which means the 18-inch, 50% light setting is still working perfectly. The cover crop has taken off and is providing great soil protection, though it may need some trimming soon to prevent light competition. Humidity and pest prevention measures (sticky traps, nematodes applied earlier) are keeping things stable with no major pest pressure noted. On the feeding front, the plants have been living off the nutrients in their soil with no deficiencies showing. The plan is to water with silica tonight (Sept 3) to strengthen cell walls and prep them for training. Topping is scheduled this week as well — this will help shape the canopy and encourage even bushier growth moving into later veg. Overall, Week 4 has been smooth and productive. The plants are thriving in their environment, setting the stage for training and stronger structural development in Week 5.

Did a strip/defoliation on all of them. She's catching up with the rest nicely and looking great. Will be feeding them all Terra Bloom from now on, still no mildew or bugs thanks to spraying cannacure weekly. Also, the subtle colors I spotted (hard to get a clear pic) are developing nicely, but some leaves are turning, twisting and curling, my first guess is that I've overwatered her, she's quite a bit smaller (more 'skinny', and flowering slower) but I've been watering here the same as the other two, might need to let her dry up a bit longer than the others.

12/16/2021 Recovery is a success! A little raggedy but putting on decent growth in last couple day's. Also need to decide if I top or mainline the two tops? Going to feed her today and see how she grows this week then decide what action is appropriate. She actually has 4 tops! Three are more developed but if you look closely there is 4. I kind of want to let it grow, although it may cause a split later on😕 . So still thinking on it.

I’ve added VPD to my dashboard and have now dialed in my climate for a perfect VPD. Home assitant dashboard controlling lamp, up/down humidity and cooling. Exhaust is going to be used to scrub the air and back into the tent. After adding C02 I’m now doing a sealed grow to take better control of the environment. I was dealing with high temps I put a evaporative cooler just in case if I need to up the humidity or lower the temps.
