This was the last week of Veg for these beautiful ladies. Installed the SCROG on Sunday afternoon, and they are already filling it in nicely. Started reducing light Thursday by 2 hours, so by Saturday they will be on a 12/12 light cycle to finish them off 🤗. Did some defoliation, and have been twisting and spreading the tops to fill the canopy screen. They are very thirsty, I had been watering every 3-4 days, and for the past week it’s been 2-3 and they are getting close to a full gallon each! I’ve Upped the light % gradually over the last 14 days from 50% to about 75% now in prep of flower. They have been responding well to the increases, as well as the extra heat generated. Temps are going up a bit, close to 81-82 degrees on very hot days here, but they are not too often. Average is about 79 degrees. Nutrients (P and K) were increased also in prep for the demand the flower makes as they begin. Looking forward to the good part. Happy growing 🇨🇦❤️🌱😎💨

Commencing Week 7: day 43 on January 12th Today I left the dirty girls (I call them that because they are in soil 😋) out of the tent for their first time in their lives to hang out with some new girlfriends (my photoperiod s). They seem very happy to be hanging out with them 👍👍 The other day I took one of my personal photoperiod Crosses and pollinated one of the bottom flowers of the bloody skunk, hopefully seeds will be coming soon :-) Today I started thinking about how much longer they have left and it seems the bloody skunk is nearing the finish Line already. In the beginning of this diary I wanted to achieve the goal of getting some autoflower seeds by taking one of the syrup strains and cross breeding it but none of my syrups strains made it from seed for some reason. So now I'm thinking about taking the top bud off of bloody skunk in the next week or two and letting the rest of the plant go through rodelization so I may still achieve that goal. We shall see. 1.5 - This lady had some fungus gnat damage and reveg'd a bit so I decided to practice my bubble hash method. I didn't even weigh it haha, I totally forgot but looks about .75oz (21g) Turned out really well! Very strong stoney, sedative high. I accidentally mixed my 76-120 and 120-220 from the first wash, during microplaning, so it's like 4.7* I think. The 25-76um is a little better. Totally worthy of a nail, though I wish I could give it a melt on some quartz to see. :) The other big, non-revegged LA Sunset looks completely different and is thriving. Expecting to put her in the dark this weekend.0 1.28 - I harvested the second full size LA Sunset and it is amazing. Gassy, chocolaty, very pungent.

Um die Stabilität der immer schwerer werdenden Blüten sicherzustellen, habe ich zusätzliche Netze aufgehängt. Außerdem habe ich die Beleuchtung von 400 Watt auf 720 Watt erhöht, um den Blüten noch mehr Energie zuzuführen und das Wachstum weiter zu fördern. Die Ergebnisse sind bereits sichtbar, mit dichten und kraftvollen Blütenständen, die sich vielversprechend entwickeln.

End of the first week in the NFT tank. Temperature was higher than normal because of the addition of a 315cdm in the middle if the two 600w dual spec HPS. I put three exhale co2 bags in the room to compensate for the higher temps.

