🌾 Harvest Day — The Grand Finale of the Eternity Grow Cup 🌾 Days 72–73 | Trimmed on May 25 | Posted May 27 What a journey this has been — and what a finish. These five incredible Runtz phenos have now completed their cycle, and today, we celebrate the final stage of their flowering life: the Harvest. We sent the girls into darkness on Day 70, allowing them a full 48+ hours of rest and reset. The dark period was just a bit longer, truth be told, because time… it flows as it must. This extended dark time helps increase resin production, allowing the trichomes to mature just that final bit more. On Days 72 and 73, we harvested them with care and reverence. Each plant was hung upside down, whole, in a perfectly controlled 60% humidity environment for 13 full days. Before hanging, we gently removed only the fan leaves, leaving all trichome-rich sugar leaves in place — a natural armor for the delicate resin glands during drying. Why do we do this? Because those sugar leaves help protect the essential oils and terpenes, preserving potency, flavor, and aroma for the smoothest experience later on. 🌿 The Dry Room & The Trichome Guardians Throughout the drying, we used a moisture meter to monitor the moisture content in the stems. Once it dropped to around 12–13%, we knew it was time. This tool is a simple but game-changing ally in ensuring a perfect dry — not too fast, not too slow. We then trimmed everything by hand over a 6.5-hour focused session. Armed with trim bins and good energy, we collected an abundance of glistening trichome heads in the process — a golden bonus from these resin-packed beauties. The leaves themselves told a story: deep purples, near-black shades, autumn fades and metallic tones — just stunning. Each girl was trimmed in order: #5 → #4 → #3 → #2 → #1, revealing dense, chunky buds all the way from top to bottom. Not a single pop-corn bud among them — only rock-solid nugs, heavyweight champions in every sense. 📦 Cure Begins – Grove Bags & Glass Jars Once trimmed, the buds were tucked carefully into Grove Bags and glass jars, each stabilized at around 61% RH. This part of the process — the cure — is where the soul of the flower truly comes to life. ☀️ UV, Reds & The Perfect Run Part of what made this run so special was the precision in light spectrum. 40% whites, full reds, UV and IR, and the girls responded like royalty. The UV pushed trichome development to the max. The deep reds gave us thickness, color, and weight. To my eyes, this was a perfect run. ⚖️ Final Yield: 1,302 Grams (1.3 kg) In a 4x4 tent — that’s just 1.2m x 1.2m for metric friends — we pulled in 1,302 grams of flower, not even counting the buds that were taken for filming, photos, or “quality control testing” along the way. 😉 Dense. Loud. Sticky. Resinous. 🌿 The Hidden Half: A Tribute to the Roots In every grow, there’s a part we don’t always see — a part that lives underground, quietly holding everything together. The roots. And this time, I wanted to honor them too. When we unpotted the plants after harvest, we were met with massive, dense root systems, completely filling the Autopot trays. These roots were vibrant, white and healthy, looking like noodles in a thick herbal soup — a true sign of vitality. The Autopots system, combined with the Aptus Holland Clean Program and Plagron Green Sensation, made sure they had the perfect environment to expand, absorb, and thrive. 📆 Semana 6 – Permanent Jealousy XL Auto La floración avanza con fuerza. Los cogollos han ganado volumen notable, presentando una estructura más cerrada y densa. La capa de resina se multiplica y empieza a cubrir zonas que hasta ahora estaban limpias, como las puntas de las hojas más cercanas. El aroma se vuelve más afilado y complejo: dulzor cremoso con matices afrutados que se combinan con una base terrosa y un toque químico que recuerda a gasolina suave. Esta evolución del perfil terpenoide apunta a un bouquet muy expresivo al final. A nivel estructural, la planta responde bien: ramas fuertes, sin signos de flaqueza, aunque ya empieza a notarse algo de tensión en algunas laterales por el peso acumulado. La respuesta al plan de nutrientes es óptima: sin señales de excesos ni carencias, el verde sigue profundo y equilibrado. El ambiente se mantiene estable, y eso favorece una floración limpia. A estas alturas, cualquier estrés (temperatura, luz, riego) podría afectar la producción de terpenos o provocar detenciones parciales en el engorde. ¡Seguimos creciendo fuerte 💪!

