Es ist soweit! Am Freitag habe ich die fünf Easy Buds nach knapp 11 1/2 Wochen abgeschnitten und geerntet. Leider musste ich feststellen, dass eine Pflanze ziemlich stark befallen war. Ich vermute eine Milbenart oder möglicherweise Fliegeneier. Unterhalb der Blätter waren etliche dunkelgelbe und dunkelbraune Eier, die man auf den ersten Blick kaum erkennen konnte. Bei genauerem Hinsehen sieht man jedoch, dass sich der Befall auf die ganze Pflanze ausgeweitet hatte. Glücklicherweise blieben die vier anderen Pflanzen verschont. Aus diesem Grund trockne ich die Pflanzen auch getrennt voneinander. Die befallene Pflanze wollte ich nicht direkt wegwerfen, sondern erstmal trocknen lassen. Im Nachhinein werde ich schauen, wie ich mögliche Schadensbegrenzung betreiben kann. Die vier gesunden Pflanzen werden in einem geschlossenen Zelt in einem Trocknungsbeutel getrocknet. Die befallene Pflanze habe ich in dem Folienzelt aufgehängt und mit einer Plane abgedeckt. Nach wenigen Tagen der Trocknung sieht soweit eigentlich alles gut aus. Die Eier scheinen nicht mehr zu schlüpfen, sondern fallen von der Blüte ab oder verschrumpeln zu Kompost. Ich hoffe, dass es dabei bleibt. Der Geruch hat sich nach dem Abschneiden deutlich verändert. Schon nach der kurzen Trocknungszeit kann ich einen intensiveren Geruch feststellen, der sich noch nicht so richtig beschreiben lässt. Die Blüten waren stark mit den sogenannten "Sugar Leaves" verwachsen, weshalb ich sie grob getrimmt habe, um sie zum Trocknen aufzuhängen. Nachdem die Blüten vollständig getrocknet sind, werde ich die Buds noch einmal einzeln trimmen und durch meine Trimm-Maschine von Vevor jagen. Der Ernteprozess hat zu zweit circa eine Stunde gedauert. Die Pflanzen waren zum Zeitpunkt der Ernte noch sehr gesund und kräftig. Die Verwurzelung war trotz des geschlossenen Topfes sehr gut. Die schönste Bud hat definitiv die zentrale Pflanze, Greta, ergeben. Nass hätte ich den Bud auf mindestens 12 g geschätzt. Ein Gesamtgewicht des nassen Pflanzenmaterials habe ich nicht ermittelt. Sobald alles trocken und fertig beschnitten ist, werde ich das Tagebuch um den trockenen Betrag ergänzen. Stand jetzt würde ich schätzen, dass der Ertrag aller Pflanzen bei circa 40-50 g liegt, was mich für meinen ersten Grow ziemlich zufrieden stellt, besonders in Anbetracht dieser wirklich sehr simplen Strain. Ladies are doing ok this week. Had a heat wave with high humidity here the last few days. Been struggling to keep temps and humidity down. My Lemon AK #2 has a tad of leaf curl along the serrations, but other than that I think all is well. The frost is building nicely and the Lemon AK is getting nice and sticky. My Gorilla Glue is still a bit behind on flowering but they are making good progress. Overall I'm happy with last weeks results. Thanks for checking out my grow! 👍

Loving this week! A week of healing and growth. Topped some side branches on the og kush plant in middle. I’m still stumped if I should top again? Or just let me veg for a few more weeks??? Using water in between nutritions. Made a mistake with one of the plants tied down. I loved the other pot it was tied too and almost ripped the plant in half! Oh man!! But she’s tapped and I’m recovery now! Super excited for the growth and learning! Loving how things are! Stretch seems to be over. Buds almost doubled their size. Looks fine - not very smelly yet

Die Letzte Woche der Blüte mit zufügung von Dünger für die 3 Red Hot Cookies, ab jetzt werden die Mädels nurnoch mit ordentlich viel Wasser gegossen bis zur Ernte. El Patron und Strawberry Lemonade bekommen noch 1-2 Wochen mehr, jenachdem wie gut sie den zusätzlichen Platz ausnutzen sobald die 3 Red Hot Cookies das Zelt verlassen haben. 👍 😁😍

Dünger wird langsam runter gefahren von gießen zu gießen.

