Both plants looking good. The cheese, is really frosting and flowering up, really crazy! shes gonna become a beast and is so early into flower 13-08-2024. both plants been given a 5 ml shot of Calmag. also the cheese got her mid bloom dose of Biopk 16-08-2024. the ladies got some water today, and the Orange Apricot Glue has overtaken the cheese in height, compared to the cheese being the bigger one for most of the “grow”.

We back with some buckets! Straight outta the stix! Time to fire up the pumps and get this show on the road. Soaked this beautiful little gem of a bean in some water until it cracked then threw it into the bucket with 100% perlite. Started them on a low dose of maxigro on day 3. Doing these diy Dutch Bucket style as always. Going to be running 8 in house genetics strains on the system with constant 24 hour a day irrigation. Not much exciting going on yet, but with a little luck that may change pretty soon.

Started with a plain water feed. I’ll do a couple nute feeds before I start the flushing.

Week 9 All plants are growing vigorously in a healthy way. Side branches are stretching, structure is enlarging since topping. Approximately same size; the bigger are Flash Back #2 & Brake Pad Breath. Daylight 15h40 - 6h20/22h Found some aphids on the Royal Moby: I sprayed Black Soap on every plants and cleaned the infested plant leaf by leaf. I placed sticky traps in each pot: yellow, blue and black for the different type of insects Major parts of the time plants are in the veranda; clean, sunny and ventilated room. It’s easier to control pests and diseases, but the risk is the contamination between plants in this type of closed space. I sprayed Neem oil too. 2 watering: -roots stimulator + enzyme -grow nutrients + Bio Heaven Added more soil in pot (1.5L/plants) : Worm Humus + bat guano + diatomaceous earth (natural mineral insecticide) + vermiculite Sprayed Fish Mix.

Using a Rhaspberry Pi 4 to automate the watering and a TP-link 105 smart plug to automate the Viparspectra P2000 LED grow light. You can see how I automated it here: https://hackaday.io/project/188129-rhaspberry-pi4-basic-watering-system-for-balcony Basically, this is an "Automated Watering how-to Guide for Dummies" - as simple as technically possible. You still require some basic command line expertise, but the steps have been proven and I provide links to the gear I used AND the Node Red code, making this EASIER than anything else I've seen online.

It's happening! It's going to be a high of 32C/90F and so very sunny, so why not train them today? They're both 22 days from seed as of training start. #2 got FIMmed: So I was planning on topping one but ended up choosing to FIM it instead because it's lower stress. I have no idea what will happen now. I've never done either before. I chose #2 because it seems to be having an easier time producing leaves so far. I have a video of the cut. I used a pair of bonsai shears. I was really second guessing that I actually had to cut the leaves? I missed one, and it just felt weird to go back in and cut healthy growth, even though I'd already took off most of the newest leaves. I am not convinced I did this correctly because I don't understand what happens with the tiny new node I didn't cut. We will see. #1 got LST'd: With LST, I maybe should have done it sooner. The issue is the leaves are wide enough that they would be touching the soil if I really bent it like I was planning. I even undid it and tried the other direction just to see that it was even wider across. I propped a leaf on the tie and will have to adjust it again tomorrow once the crown has righted itself. I also read that it's not good to keep them in ties once they've gone into flower for autos because it stresses them, but with two plants I had LST'd, removing the ties just resulted in them eventually straightening the stems back out. So I'll not do that again for this one. I'm also a bit obsessive about measuring my plants, and that's harder with LSTing. I have a ribbon tape measure I use to measure the main stem length instead of the actual height of the plant.

SS2 I’m still giving biobizz grow and bloom 0.5ml/l ea. And she is also loving her environment Got some mushies growing in the one pot though 😄 pulled them out just to be safe still have to do some research :) might have something to say about the enviroment at the surface of the soil. ??

Blueberry Headband (2) and a Amhest Sour Diesel (1)from Humboldt Seeds. * Even though the ASD seedling is much different than the other ASD that I've grown, HSO says there's not a chance seeds got mixed, so I'm assuming that this pheno is more on the Amherst Super Skunk side of the lineage as was a seedling last grow. Love the pheno! Much different than the others. https://www.dinafem.org/en/blueberry-headband/ https://www.dinafem.org/en/amherst-sour-diesel/ Lighting https://www.horticulturelightinggroup.ca/products/260w-qb-v2-led-kit Soil Amendments for Blueberry Headband Soil https://www.gaiagreen.com/product-page/all-purpose-4-4-4 https://www.gaiagreen.com/product-page/glacial-rock-dust https://www.gaiagreen.com/product-page/mineralized-phosphate http://www.seasoil.com/ Worm castings Sunshine Mix #4 Epsom Salts Molasses Teas made from Gaia as well as in the soil and top dressing. All dried and cured this plant produced about 2.6 ounces of good flower. Not the best haul, but for all the troubles it had I am still pretty stoked. Will definitely be trying again with this strain and every other Barney's Farm strain I can get my hands on.

She's getting closer to the end. More orange pistils. Still a few weeks away though.
