Week 4 for Moby dick, She's finally starting to full herself together and getting some size, surprised how well she's doing for such low humidity conditions. I wont be training this girl whatsoever for now anyway unless her bottom branches start to push harder with growth. She's starting to show a few white hairs so i think from next week it will be pre flower time for her. I did encounter some aphids with her, was checking all the leaves every 8 hours or so killing anything i could spot & after 3 days or so i seem to be able to get rid of the issue.🙏

Hey guys I am a day late on the update cuz I went away for the weekend to a buddy's bachelor party and ended up with a broken clavicle in two places and need surgery tomorrow. I dont know how I'm gunna keep things rollin here but I'll figure it out. Anyways I couldn't get the plants out of the tent tonight but when I have some help tmm I'll try and get some better individual pics. I fed them before I left Friday at 1110 ppm with the green buzz and got a little burn, which is a good thing because that kinda shows me that less is more with this line and may save you a few bucks over time. It's also nice that there isnt 11 different bottles to pour from so far I couldn't be more impressed with GBL. The planta were all pretty bone dry today but look better than ever. Pics were taken at day 29 this week, temps have been around 73°F and 58% RH. This tent is in a basement so even with the dehumidifier the rh is pretty high especially with the lights out but the plants seem to enjoy it and I have plenty of air circulating Starting to think that big one is gunnsa be an absolute beast this time around it seems to be filling in much faster and is stacking more than the first run. The second one is like a x mas tree, 3rd ones in the corner but actually doing pretty well. Edit: I fucked somethin up here in the video I put day 29 bloom, these were flipped on june 9th and got 36 hr dark period, I uploaded the video last monday so it was actually on day 22 flower not day 29 but it's a little late to edit the video so ignore that day and I'll make a new one tonight which is actually day 28

I have transplanted into Dutch buckets. Filled with perlite. And all are now in the Greenhouse. Doing great. These are watered 4 times a day for 1 minute. This girl is doing great. Preflowers are out.

Everything so far so good Blue cheese on the left Sweet zz on the right, RQS recommend with the blue cheese to LST during week 3 so decided I’d just do it on the sweet ZZ aswell. Never trained a plant before think it went well tho.

Hey everyone! Since topping has been done on them, I started working on some LST to bulk up and shape the branches. The plants had some very fast responde to the topping and almost no stress, the LST has been working very well too. Next week I will put them under the scrog net and start shaping towards a flower carpet. I have some weird things growing out of the leaves that look like thricomes, does anyone know what this is? Plants seem very healthy. Thxx! 🙏

Motherplant of this clone didn't give same buds as a clone. Shame I don't have mother plants anymore. I would recommend Durban Poison for everyone, I guess more people should feel this strain. This is my favourite sativa from 2019!

Oh mama! We're getting close to chop day! Look at these top buds though, literally a morphed golf ball on top. Can't wait to taste that golf ball. 😁 The plant has been going great throughout the entire cycle, hopefully things finish as they've been going. No signs of deficiencies a little excess maybe so I've been laying off on the nutes a bit.. leaves are healthy green this will be the last week of nutes. Only water from now on.

Lovely body high on this one! Amazing for pain relief! Nice head too, taste and smell 10/10. Little yield but that was probably because of my mess ups throughout the grow. Overall a great strain Only yielded 9gs, was a small plant but no doubt I stressed it along the way so I think it’s more down to my mistakes than the genetics Tastes of grapey diesel, 10/10 🍇 Smells of straight grapes, 10/10 🍇 Appearance, very frosty and great looking bud(could be trimmed better but that’s on me)! 9/10

Starting to green back up and grow, getting bushy agian, continue with defoliation and LST. Raised the light some, lowers my dli but I want it to stretch some...snapped branches are still healing and have some new growth.

Frostbanger Plants 1-6 Week 12 June 8-14 FLOWER 7 Sadly, my journey with Frostbanger is almost over. This grow started as an unnamed FBA2502 tester strain completely unknown regarding growth habits, size, flavor profile or smoke effect. I used LST on two plants: #1 because she was leaning over so I decided to pin her down immediately. I decided to LST Plant #3 when I saw her nodes were short and stems were tight. To quote Fastbuds “Growers must know that these difficult-to-grow plants will pose specific challenges in terms of environmental control and nutrition” , making them best suited for cultivators with some experience under their belt. I mention this because 2 plants #4 & #5 always looked lighter than their counterparts. Having overfed in the past grows, I did not want to repeat the same mistake, especially when the other plants were lush and green and did not look deficient. I thought it was genetics, but I found out that these two plants probably had nutrient lockout and would have benefitted from a good flush. Overall, I didn’t make mistakes with overfeeding or over trimming. I had to manually control the environment since the ventilation went out. I did pretty good at maintaining a functional environment. Plants #2 & #5 developed pretty reds in their upper buds and leaves probably because of the air conditioner. The A/C brought the night temperatures to 65-68. This week I am flushing with an anticipated harvest this weekend. I did the last plant pictures and videos and trichome shots on each plant. I did preliminary defoliation removing the remaining fan leaves. For most of the sugar leaves I trimmed off the ends leaving the base with all the frost. These are going into the trim bag to be washed into bubble hash. I plan on pressing #5 because she is the frostiest. 6/9 PH 6.46 PPM 239, temp 68 2 ltr each 6/10 PH 6.6, PPM 230, temp 68 2ltr each 6/12 PH 6.4, PPM 242, temp 68.5 2ltr Thank you for sharing this journey with me and as aways, thanks for visiting, for the likes and most of all growers’ love and support. Started flushing the biggest plant today the should have about another week & half left on it, all the other ones are still clear & cloudy! Fingers crossed everything goes good through harvest I have never flushed or done any of the harvest or cure process😅😬

Another week has flown by! The girls are doing great, cruise control this week as I have just been monitoring RH and temps. Trying to keep them as low as possible, I’ve been getting as low as 74 during the day and 68 at night. I finally took a look a look at the trichomes with my jewellers loop, lots of cloudy, and a few amber around the leaves and top colas, but still lot’s of clear trichomes. I’ve ordered myself a wireless/usb digital microscope to assist with the process, and looks like it will be here just in time to determine harvest day. 😎🎄 I started by eliminating the nutrients at the beginning of the week. I typically allow for 3-4 pure water feeds before I harvest, and at the rate they have been drinking, this should be enough to get through the 7-12 days they have before harvest. I don’t flush, but rather “rinse” with normal water amounts, allowing the plant to use up the remaining nutrients in the soil. This also allows me to recover most of the soil from my grows and reuse ♻️ with other soil mix. There has been great debate and a great deal of bro science out there for many years, but the recent studies suggest there is no difference in end result when it comes to flushing or using nutrients right until the end, if a proper dry and cure is performed.
