It’s just the first week of flower, and they’re all praying, stretching, and absolutely thriving—filling up every inch of the tent. This grow space is officially packed from wall to wall, with each plant competing for its share of light and showing off some of the biggest, healthiest leaves I’ve seen yet! 🌱 A few strategic plucks here and there have kept airflow smooth and light penetration balanced. Those big leaves? They’re a sign of happy, healthy growth. Large leaves help the plant capture maximum light energy, essential during this stage, especially as they start focusing on developing those flowers. When plants grow huge, vibrant leaves like these, it means they’re well-nourished and content in their environment—a true testament to the well-balanced conditions we’ve got going in the tent! Flowering Parameters 🌡️ Room Environment: • Temperature: 26.7°C • Humidity: 63.3% • CO2: 960 ppm • VPD: 1.29 kPa (prime zone for flowering health!) Lighting: • Light Intensity: 835 PPFD (ideal for boosting flower growth) • Solution: pH 5.96, TDS 460 ppm, temp 21.1°C • Medium: Moisture: 100%, TDS: 520 ppm, Temp: 21.6°C Carbon Filter Installation & Smell Management 🌬️🌱 With the transition to flower, the scent profile is already starting to kick in—crazy for the first week, right? 🌸 To keep everything fresh and under wraps, I’ve set up a carbon filter system. Here’s how it’s working: I’ve connected the filter to my Aerofan, which pulls air directly from the tent. This air is cleaned by the filter and released into the main room, where it then passes through another filter before exiting my space. This dual-filter setup means no scent escapes into the wild, keeping things stealthy and the grow room a peaceful, scent-contained environment. Perfect for anyone concerned about keeping their home free from that telltale aroma! 🕶️🌬️ Enhanced Lighting with Emerson Effect 🌞 This week, I’ve introduced an extra 15 minutes of red light at the beginning and end of each light cycle. Why? Well, this red boost taps into the Emerson effect, enhancing photosynthesis efficiency, especially during the flowering stage. By stimulating a little extra wake-up and wind-down light, we’re mimicking the natural sunrise and sunset experience for these plants, which can help reduce flowering time. Not only does it encourage smoother transitions into day and night, but in theory, it’ll help these ladies finish a bit faster, while giving them a little nudge to build more substantial, quality flowers. 🌇 Nutrient Adjustments 🌱 Now that we’re in flower, I’ve swapped out the Start Booster for P-Boost and TopBooster to specifically support flowering needs. Here’s why: • P-Boost brings in additional phosphorus, vital for energy transfer and cell division as the plant channels more resources into budding sites. • TopBooster supports the flowering phase by improving flower quality and density, helping to build those big, aromatic buds we’re after. Watered today everything is looking good! All strains developing distinct scents now. Fat Banana has a Sprite like candy smell. The Blueberry Swirl has more of a lemon zest smell, was hoping for blueberry scent but hopefully it will come later. Tropical Cooler has the smell of a rotten fruit salad. Lemon Haze x Garypayton has more of a berry scent. Defoliated Blueberry Swirl, their were too many popcorn bud sites so I cut the branches off.

Hey all sorry for the late update. Got really busy with work and just wasnt uploading. I had to cull phat Gary cause she was a genetic herm, I’m talking pollen sacks all the way up the main stem. I’ve seen a few stress sacks here and there on the lowers but nothing like this. I added a video of it so you might know what to look out for. It’s my first experience with exotic genetix and while I have heard of them having herm issues before, I have never had anything quite like phat Gary. But, on the other hand, this Gary Poppins #2 is the best smelling plant I’ve ever had. She smells like a straight strawberry soda, just this very fizzy strawberry scent. It’s unreal. Gary Poppins #1 has a similar terp profile, but not as loud and she’s frosty as ever. Both the perm marker s1’s are identical. Both look exactly like the perm marker flower I’ve bought from seed junky in the past. Very lime green buds with light oranges hairs. Smells just like a permanent marker. Couldn’t be happier with how this run is going, well except Phat Gary. Still haven’t decided on Exotic Genetix yet. I guess we will wait and see how Blueberry Gary comes out, she’s currently in week 6 veg. Shout out to the mad scientist Jbeezy though, this perm marker is unreal. When I saw he was releasing s1’s I couldn’t believe it. Gonna wash this entire run for some fresh frozen. I would absolutely love to get this Gary Poppins #2 smell to transfer to some live rosin. Will update this when we finish and I’ll make a diary for blueberry Gary and Gastro pop from compound genetics when I get a chance. Week three all the girls are strong and healthy no problems. Besides the sherbet cream cakes seem to have some problems with the transplant possibly you know what I’m not exactly sure of what went wrong with them, but they both are smaller, but much slower growth rate in all other strains I have planted Besides that everybody is still nice and happy. The girls are still getting foliage fed every four days with pure protein, soluble kelp meal as well as getting boogie brew, heavy harvest tea every seven days. I added two videos to this week to kind of show how the girls really look it’s hard to get a good look at them with a photo but they’re all growing well and healthy but they’re kind of just trees right now and we want bushes so as of this week, I think after I give them their tea tomorrow, I will tie everything down and start stretching and we want at the end of this grow to have at least 10 foot of width on all four big girls. Well, still achieving a strong height of hopefully 8 feet..

Used bud clips to spread the branches out after topping to the 4th node. Doing well and super vigorous. Did some minor defoliation and set up a blumat this week.

Last auto i'll grow , autos are actualy good for fast and not so heavy stoners , my yield is good but not the way i want it , so i'll keep improving my shit , starting with femenised seeds next run also a blueberry , first femenised im going to use , so lets hope it will have a better harvest. Overall this autoflower blueberry yielded the most of all my autoflowers , dense buds , good quality and very fruity smoke!

Aug 16: Tropicana Cookies FF is a really fast flowering plant. I’m getting excited for the flowering progress cuz it looks like it is going to be a big one. Very exciting and we’re still only at mid-August so the timing is very good for a strong finish in September without it dragging into October. Aug 18: video shows using the 730 nm far red light at dusk. To maintain a natural schedule I use Civil Twilight as listed on timeanddate.com. This is getting 2-3 minutes earlier each night. Just a couple seconds is all it takes to put plant into dark mode 2 hours faster making it like a 26 h day. Great trick if you have daily access.

So those dying branches are what root rot looks like :s She is still growing ok, I'm smoking the branches that die. I've added Great White for some bacteria as i read that can help with root rot, hopefully it slows it down so at least buds grow.

Nice buds, coated with frost. Lived through root wrought, so I will give this plant a good grade for disease resistance. I will continue filling in as harvest / curing completes.
