DAY 56 flowering: Hi all and welcome to any new visitors too. We are at the near end point now with this 1st run of the viparspectra xs1500. It has been a very pleasant experience and also a humbling one too. I never expected the performance it has proven and initially thought I would struggle to find a practical way of incorporating it into my set up and to see what it had got to offer. Deciding to go the route I have was more driven by the lights abilities to perform wat better than I anticipated. The 5 seedlings soon became 5 big ladies that would have been impossible to squeeze under the 2x2 flowering coverage They did however, get an amazing start right up to flowering beginning before I had to choose who stayed under the xs1500. The 2 that I mainly diary for the lights ability are the focus of the journal but I have to include a little on the other strains due to their initial support from the light and to also include the Gorilla cookies as they are amazing plants. They are both so close to ready now and sadly one of the mains has been hit with an little bud rot from its density. The buds smell so candy sweet now too. I will be keeping a very vigilant eye on these now. Grandaddys mimosa had continued her swelling from using the #Shogun Dragon force and is a perfect example of how the product works in the final 2 weeks of flowering , when usually they are fading out to finish. The buds have doubled in girth with an absolutely solid feel to them too . The light has helped create some very hard buds. No signs of whisky popcorn at all and each stack is a solid spike of flowering plant. For such a squat girl, she is so impressive. She smells so fruity with a hint of citrus to her and she is engulfing all the leaves that had been poking out previously. I think she will be a surprise yield next week !. The Northern lights girls are both doing really well too with the #2 mutant starting to ripen up finally now. She is still way taller than her sister but has sone long node gaps. #1 is totally different, she is a spiked monster compared and her colas are taking on a nice pale orange colour as they ripen. I do think she will go another week before being ready to consider harvest. She is still so fresh looking in a lot of places that I dont want to rush her at all. The light has managed to penetrate deep enough into the plant to create long spiked colas with no issues down low in the canopy with whispy popcorn to mention either. This is a very positive point to mention as some l.e.d do not get the penetration needed to do more than create a top canopy with poor light reaching deeper and not supplying the par they need. This light does not have that issue by a long shot. It penetrates like "Dirk diggler" and reaches all those important ladies parts !!!.... I am most impressed by the mimosa so far and as a 1st gen cross auto of a mimosa lemon Male sacks and a random multi strain seeding from its pollen release , I have ended up with a good amount of crossed autos from trusted and stable strains. It can be fun growing these out and so far this is the 3rd from the batch that I have successfully run. Aside from the benefits of the end products we get , the journey we go on can be an amazing and eye openening experience. If you start to investigate how these plants really live , love and die and how they use the network of available systems to communicate and build our much loved bud factories , you will find it hard to climb out of that rabbit hole . Finding out that fungi is not the man everyone wants to party with but IS a complex communication system used in nature to meet the needs of the whole forest/fauna in unison is life changing !!!!!. At day 57, they are now going into a 48hr dark period before harvesting . I did have a couple of bud rot issues in one or two buds due to the density of their growth. I am hoping to keepnot at bay during the low and slow dry after trimming wet this time. I will update their yield ect once they finish. Pics dont do them justice and they smell so sweet. Nové větve hezky vyrostly. Dám jim ještě 2 týdny a potom bych rád přepnul světlo na 12/12 Na rostlinách se objevují lehké náznaky popálení živinami. Některé listy mají hnědé konečky ale opravdu jen v malé míře D51 Pondělí: Použil jsme LST abych udržel rostliny v jedné výšce. Během LST mi z 50% praskla 2 větve u HazeBerry 2 ve spoji po posledním zastřižení . Jedna větev je v pořádku. Druhá po 3 dnech vypadá že přežije i když vypadala velmi špatně. Holky dostaly 1L vody s 0,5ml/1l RQS Booster Bigger Flowers. D54 Čtvrtek: Poslední velké LST a Defoliace, kdy jsem z každé rostliny odstranil celkem 16 spodních listů D55 Pátek: Dostaly 1,5L vody s vypsanými živinami Holky jsem postříkal výluhem z hmyzího trusu, který má repelentní účinky téměř na vše.

