Week 1 and the first round of testing for this recent new cross. The F1 generation of Northern Spice. Germination was a full 100% with varying degrees of development across 3 days in the towel. Oddly however, about half of the beans cracked the shell head first with their cotelydons. Stability is always suspect with F1s anyway, but this kind of sampling, this early is concerning somewhat. We’ll see where it goes. On another topic, we also made some big changes to the grow method this cycle. We’ve moved over to a grow system by the bucket company. Fairly similar to the Dutch bucket design, just without the small reservoir in each bucket that acts as an additional insurance policy. So far, she’s purr’n like a kitten👌. Strain details She’s a mix of a particularly strong Northern Lights, mixed with a Spicy Bitch sativa hybrid. The hope is that we’ll be able to combine the overtly narcotic effects in the NL and mellow it out somewhat with the quality daytime sativa effects found in the SB. Both strains feature numerous grower qualities. Both parents possessed vigour and resiliency, the SB particularly colourful in late flower.

The first week was flawless. All of them are growing at the same speed. The plants feel very nice. I gave them nutes for the first time, now they are drinking it, so we will see the progress next week.

5/14- Future #1 buds are continuing to fatten up. Some of the top bud leaves look like they might be getting some light damage but will continue to monitor in case I need to dial it back a bit. Otherwise, continue to feed balanced pH water and limited nutes.

Day 57 - Starting week 9 off with a gallon and a half of water and nutes today. She’s doing really well and getting big. Finally really starting to bud up a bit and not just pistils here and there. Not really doing any defoliating until she’s buds up a bit more but she’s getting there. She’s still stretching like crazy and when she seems to slow down, she gets watered and starts putting on the inches again. Day 58 - Didn’t really do anything with her today. Just took her out of the tent to give her a look to see how she’s doing. It looks like she’s definitely starting to bud up and should be an amazing harvest, when the time comes. Day 59 - Looking good and starting to stack up nicely. Still has got a long was to go but all is looking well. I did chop off a couple of lower branches that are completely covered and I’d rather her focus her energy on the ones that are getting the light. She’s gonna need some water again by Saturday. Day 61 - Gave the girl about a gallon and a half of water and nutes today and removed a couple fan leaves as well. She’s coming along nicely and buds seems to be forming nicely as well. Not really putting out much of a smell yet but hopefully she’ll starting frosting up soon so I get get a good smell from her. Day 62 - Not a whole lot new going on today. Removed a few dead fan leaves at the bottom and checked her out under a scope and looks like the trichs are starting to form. Day 63 - It’s the end of week 9 today and she’s drinking like crazy. Going to give her some more water and nutes tomorrow. She’s really budding up nicely and looking pretty damn good. The stretching has slowed down a little so hopefully she’ll start packing on some weight and getting frosty.

91Grapes day 72. Should have been harvested by now, she was a 65 day +/- from sprout and has two more weeks left, fuc . I think something is wrong with a nutrient imbalance as her leaves continue to lose their vibrant green color. Indications of a mag. Deficiency was evident so added epsom salts 1 tsp per gallon. Problem persisted so went with some bloom nutrients with a little nitrogen if that doesn’t help it might have to just except it and drive on. Flowers are fatter so if that continues then all is well, after all isn’t it the flowers we are growing anyway.

She did get huge, but she has some berry fruity smelly flower on her. Loaded with trichromes and looking like they will be dense and delicious. the two BPP R3 in soil went into bloom. the dwc are starting to enter bloom slowly as well 36-42 The veg and seedling cycle on the three gallon pot was short and it's gone into bloom with very little stretching. All of the plants look healthy, they look fine, no nutrient. Or PH issues Only one banana purple punch has been in bloom for about two weeks.Two out of the other four are about to finish stretching and go into bloom, and the fourth one is still a little stunted.And delayed. Bonjour a tous et toutes j ai enfin trouver le temp et la force de sortir les petites de la tante ;) et j ai malheureusement vue que 2 tête de ma melon gum commencer à avoir un peut de bud rot (je n ai pourtant jamais dépasser les 50% d humidité mais j doit dire que les têtes on triplé de volume en 1 semaine et pour la circulation de l air pas top ) j ai donc coupé tous cela et désinfecté aussi bien que je le pouvais, par la suite j ai augmenté l apport en air frais (rajout d 1 gros ventilateur) Autrement tous ce passe pour le mieux fin de semaine on passe au flusch 😉 voilà voilà (Ps= 2 plantes n ont pas été sortie je ne veut pas risquer quel casse vue la hauteur et le poids en bud mais promis vous les verrais bientôt

I seem to be improving every time -based on the quantities obtained (70g of buds +15g of leaves) 😁 - this time a marvel of smells and flavors came out 😍 the apical top is decidedly fatter than GG1 (this time I avoided messing with the pH) as well as all the other buds 😍 I don't have much experience with the various strains for now, but I definitely love this one
