10/11/24 she had gotten so overly dry that she was impossible to water. i had to scrape and break of the dry spots all around the soil and root ball so that water could penetrate. she was root bound from a solo cup and then as well from 1 gallon to 3 gallon. once the rootbound spots got overly dry, they became super hydrophobic and i didnt realize how bad it was. that may be what's been affecting the over all health of the plant. finally able to get her to hold weight in water so im hopefull 10/15 pistils are getting thrown out everywhere. a bit of a stretch so far but not too much. maybe a couple inches or

Well well. In the end I've got 2 surprises. First - the mold in the main branch of the biggest plant.. The half of it was destroyed. The second surprise is the seed.. whoah.. Il see if it will grow. And meet my dog - Berny. She scares rick's portal gun. This year brought eough problems, so i can't say if ill grow, or even live next time, so please do not subscribe to my acc. Be cool in new year. I placed the 2 seeds in a damp paper towel and placed it into a closed Tupperware. The tupperware was placed in my stereo cabinet (warmest place I could find) and less than a day taps roots were showing. I then placed them in my humidity dome and within 18hrs I had roots sprouting thru the bottom of the sponge. This has been the best start I have yet to have. I also built a new RDWC system with waterfalls to veg and flower these two in. I have photos and video above on the new tent setup. I have it running with just regular tap water until the seedlings are ready to go in. I have also installed a 90gpd RO system (APEC brand) under my kitchen sink. The water comes out 5.8ph and 7ppm. I will be using this RO water thru the entire grow with some Cal-mag of course. The system holds about 25 gallons total of water. The main res is 17 gallons and the two buckets are 5 gallons. I will no longer be using air stones. I have a recirculating pump in the main res, waterfalls in the buckets and of course the main pump running the whole system. Should be plenty of air for the roots. I used 2 in return pipes in the hopes of avoiding roots clogging the pipes. I scrogged last time but I'm not sure I will be going that route. I might just top and train. I will be doing a major defoliation on one and just simple trimming on the other. I am trying to find out if the risks of stressing the plant are worth the returns. This is my second growth in a suitcase, I got 30 grams of dry flowers from the first growth, but this growth together with FastBuds is obviously much better than the first one :) although the girl's leaves burn from the light, which is only 10-15 cm from the flowers, but the girl copes with it perfectly :) good luck to everyone.

The Bruce bangers are huge and falling under there own weight but no complaints here. They are starting to produce alot of trycomes and put on weight. I'm feeding them 600 ppm every 2 days and they could still use more just worried about burning but so far they are just hungry. I harvested the white widow girl they are hanging and will give a final harvest dry weight when they are dry. 2 of the widows got some good purple but all are fire. 🔥 thanks for looking happy growing and god bless.!

Hello! How’s it growing, duuuude? (Very smart joke going-growing haha). So the day has finally come. Week 9 sharp. day 63 - cut down two out of 3 girls. The trichs are good, the plants themselves are funny of course because of the nitrogen diet, the leaves are not fading, crunchy as pringles. Girl 1 has pretty dense buds and heavy, girl 2 is more airy and light but still enough for me ;) Girl 3 asked for some time to get herself ready and I don’t mind. However she is foxtailing As Fuuuuu. Could this be because of N overfeeding in flower? Cuz the temperatures are not THAT high. Anyway, she is welcome as she is. Already getting ready for round two. The soil ill go with will be biobizz light mix. And will be putting big bucks in the feeding. Probably will get the whole range of biobizz. Have purchased beautiful seeds from RQS This time i want to grow 2 plants instead of three to give them more air and light. I chose cookies to be one of the girls, but still not sure between Purple Punch and Mimosa. Maybe you have something to say? Collected all the leaves and waiting for the trim of ms. “Late to the party” and will be making canna butter and hope to bake some brownies for my wife to enjoy because she cant smoke in any form. Week 10 since switched to 12/12h. (it's in time if the first week of blooming is deducted.) Trichomes're 80% cloudy. I didn't find any amber trichome yet. Pistils are 50% orange 50% white. Today I started flushing the coco (a lot!). I really don't want any sign of fertilizer in my pot. So, from here no more food, only plain water. Suggestions are always welcome!