Was having quite a bit of difficulty with leaves yellowing, turning brown, and dying off. Couldn’t figure out what the deal was. Finally I ended up getting the ph up/down kit with the wide range PH tester. Learned that lesson the hard way. Mid way through the week when it was delivered, I put a bit of water through and tested the run off… 4.5 🤦‍♂️ Can’t believe I overlooked this. Used fox farms sledgehammer and added ph up, put water in at about 7.5/8.0 and tested the run off again and ideal ph was attained. Hopefully smooth sailing from here on out.

Day 106, Flower Day 50. Looked at Trichomes this morning. GSC still showing some glassy/milky look. Bubba is pretty milky colored. Still needs at least a week. Went on vacation last week. Had somebody else water. They closed the door, so not as good air circulation. Bubba showed powdery mildew. Not yet severe, so I took the plant outside, trimmed off some fan leaves that showed mildew. Then I sprayed the entire plant with a 25% milk solution (whole milk) and let it dry. Back in the tent. Cranked up the inline fans and added a small fan to the Bubba tent. Just need a couple more weeks.

Metemos un último apretón de comida porque la planta lo pide y la resina y dureza de las flores me sorprende muy gratamente y el olor super fuerte!! Es una pasada como evoluciona de rápido y de bien. Se nota en alguna hoja como nos pidió un poco más de calmag y comida, pero están muy sanas y fuertes! Ya están cercanas a su última semana, ya tenemos a 30 cm el foco y las pequeñas están estupendas.😘😍

Die Verteilung der Wachstumsenergie durch die vorangegangenen Trainingseinheiten trägt weiterhin volle Früchte. Die Pflanze hat sich zu einem wunderschön symmetrischen, dichten Busch geformt. ​Zur Mitte und zum Ende der Woche hin ist das Triebwachstum extrem homogen fortgeschritten. Die sekundären Zweige haben vollständig aufgeschlossen, sodass sich eine gleichmäßige Spitzenstruktur gebildet hat. Das Laubwerk strotzt nur so vor Gesundheit: Die tiefgrünen, fächerartigen Sonnensegel stehen perfekt im Saft, zeigen keinerlei Mängel und fangen das Licht optimal ein. Die internodiale Dichte ist ideal, um eine perfekte Lichtpenetration für die kommenden Phasen zu gewährleisten. Die Dame strotzt vor Kraft und hat die vegetative Phase somit bravourös gemeistert – die Basis für eine fette Blüte steht!

Harvesting was a breeze. 350g dry weight but I didn’t weight it wet… The smell is to die for! So lemony at first but the gassy comes through after. By far my best auto grow!

1 plant was very ripe, 1 plant was almost perfect to harvest and the 3rd could take another 1-2 weeks...but it was end of 10th week of flower and i had to go on vacation, so i perhaps choped 1 plant abit too early....still awesome result!

Plant is growing fast. Top leaves and stems are growing darker and purple after new lamp and nutrients were added a week ago

Flowering! Return of the gnat issue this week. I am adding more gnat traps and adding a fan to point at the soil to dry it out. Lower leaves occasionally turn yellow and die off. About 5 a day. Still feeding RAW BLOOM at about 1.5tsps per gallon.

Week 8 of flower. Trichs still mostly cloudy, seeing a couple of amber colors here and there on the bracts.

Day 50, 29.05.2024 - Starting the week at 43cm height - No action today but to render timelapse for last week & watch them bloom. Day 51, 30.05.2024 - 600ml with nutrition (1ml grow, 3ml bloom, 4ml TopMax) for each as breakfast shortly after the lights turned on - removed 4 more leaves there were yellow. I think it has to do with the recent cut down on nutritions. This is why I will get back to the recommended fertilizer schedule in 48h with the next feeding. Day 52, 31.05.2024 No action today. Day 53, 01.06.2024 A round of drinks (600ml each) and food (4/4/4ml of grow, bloom & TopMax). Day 54, 01.06.2024 No action today. Day 55, 03.06.2024 - I am observing some more leafs getting yellow. I guess the plant is recovering N from the lower leaves to feed the buds. - Later today they will get their next feeding (600ml each, - again with 4/4/4ml of Grow, Bloom & TopMax) Day 56, 04.06.2024 "No action today" concludes week 8. All in all until today the grow is quite easy. No big issues. I just hope the yellowing of leafs will stop / revert after resuming to the standard nutrition schedule. So, I guess there are 3 weeks to go before harvest - let's keep em dry!