Hoffe nach den Überraschungen in der letzten Woche verlaüft diese wieder ruhiger. Habe den Leitwert des Drain bei beiden Pflanzen auf ph6 und 2000 microSiemens Ende letzter Wiche reduziert bekommen. Interessanter Weise waren die Leitwerte bei den Pflanzen trotz exakt gleicher Wasser/Düngergabe um den Faktor 2 auseinander. Der ph-wert lag bei beiden bei 4,8 [Warum auch immer]. Hab die Werte durch Spülen mit Leitungswasser und Osmosewassermix mit Leitwert 500 auf die oben beschrieben Werte gebracht und hoffe das die Damen es mir verzeihen und mich trotzdem in 3 Wochen mit reicher und vor allem leckerer Ernte belohnen werden. Gieße jetzt jeden 2Tag, so viel, dass genügend Drain entsteht um die Werte zu kontrollieren. Drain liegt bei Ph ca. 6,0 bei max 2,5mS andernfalls wird mit Osmose oder Leitungswasser (0,8mS und Ph7.2) gegegengehalten. Da sie in Stofftöpfen stehen, ist es hoffentlich nicht so dramatisch etwas zu viel Wasser zu bekommen.

Beginning of week.. As I watered this morning (no nutes at 111 PPM), the runoff came out at 830 PPM.. so the plant may not be taking up as much nutes? Idk.. possibly.. but since I'm so close, I've decided to just cut the nutes in half while completely removing CalMag and Hydroguard.. they shouldn't be doing much at this point anyway.. temps were a little cooler the last couple weeks (not so much this week) so it's helping purples come out! Wish I could get it even cooler.. but the flush should help her reveal beauty!.. she's already so gorgeous, to me 😍 Mid week.. She is absolutely stunning! So the last time I fed, the runoff TDS was coming out less than it was going in.. 700 PPM, good deal.. but when I watered the next time, the runoff TDS came out 200 PPm more.. like 900 PPM.. so I watered the next day and it came out 800 PPM.. so today I watered with FloraKleen and it came ou 700 PPM.. the days I watered was only 80 - 100 PPM going in.. no reason for the runoff to have jumped up like that out of nowhere.. I haven't been rinsing off the saucer as I should have been (daily).. just pulling the runoff out as soon as I can.. maybe it is just built up on the saucer?? Idk.. I guess I should attempt to pull it out and rinse it at least once or twice a week.. other than that, she is still turning purple ALL OVER more and more each day! Beautiful smell.. sweet, citrus, slightly skunky.. not overwhelmingly skunky.. but she isn't too far off.. so, I was thinking I will just keep watering till harvest.. not flushing the medium in one watering.. just normal amount of watering with a normal amount of runoff and she can use up what's left in the medium for this week, then the 2 week flush (still just watering normal amounts daily) will begin.. not this week even tho I'm not giving any nutes, due to a salt build-up going on somewhere in the rootzone.. but we shall see! End of week.. Wow she is getting close! So dank! So fruity! Definitely got the skunky phenotype but not lacking on the berries, whatsoever. Seeing many cloudy trichomes.. still a few clear but the way she is maturing, I believe she will be ready in just another 1 week, 2 if I'm feeling patient (probably not). This week was literally nothing but water. Wait, I did do one dose of FloaKleen due to the salt build-up about mid week.. never used anything else this entire week.. so this week was just a slow flush.. will have an update on the runoff tomo (beginning of next week) with more pics! RH is a struggle, it is a hot and wet summer, the dehumidifier is on from time to time but it adds even more heat. The ORP probe is not calibrated and values are to be taken with a grain of salt. Easy week of just watering every 2 days. Buds are really starting to swell and become frosty. I picked up a digital microscope to look at trichomes and they are beautiful. Not 100% confident at determining where the trichomes are but most of them still look clear so I still have a couple weeks. Feel free to let me know or correct me I put a photo of the trichomes up. After a long journey, we’ve finally reached harvest time for the SLH x RS11. This strain proved to be tall and resilient, handling the entire cycle with strength. Visual Appeal: As it reached the final stages, it developed beautiful deep red and purple hues, making it a true standout in the tent. While it takes a bit longer to fully mature, the wait is absolutely worth it. Aroma & Terpene Profile: The scent isn’t overwhelmingly strong, but it’s incredibly unique—a blend of lemon and soap, with a fruity sweetness and a funky, almost creamy-gassy undertone. Now onto drying and curing—let’s see how it smokes!

What a long day, but I appear to have made it. I picked Gnomo specifically for its short size and fast flower time. She did not disappoint! Transplanted and she handled it very well. At transition, have her a bit too much microbes. But she quickly recovered, which I assumed she would. The transition top dress would be her only top dress. I got to boost her a few times, but then she was done. POOF! 😂😂 The slight burn made her a little rocky looking. But she turned out awesome buds! Very frosty looking and stacked!
