1.20.2024: Time to gives this a go. 2.3x2.3 tent, XS1500 light, 2 gal fabric pots. Pots filled with FFOF(90%) & Perlite(10%.) Don't ask me why I chose 90/10. Nutrents are the FF Trio. Freebee seed from Humboldt Seed Co(Emerald Fire OG Auto.) Decided to germinate directly into the medium. Light is at 50% power at 2.5ft from the top of the pot(s). I'll have the light running 24hrs until it sprouts(fingers crossed it does.) I sprayed the top soil with pH 6.5 water when i stuck the seeds in then placed clear plastic cups over the seed location. My 4inch fan is on the way and it comes with a monitor for temp and humidity....no idea what current stats are. Just hope the damn thing spouts. Fingers crossed. More to come. 1.24.2024: We've sprouted! 1.25.2024: Took the lil domes off, opened 2/3 vents for some circulation. Been misting the top soil just to keep it moist with 6.5ph water. I also "bottom fed" 12oz of water just to keep things lubricated. On the fence about when to give the plants a proper watering. Might keep things going "as is" for the next two days. Inline fan and associated hygrometer comes tomorrow(1.26) so i'll finally have an idea on what the current stats are in the tent. Will make adjustments at that point in time. Light is 2.5 ft from soil at 50%. 1.26.2024: Inline fan came yesterday. Only set up the probe just to understand temp and humidity. With the light at 50%, 2 ft from the soil, all vents closed except one(1) port at the top, my current temp hovers around 79 and the RH is 50%. After setting up a humidifier, i'm now running 75 degrees, 64% RH and VPD .58. All within tolerance. I can already tell it will be a delicate dance managing heat, exhaust fan speed and humidity. Still haven't given the plant more than 2 cups of water and i'm only watering when the soil is dry. Tomorrow(1.27) marks 1 week since the seed was dropped. Plan is to lightly water the entire pot when dry for the next week or until growth really kicks in.

first day after a 12h night cycle, still have a big gnat problem. gonna go buy new bacteria, stickies and DT Earth. the grow shop just let me know that they got it back in stock but i haven't been able to find nematóides. doesn't seem to be a common practice here. i haven't watered them in a few days. the top soil is bone dry but the plants don't look like they're requesting water just yet so i think it's a good time to lay down the new dt earth and new yellow traps to see if we can kill the remainder. gonna grab some flowering ferts too while I'm at it. Update: got a bigger pot and some supergrow soil, only had time to transplant one of them today. but I decided to after them one more cycle before i do the DT earth. update: dt earth added, seems to be alright but not quite dry enough

Hello Growmies, Week 3 for our Watermelon Candy by Zamnesia is unfolding with promise as we observe their transition through pre-flower. Opting for low-stress training over topping, we're guiding their growth gently to maximize their potential. The plants have gracefully reached our SCROG, and with two already skillfully trained, they are demonstrating adaptability and robustness. Through the canopy, we see an even spread of foliage, indicating that our LST approach is on point. The structure of the plants is sturdy, showing that the careful maneuvering through the SCROG mesh has been well received. The greenery is lush, leaves are perked up, reaching for the light—signs that our Watermelon Candy plants are in their element and thriving. Our environmental management has mirrored the successful strategies implemented with our Epic Buzz and Red Banana Pudding strains. Daytime conditions are meticulously controlled, with the Tent-X system maintaining VPD within the ideal range for healthy plant activity. However, as we've noted with our other strains, our nighttime VPD control presents a challenge. The data indicate a discrepancy in maintaining optimal humidity levels when the lights are off, suggesting that our current setup is not fully regulating the environment during these crucial hours. The intention to integrate the Smart Mars Hydro fan into the Tent-X system is a move towards rectifying this issue, with the aim to achieve a seamless 24-hour environmental control. The transition to this enhanced system will ensure that our Watermelon Candy plants receive the same level of consistent care throughout their entire growth cycle. The Grapey Walker Kush shot up in week three like crazy. I mean, already looking like bushes. The Super Orange Haze is normal size.

Continuing to water almost everyday as the pot size is too small and the buds are packing on the weight and frost. I am giving them almost 4 liters of water everyday. I am going to skip today (monday) just to make sure im not promoting any root rot, although I know I will be sacrificing some microbes. I will water them on my Live first thing Tuesday morning. Im noticing a little bit of bronzing on the leaves of one, its something I get almost every grow in flower. Im thinking it is beacuse I need to change my RO filters, as I live in the country and use well water and I think It is a buildup of iron. I have crazy high iron even when I use an RO. I believe my TDS was still 400 with filtration lol. If I change the filters I should be able to get it back down to 100 to 150 ppm. We are on auto pilot right now with this garden, just have to water and nurture and I know I am going to get an amazing result in about 3 weeks or so!

Successful germination all seeds popped and now welcome vegetation looking forward to the weeks ahead ✌️🏻

So nun endlich wieder Zeit gefunden um die 8. Woche hier einzupflegen. Ist schon paar Tage her. Auffällig ist das die OG Kush ziemlich lang braucht um in die Blüte zu gehen, da haben die anderen sich mehr beeilt. Die Zkittly zeigt das sie ein ein ordentlicher Sativa Pheno ist. Ansonsten super gesund, immer noch kein gelbes Blatt in sicht.
