Week 2 of flower. The ladies drank 30% of their nutrients by mid week! Starting PPM was 1250, and was down to 850. Mixed a new batch of nutrients slightly stronger to 1350ppm and continued for the week. Wife has continued to do her defoliation on the plants, removing only the fan leaves that are blocking light from bud sites, or “laying” on each other. Vertical growth has been around 4” this week. I love the growth but am trying to keep the node spacing tight with good light height. Pistils have developed and bud sites are visible!

Flower Week 3 Plants are doing great, are ready for Food, I installed a drip system, with air stones in the reservoir. Got some microscope images of the Bud sites, smell is beginning to get stronger. Very Cheesy Mid Week Update: Drip system is working well, the plants seem to have burst with growth over the last 3 days. Before when watering with the smart fabric pots, I was getting a lot of run off from the bags. The drip system makes a big difference as I had no water in the trays underneath after running a complete cycle on the drip system, which took 24 hours. Bud growth is awesome, the entire canopy is fairly even with few shaded bud sites. I wont be tucking much at this point I believe the stretch is over.

4/30/19 start of a new week, las feeding was today, it’s flush time. I’ll probably chop her down around 70 days or a few more. 5/3/19 Watered with clean water. Trichomes are probably 50/50 clear/cloudy. It’s hard af to get a decent look with what I have I need a good recommendation. 5/6/19 Snagged a decent jewelers loupe hence the close up pictures. WEEK 9 (DAY 64-70) This week, my plants have significantly increased in volume. The buds are abundant, firm, and smell very sweet. Thanks to mainlining, they've become small and compact, now consisting almost entirely of flowers. For the past few weeks, I've switched to 24-hour lighting to avoid climate fluctuations and speed up the flowering process. So far, this has proven very effective. The plants are growing at a high speed, and I think I'll be harvesting in two weeks at the latest. I've set my lights to 700 PPFD. While this gives me a rather high DLI (Daily Light Integral), the plants don't seem to mind so far. Due to the high temperatures and strong growth, I have to water at least every 24 hours. I'm currently alternating nutrients with Biobizz and Plagron Green Sensation. Last week, I defoliated the plants again to ensure good air circulation around the buds and to direct all energy towards flower production. Thanks to the high transpiration rates, I'm managing to keep the room's humidity just under 60%. It's not optimal, but I think it will work out. May 12th, - Starting the 5th week above ground. She looks strong and healthy - building a Tea this evening for Dinner tomorrow - transplant to 3 gal pot tonight. Starting week 3 with a plain watering at 6.31. All plants recovered well from topping and are starting to grow much faster. Looking healthy and strong! Planning on some light lower defoliation early this week to get the bottom leaves off the soil. Still very short and bushy. 08/05/2020 - Watered at 6.31 all conditions remaining stable. (Pics) 08/06/2020 - Defoliated the bottom 3 sets of fan leaves. 08/06/2020 - Used green twist ties to begin LST the main branches (Pics) 08/06/2020 - Watered at 6.51 with added nutrients 7 ml between 2L. 08/08/2020 - Took a few more leaves from 3 of the 4 and adjusted tie downs, left 1 alone as she seemed unimpressed with the first defoliation. 08/10/2020 - Watered at 6.49 with added nutrients. 5 ml per 2L. 08/11/2020 - Final transplant into 7 gallon pots, All 4 had solid root growth and were starting to be root bound. I'm glad I did not wait any longer. 08/11/2020 - Watered post transplant with Plain water at 6.43 Used 4L between 4 plants.

12/24 week 13 Last week for Maggie , no more water to dry her out before harvest likely the 26th Tricones are ready and frankly the plant is on her last legs hardly a green leaf left above about the 50% line. Pics uploaded 12/27 She still drying out, that last was a good soaking. Chomping at the bit here got a Test grow waiting on her.

She started out tiny but definitely surprised me halfway through. She doesn't really smell as a plant but in the jars and paper bags, she smells like berries and watermelons. Only been a week since I dried her in the fridge but I can't wait so I'm going to try to smoke some of her tonight. I also had to harvest partially as some of the lower buds are not quite ready yet which means I'm not done yet as of now. Will update more soon.