This week has been fun. The sea has exploded with green lots of growth tips pushing up past the big fan leaves. This is our last week of veg so towards the end of the week I'll defoliate a little bit and then give them some time to recover before we switch to 12/12. Not feeding any extra nutrients just rain water into the living soil and I think I got some mycelium growing, which is awesome. Given how impressive the vegetative growth of this train has been I am super excited to see what flowering is going to be like.

Compost tea turned out well, let it go for 26 hours total and geared it towards fungal. Also took some soil samples several days later around the stalks and found a lot of nematodes and protozoa which is what you want to see. Lots of different types of nematodes so what your looking for are the bacterial feeders (there are charts online that show you how to identify them). Mycorrhizae can be identified by it's dark colour, uniformity and segmented nature. Testate amoebas live in a translucent shell like a snail and are easy to spot but hard to spot moving due to my shitty microscope, but look for the tentacles. Also found some eggs with movement inside, no idea what they are but they have vacuoles and flagella. She is really getting sticky and smelly now; berries with herb notes. You can see the resin stretching over the trichomes in the last pic. No signs of senescence yet so I'm not going to feed them, they should have plenty of food anyway as this is a second run of the same soil.

Stretch is done. Defoliation for F21 will be tomorrow. Other than starting these too early. Happy with the progress! Bud sites galore, nice healthy ladies, fungus gnats on the decline. On cruise control soon!

Flowering appears to have begun. Definitely getting pungent! She's started getting a little pale, so I'm working TPS One in to the watering, added a fresh layer of soil-ammendment, and trimmed a few leaves. Hopefully i nip any nutrient issues in the bud before next week!

It's all happening right now. Instead of putting energy into roots, vegetation, and foliage, the plant is driving everything straight into the flowers. The acceleration in growth is absolutely astounding.I dialed up the Bloombastic to 1.5 ml/L, turned the lights down, opened the doors and windows, and let the fresh air flow through. Now I'm just letting nature do her thing.

I LOVE GROWING!! Purple Kush is growing super fast! It will be finished way before the Moby Dick's. I was noticing some swollen Calyx on the Purple Kush and since I'm a newbie I was a little concerned thinking that she hermed on me. After talking with many growers I was told it was normal which was a HUGE relief. I fed 5 out of 7 days this week Ph between 6 - 6.1 Moby 1 - 9ml 4500ml Moby 2 - 9ml 4500ml Purple - 8ml 4000ml *Screwed up one feed on the Purple and fed 9ml 4000ml and shortly notice nute burn.

First week

Plants got a surge of growth over the week, lookin forward to a decent canopy come flower. Switched to 12, keeping MH bulb going until i see flowers. Slowly beginning to wean off the calcium nitrate as well. Also have begun to do some light defoliation and pruning where necessary - best to nip it in the bud as they say - before the energy investment grows. Gotta be careful with your girls though, don’t get clipper happy. Cheers Late week update: Actually probably keeping calcium nitrate steady since it'll need more for the stretch, after which I'll quickly decrease and change my nute schedule.

Au 27ème jour, la strawberry Gorilla se porte à merveille. Je suis convaincu qu'elle présente un phénotype indica, étant donné sa forme plutôt compacte. Il est difficile de ne pas remarquer la nécessité d'attacher les branches... J'attends maintenant avec impatience de voir la préfloraison se poursuivre et l'étirement de la plante perdurer, en espérant une multiplication des sites de tête. Engrais : je continue à utiliser un mélange comprenant du seaweed, de l'humic, et un booster à moitié dosage recommandé, sans ajout de NPK.

So it's the day 9 of flower start of week 2 and she is really starting to stretch!!! I'm trying to only feed her a couple litres at a time to reduce the amount of humidity in there and to make sure she dries out a bit more regularly...so far it's staying around 45% which is pretty damn good 😁👊 So day 13 of flower 31/08/21 and she is FLYING! even after the heavy defoliation!! I've still got about 9 days of upward growth to go she's staying quite squat though perhaps because she's 60% indica or maybe I should have vegged a week or 2 longer.. first grow live and learn lol Last feed she had was Monday 29/08 and she drank 4L of full dose nutes and so far so good no burn 😁🔥stays at 2ml per litre of bloom feed for another week and I also picked up some "Rezin" to stimulate trichome production that will be going in next time More pictures to follow next week!