Fruity Pebbles autoflower growing in the Blue Planet is going huge. I am pretty sire I had 2 different phenom types growing. She is starting to bulk and has lots of bud sites to fill. The tropicana cherry is a magnificent plant. Its stocky and stout with really great node space. I love how solid she is and i just see such a good foundation for stretch. A really explosive week of growth. I pushed PPFD up to 310umols. Dimmers are at 60% which is drawing 224w plus 18w of DRRB. I have alos started Emerson effect ... Another The Emerson effect is triggered by the simultaneous exposure of plants to light in the deep red and far-red spectra Deep Red 660 nm /Far-Red 700 nm . A bit of boring science that explains why you need both far red and deep red in order to trigger Emerson. The effect occurs because photosynthesis is driven by two distinct pigment systems working in series:Photosystem II (PSII): Absorbs energy most efficiently at shorter wavelengths (higher frequencies), like 680 nm (441 THz). Photosystem I (PSI): Absorbs energy most efficiently at longer wavelengths (lower frequencies), specifically 700 nm (428 THz). When you provide only the higher frequency (deep red), PSI becomes a bottleneck. When you provide only the lower frequency (far-red), PSII is not sufficiently excited to provide electrons. Providing both frequencies simultaneously allows both systems to work at peak efficiency, resulting in a rate of photosynthesis that is greater than the sum of the two lights used individually. To understand the Emerson Effect, think of photosynthesis not as a single engine, but as a two-stage assembly line. What is the Emerson Effect? Discovered by Robert Emerson in 1957, this phenomenon shows that plants perform photosynthesis much more efficiently when they are hit by two specific types of light at the same time: Deep Red (660 nm) and Far-Red (700+ nm). If you give a plant only Far-Red light, photosynthesis is very slow. If you give it only Deep Red, it's better but still limited. However, when you give it both at once, the total rate of photosynthesis is significantly higher than if you just added the two results together (1+1=3). What is Happening? (The "Assembly Line") Inside the plant's chloroplasts, there are two "workstations" called Photosystem II (PSII) and Photosystem I (PSI). They work in series, meaning the first one must pass "parts" to the second one. PSII (The First Station): This station is tuned to catch Deep Red light (660 nm). It harvests electrons from water. PSI (The Second Station): This station is tuned to catch Far-Red light (700 nm). It takes the electrons from the first station and uses them to create energy (ATP and NADPH). The Problem: If you only provide Deep Red light, the first station works fast, but the second station can't keep up because it isn't being "powered" efficiently by that specific frequency. This creates a traffic jam of electrons. The Solution: By adding Far-Red light, you power up the second station. It now "pulls" the electrons from the first station much faster, clearing the traffic jam and making the whole assembly line run at full speed. The Benefits for The Grow Because i am using the Biotabs water-only method, my plants already have a steady supply of organic nutrients. Implementing the Emerson Effect offers several distinct advantages: Increased Biomass: Because the "engine" is running faster, the plant produces more sugars and carbohydrates, leading to heavier fruits or flowers. Faster Finishing: Plants often reach maturity sooner because they have more surplus energy to complete their life cycle. Better Light Penetration: Far-Red light is very good at passing through the upper leaves. This "wakes up" the lower parts of the plant that would otherwise be shaded, allowing the whole plant to contribute to growth. Enhanced Secondary Metabolites: In many crops, this synergistic light can stimulate the production of terpenes and antioxidants, improving the "quality" (smell, taste, and potency) of the final harvest. The "Sunrise/Sunset" Trick I am using 4x Invisible sun Far red/Deep red bars,they use high-quality Samsung LH351H (660nm Deep Red) and specific Far-Red (730nm) diodes for 10–15 minutes at the start or end of the light cycle. This mimics the natural shift in light at sunrise and sunset, "waking up" the photosystems or signaling the plant to go into "sleep mode" faster, which can further optimize the flowering cycle. Enviromentally i am chasing a VPD of about 1,1kpa. My room seem to sit nicely at lights on at 24c with no real drama and a little help from a 220W greenhouse bar radiator. Its using abot 4kw/h a day atm because my room is attached to the side of my house and its been -5c.. I have had to add some humidity as its also very dry atm. Im aiming for RH of 65% with my 24c but it is more around the 62s.. VPD is crucial and is the focus for this grow for me. The autopots and Biotabs make it so easy ican really just focus on perfect enviroment. A VPD of 1.0–1.2 kPa provides enough "atmospheric pull" to move calcium and magnesium up from the roots, which is critical for the rapid cell division happening now.. Plants will be flipped on Saturday which is their week 5 as im a bit behind.. As this happens i will push PPFD upto 4-500umols. by week 2 of flower. Thats the plan anyway..