I started hitting them pretty hard with the nutrients this week and topped every one I could find. Might’ve fimmed one. I did a little early LST on them the whole week because the system I’m using grows woody stalks and if you wait too long you’ll never get a bend on them. They all more than doubled in size and technically this is week 3 day one of veg since they were put into the feeding system. I plan to get them another 8” taller with their new multiple tops and then place the scrog net over them. At this rate I’m guessing two weeks or a little more and they’ll be ready for the 12/12 flip.

This diary is going to be a day by day if I keep up. Unless I am on vacation I will take pictures every day. Sorry for some of the potato quality pics earlier on. After week 2 or so I'm going to only take pics with my camera flash. The first image is about a day after sprouting. No pictures for the pineapple for the first week as I wasn't sure if it was going to grow or perish. It must have had a mild root infection but it has won the battle against it as of now and is doubling in size daily after a week of not doing much. I am using a uv light in the reservoir. My method is using 3-D printer root sprayers to pump water directly to the roots, I also have an air stone in each 5 gallon bucket. I have an overflow on each bucket to drain the water back into the reservoir. I positioned the buckets on top of chairs to let gravity do its thing there. Humidity has been fine lately so I am not using the dehumidifier. Future grows I will get a controller to turn the dehumidifier on if needed. I wanted to clone these but realized it's not good to do with autoflowers so I have ordered regular feminized purple haze and cbd blueberry for my next grow. Stay tuned!

Hello everyone! I promised to track this grow very closely this time and ufortunately life got in the way. Here is a quick sumup of the grow. First of all- One of the sour stomper plants unfortunately didn't make it. It died at about week 4. The main stem somehow had rubbed/broken down. That's why it was falling down. It was almost like a mini beaver had chewed it off at the point where the stem touches the riot rooter. At first I thought nothing much of it, maybe it hasn't been rooted in quite well yet or something. And I was constantly touiching it when watering, that made it worse. Soo the leaves were dropping and the plant looked very weak. Then I decided cut thr rapid rooters top layer and found out the severity of the problem. Tried to tape it up and other things, but it was too late. At the end it appeared all good as the remaing plants got so big the I had some space issue so I wouldn't have been able to fit another plant in anyway. At that time I finally made my self-draining saucers. I took me a while and a lot of effort, but finally they were ready and working well. I also installed the self watering system and flowering was starting. Pretty soon I started noticing weird leaf symtoms. Brown spots, different kind. Some plants had it more, some less. Sour Stomper looked pretty good throughout the grow. Mango smiles seemed sensitive and Strawberry Nuggs were pretty strong until the end. The grow was basically me experimenting with the setup- changing watering schedules , changing ppm, ph and all that stuff to keep the leaves looking healthy and it was very hard I have to admit. Probably my hardest grow in that regard. But somehow, the bud leaves remained healthy and the buds really fattened up good. I got away with an amzing 700G dry bud harvest which was def a new record from one grow. And the bud quality is very good too! Next time definetly no more than 4 plants as they got pretty big and I thought it was a little overcrowded. I was doing some good defoliation too. I should have defolited strawberry nugs more tho. Sour Stomper got some amazing bud development from top to bottom because it was was growing next to strawberry nuggets which were really small most of the grow. They actually took the most time to harvest even longer than Mango smile. Mango smiles were ready quite early. Sour Stomper was just in time! I topped sour stomper and both Mangoi smiles, left SNs both normal. Looking back at it, the way I grow them, Should have topped SNs too. Would probably have more space in the middle and longer side branches. Probably wouldn't have been as bushy! I followed the full Terra aquatica feed chart until the end. I was supplementing with CalMag a lot as I thought the symptoms could have been from a CalMag deficiency as this was my first grow with RO water. Overall a very challenging but good grow at the end. First time no mold problems. A record breaking yield for me. Basically surpassed the upper limit for all plant probable harvest sizes. Got good smelling quality bud. Very happy overall and will continue experimenting with Mephisto beans in the future for sure! I guess what I like the most about Mephisto is how close to description the plant is, very stable genes in that regard. Next time I will also have to start feeding plants higher PPM feed faster at the very start. and during flowering. But still not 100% sure what caused the leaf symptoms.