Harvest incooming!§ 19/08/2019 we are at the last stage just before the harvest! the strain shows a strong smell of mint, fresh, which mixes with a sweet taste and good weed! it is 62 days since the seed sprouted, the resin is forming and multiplying visibly! I'm flushing and I think that within 10 days I'll cut the Royal Cooky

The time is finally here to post the harvest. I waited till it was all done and dry before updating the dairy so will add in the dry weights next on the 2nd half of the harvest entry. Had some ups and downs with this plant. mainly the extreme yellowing that was happening. I should have treated this faster with a flush but was super reluctant and I feel this has suffered in the end. The top best looking buds could have been larger and the lower ones could have been thicker. There is some smells with this plant but they are not pronounced. Just smells like mild basic weed, this would be one reason not to grow it, however, the crystals on this plant have been the most I've ever grown before. When trimming them every time the scissors snipped or the brush stroked I saw some falling down onto the tray. This plant would be great for making hash. had a good little ball of finger hash at the end of it and will be giving that to my friends to smoke or make a strong edible with. I don't plan on growing this strain out again, the lack of smells and the fact I'm only trying to grow cbd dominate plants is the main reason. If my friends really like this I have some clones so can always give them some. Speaking of clones they are doing well outside, greened up a lot and showing signs of revegging. Took some photos of the weed hang drying on day 1 in the tent and a week later to show how much they shrink. most of the lower growth is quite larfy but will make good edibles or hash, that will be a fun project to do and may include that in my projects diary. My light grew for 20 weeks and 4 days, or 144 days. almost 21 weeks total. $35.67 / 144d = 0.2477$/d average of about 25c a day in electricity 337.2kw for the entire grow. Using the regular calculation of grams harvested divided by watts used is not accurate to me, it does not account for all the time the lamps are on, the length of grow to the over all cost. The calculation that makes sense to me is this, harvested dry weight of usable cannabis buds/trim/keif/whatever in grams divided by total kw used. Could also combine it with grams per total single use costs “anything you used only for this grow and wont reuse in the next, or fractions of multi use items like fertilizers if they ½ full” and see how much you’re investing per gram. "kw" ÷ "g" = kw/g "$" ÷ "g" = $/g I have harvested 5.34oz or 151.6g on 337.2kw. 337.2kw ÷151.6g = 2.22 kw/g of usable cannabis. This is not an ideal ratio for me and looks like a lot of energy waste happened from the extended veg period. $35.67 ÷ 151.6g = 0.24c/g It cost 24c/g when comparing total electricity cost to gross yield, almost identical to the comparison of total electrical cost to the number of days in the grow 25c/day. In a 1m x 1m tent, Lumii 315w , (using marshydro SP150 in flower stage), secret Jardin fan, carbon filter, intake fan 5”, humidifier. So out of the four seeds popped last week three where successful in rooting. Added a sprinkle of great white shark to help with root stimulation and just water. Root are starting to show on the side of the cup so almost time to transplant to bigger pots (moving into fabric pots) Transplanted in to fabric 20l pots with feeding powder at a low dosage. But unfortunately one transplant didn’t go to plan and part of the tap root snapped (but not going to give up on her yet) 1L of water in cups 4L of water in fabric pots 20L 33g bio grow

A big shoutout to all the visitors and growmies reading this 👋👋👋 Blue Cheese grows nicely the biggest problem i got right now is space in the 60x60 (2'x2') it's very probably i will transplant one or both of the plants to a bigger grow room around next week. I did swap the nutrients for bloom this week that's why there's a little foxtailing on the Blue Cheese, it's the first time i'm using the Jungle Indabox nutrients on a plant that has roots in soil, so the concentration is a bit different, otherwise the plant looks healthy, preformed some defoliation too. Still I didn't notice any flowers but for sure next week will be a flowering week ;) The irreplaceable TS 1000 lamp from Mars Hydro runs now on 100% (all hand on deck ;) at a distance of 30cm. from the plants.