Premiers pistils le 9ème jour de floraison

Así es como empezamos la tercera semana,seguimos con humedad alta pero la vamos controlando.. Estos días da buen tiempo la humedad en la calle será mucho más baja así podré meter aire sin tanta humedad.. De momento todo bien en el cultivo ningún problema hasta la fecha. Ya podéis ver,y comentar sobre algo que veáis que yo no! Como dicen! Ven veinte ojos mejor que dos! 🖖 Día 12 Último fungicida prevención mutritis,hongos humedad. Primer riego foliar hormonas producción de flores. 🌹 Día 13 Nada en especial solo observar si veo algún cambio tras las hormonas,aún no veo grandes observaciones fuera de lo natural del paso de los días. En el día de mañana por lo que me recomendó el fabricante se verán los resultados a la vista! Comentar que seguimos con la iluminación al 100x100 de capacidad Marshydro sp3000 x2 Hero led Ignator t720 Yxo led 60w ir+un espectro completo En la siguiente semana me llega el nuevo driver de philips para poder conectar la lámpara de IR que pude adquirir a Yxo nuevamente! Lampara led espectro completo + IR 70w . Me vendrá muy bien para el pequeño espacio de la puerta que necesita más iluminación para poder desarrollar bien esas dos plantas,de la entrada. La humedad fue cosa del pasado. Evite el uso de desumificador eléctrico añadiendo varios de sales,deciros que funcionan muy bien no dan un control exacto pero mantienen una humedad interior estable para todo el periodo de floración! 50% de humedad lo demuestra! Hoy añadi un poco más de sustrato. 110 litros exactamente sobre la cama de cultivo que tenía de topcrop con humus de lombriz,tierra diatomeas y alimentada con npk. Después de eso tengo en mi cama de cultivo 810 litros de sustrato para mis 44haze. 💐 Saludos Día 14 Anulado el intractor,ya que el propio extractor mete aire fresco por las rendijas de ventilación.. En lo largo de la noche iré viendo el resultado en datos.. Ya coloque los soportes para la nueva iluminación que en estos días llega su driver de sustitución E visto que algunas plantas en estos dos días están en 67-70cm.. Ya colocado el sistema de riego para evitar más pisadas en el cultivo ya que algunas se realentizaron por pisar encima de sus raíces.. Le e metido una pequeña poda de bajos para airear más la zonas bajas del cultivo. Pequeño riego de folacion con remedio de agua azúcar para dos que estaban más estresadas.

* Early in the week I spent some time removing smaller fan leaves in the middle of the canopy. My goal has been to allow as much direct light to the bud sites as possible. * I've been working from home a lot more so I have been able to keep the PH on point fairly consistently. * The buds are really starting to fatten up and I've been noticing more hairs turning orange. Probably still at less than 5% overall orange so a long ways to go still. Pineapple Express #1 continues to impress. The buds are getting FAT!!! I can't wait to hold them in my arms. The lower sugar leaves have so much sugar on them that I literally panicked thinking I had a mold problem. On closer inspection is just solid crystals. I added a photo (maybe I'm exaggerating just a tad but see for yourself). Pineapple Express #2 is starting to pick up steam but it is the furthest behind. And I am thinking that might be for a reason if it keeps growing like is has been. I was taking a few leaves off and got to smell the trichomes, and I am telling you this smells like the best fruity pebbles you've ever had. I took 2 clones from her and both are looking great, so this won't be the last of her. Pineapple Skunk is middle of the road. It is further ahead than the others as the orange hairs are probably right at 5-10%. The buds are starting to get fatter and they are full of trichomes. I haven't been able to isolate a smell from her yet but there is a lot of competition in that tiny box. I think this one will yield a little less than the others but there are still many weeks to go so we'll see. Thanks for stopping by!

I've defoliated all the large leaves on all the plants. I started with the Tropical Marker and Purple Kush. I topped these two as well. The Pink Gelato is still very slow. Day 78 Update: Start of week 12! Watered plant with almost a gallon of pH balanced water until runoff. 4 days left of flushing on Plant #2. Going to play it day by day till harvest, depending on how this week's plans unfold. Day 82 Update: Harvesting Plant #2 today.
